    Have you ever made homemade caramel apples? If so what did you put on them, such as nuts or chocolate chips?

    I have never made my own caramel apples. However, I still remember buying these caramel apples at the local fair as a child. The only thing I didn't like was when they used over ripe apples that had brown spots.

    I love mine with just caramel and then maybe some drizzled chocolate on the top of it. This sounds really good right now.

    I have heard this thing before but I didn't have the chance to taste it or get a feel of it. I've seen this food many times during my grade school days, but at the time I don't have any interest in caramels or anything sweets since I'm not that fan of sweets yet.
