Of course I'm a Brit so I'm rooting for all my fellow Brit athletes regardless of the event. And so far, team GB has done very well at the Rio Olympics snagging gold medals and breaking some records. 6 golds in cycling, 3 in rowing, 2 in gymnastics, sailing and equestrian. With Jason Kenny and Max Whitlock getting the most in cycling and gymnastics. I very much like the Taekwondo and am rooting for Jade Jones and Bianca Walkden who are both doing quite well but are up against some good fighters who have basically kicked butt so far. But that's woman's Taekwondo. For the men's team we have Lutalo Muhammad who won gold at the 2012 European Taekwondo Championships and I'm hoping he beats that Azerbaijan guy Milad in tonights semi-finals and gets to the final with that Tunisian guy Oussama because I've seen how he fights and he doesn't have as much spirit. A lot of endurance though.
Although Olympic Taekwondo has many rules and restrictions and isn't quite like MMA even though many MMA fighters adopt styles and techniques from Taekwondo. I mean the protection pads they were is just ridiculous. But they do get knocked around a bit! In fact, even with all that padding protection, you can still get knocked out pretty easy of you are on the heavy end of a round house or scissor kick!
It's on tonight BBC1 02:15 in the Men's 80 kg.

Then yes I mentioned on the other post here about the Olympics that I like to watch the gymnastics in the Olympics.. well sometimes.
I don't really follow anything, so who do I think should win? I'll have to say South Africa then because it is my country, but really whoever wins wins, it doesn't make much of a difference to me. Oh dear... ok so here we go, I'll say it straight out. I am not really a fan of watching or following any sport. I watch the Rugby World Cup, sometimes I'll watch the TriNations rugby or locally the Curry Cup... rugby is big in South Africa.
