    What is the right price to pay for a microphone that you plan to use for voice overs or video productions?

    It will just depend on why you need the microphone. So for instance, if you are selling audio work, you could pay way more than if you just want a microphone to produce a few simple let's play videos for Youtube.

    Ebay have good deals for "studio microphones" but they're not always the best deals out there!!! if you live in the states(US) I will recommend you to go at your local "Pawn Shop" first to check the prices, before ordering online, last year I bought a "MXL 990" like new in the box with stand and filter for $32.00 usd .

    I think that you can get good deals if you look around. My husband got one on ebay for under $30 How much do you pay for a microphone? It was a year or so ago though.

    It depends on the kind of microphones you are interested in buying, some are quite expensive while others are a bit more affordable. So depending on the kind of production you are planning to take on, should decide what kind of microphones that would be best suited for such productions.

    Over here in Nigeria, there are some microphones that would cost within the range of #12,000 to #40,000. So therefore, everything is completely dependent on what you actually can afford and also which one is best for the production you intend to make.

    I usually pay for $2-$3 but it really depends where you're gonna used it. For me I used it more on recording sometimes so i just buy cheap but very good audio quality types of mic. And also, I buy mic which are more expensive than the recording ones because it's for gaming use.

    Looks like electronics is pretty cheap in your place. The place where we have things it's not really cheap. And it can cost a lot if you ask me. Some of the time microphone type stuff and accessories cost a lot. I guess it depends on the overall price point in some places. We have in the range of 5$,

    I am not a fanatic of expensive tools for my PC, I have spent around 8 dollars for my microphone, this happened two years ago and I have the same microphone, is good, cheap and do its job I don't intend to spend more money for a microphone.

    I think any price around 30$ or less is good enough for MIC with earphones. I have one at home. And also use one for the workplace. And so far things are going to good with that. I can tell you that earphones are classic design works better. I think pricing needs to be proper in that case. Many online sites have things set up as well.

    I would agree that you would have to look around for the best deal. We bought one from ebay that cost 24 usd, but they were not the quality we were expecting. Maybe expect to spend 30 and up for a better deal.
