To give or to receive which is better?

To give or to receive? which one do you prefer? 
To be honest I prefer both, when I give something to someone it just feels so good especially when they're really in the need of help and you give them something that they really need, it's so worth it and it feels good helping someone or giving someone, On the other hand I love receiving stuffs too, like gifts or cash, it also feel's good knowing someone would give you anything you want and that they love you.
