Can I offer a repair service on Listing Dock?

My main craft is to repair things. I love to fix things of all kinds. I have repaired old books or broken clocks. This is only a hobby. But, it would be good to earn money from it. Could I offer a repair service on Listing Dock, where the person would ship the item to me and I would repair and return it?

Im sure you could, not sure if you would get much sales though as it would require buyers to firstly send you there items and that would require a lot of trust in the seller. Im not saying your not trustworthy, but it is about wither you can show and convince enough buyers that you are and that will post you there items for you to post back to them after repaired.

I agree with Sean. Try it out and see if you get interest from others, but I would have a hard time sending my stuff to others that I did not know.

I might be wrong though but I believe this kind of service will be better offline than online.

I'm taking example from myself I don't know if I can send my item to someone a kilometers away to repair. Well,nothing is impossible you could still try it out.

There could be some problems with this type of service as already pointed out. But, if you had a large network of friends and contacts from forums, you might be able to drum up enough business to make it worthwhile. These people would already know you, so they would not mind dealing with you.

You might have strong competition from local repair companies who can offer in home repair type service or other local based benefits such as free pick up of the item.

I don't see why not. Listing dock is more like marketing your skills or marketing everything that you can sell online. Which is very convenient for us, since it's free.

You can sell anything here on listing dock as long as it's a good offer, and I assure you that people would love it. Although it's a good thing to market your thing or your skills here, remember that there are still people who would do the same for them to earn just like you, so having competition is a thing that you need to know.
