Afraid of learning web deisgning

Hi guys, it's my very first post.

This is my first year in the university, and i really want to work from home, specially from internet. So, I have an offer to learn web designing, (a course will take 105 hours).

I have two problems making me not to take this step till now, which is:
1- There are a lot of codes, maybe i will forget them after learning?
2- THE BIGGEST PROBLEM, i'm afraid of not finding a clients/work on freelancer or elance or even a job after learning web designing.

Are these problems could be solved? Thanks guys.

Just think positive, don't worry too much. There will always be work for web designers, as new websites come every day, but don't worry about that, first try to learn as much as you can, and get good at it, customers will come. And don't worry about forgetting it, when you learned, and work a little each day, that way it will become a part of your life and daily routine, so you wont ever forget it, like riding a bike.

Don't worry! Just take it one step at a one. Learn one thing and then build on your knowledge to the next level. All these codes will seem second nature within a year, but it will require constant practice and reptition to learn and master what you need to know. As for finding clients, don't sell yourself short. Find out what your services are worth (offline) and then target clients who are willing to pay the price. Rely on regular/repeat business, rather than one off clients as this is where most of your freelance income will come from. Best of luck with your studies.

These tips are really helpful. Before you develop any skills you need to find out whether these new acquired skills or the skills you want to acquire will pay you or not. You need to check offline as well as online. I was just an ordinary writer. However, when I discovered that having SEO skills will pay better. I learned SEO and began writing SEO articles. Now I was earning more from each assignment. When I launched my blog, I find out that writing and SEO skills were not enough to become a blogger. Thus, I began exploring programming.

Why you afraid of learning ? learning is very good to gain knowledge and especially when you are doing a course which will help to earn online than you have to focus on your study 1st.
and why you hopeless not getting any client in Freelancing sites ? its not a matter of a day or two to get clients from freelancing sites you have to work hard and more concentration upon client requirement and huge designing and coding knowledge.
so please concentrate on your study and use your knowledge to get clients.

I think we all have that fear of learning something new. And we have to struggle to do things in that process. As you can see that some of the time you may need to focus on the aspects of the clean and clear design. So in that context it can be said that learning web design may require understanding of color and the design. On that point I can tell you that sometimes we just have to take risk and make sure we do something about designs and test it out.

If you are really passionate about learning web designing, I don't think you will find difficulty with remembering the codes. When you are passionate, you will remember everything and learn faster.
Your second reason is unfounded. If you check the sites like SEO Clerks, CodeClerks, Fiverr, Upwork, you will find that sellers offering web designing services are in high demand.
However, you need to be a master to make money from your service.

I think one project a day is the way to go with any skill. And the same can be said about the web design. You can see that some of the time it can be really harder to work around with the web design. I think something like 30 days of learning challenge sort of thing can be helpful for the folks. I guess we learn through small steps so this should be a good start.

I am basically an online writer. When my writing instructor said if I have graphic designing skills, I can upload better photos with my article and make visually appealing. If the article is visually appealing it will make better traffic. I was writing for a lot of sites and the sites began to collapse. I learned a lesson that if I continue to write on third party site, and the third party sites begin to collapse, one day my entire online contents will be gone. Therefore, I started my own blog. When I had my blog, I understood. I need programming skills to become a better blogger. This is how I began learning programing. I am learning one skill at a moment.

Yes there are more things that can come to you if you know some type of the graphics design. The reason being those skills are valued a lot. And also writer knowing the graphics work is lot better idea in that case. I have seen people making money more if they know the graphics and other editing experience. Even social media people know more about it.

Learing a new skill will always make you money. 10 years ago, I would have never thought I would be designing WordPress websites. I was a writer and was very complacent with my work. However, when I launched my blogs, the writing was not enough for me, I needed programming skills. Even when I was just writing, I had to learn SEO and digital marketing in order to generate more views on my articles. If you want to launch a website some day, you should prepare yourself with related skills.

I think skills change every day. And so learning new things and getting paid for the same is the right way to go. And another thing is that web designing is not that easy either. So we have to focus on what we can do the most easiest way. And we have to learn from our experience. I guess it comes in a lot different ways as well.

If you want to earn better, you need skills. What kind of skills you need depends on the nature of your work. If you want to build or design website, you need programming skills. If you do not know programming, you can never become a web developer or designer. Sometimes you also need to develop skills in certain area even though you might not be working on that field. For instance, if you want to work as a blogger, all you need is writing skills. However, having programming skills pays better.

I have noticed that with WordPress there is no need for much programming skills. Just HTML and CSS is good enough. A little bit about the PHP definitely helps. But it's not something to be worried about over. I have noticed some people do make use of the other skills and earn more in due process.

Well, web designs are very in demand these days. If you could actually learn it, then countless opportunities awaits you. With freelancing alone, a lot of sites pay high wages on web designers. You just really have to cultivate learning in this area since it is not that easy to learn it. But it is not impossible. NO need to be afraid. You can do it.
