What's your thoughts about Audible?

They're always showing ads for Audible online and I was really thinking about signing up for th esite. After all, you get a free audio book. I like the idea of being able to have my favorite books on mp3, rather than having to read the books. Do you think Audible would be worth signing up for or would you stick with printed or digital books?

Audio books are really great for anyone who works at home and needs to multi task. You won't always have time to read a book. But you could always listen as you work.

Absolutely correct, it fits on the person who is working on something and wants to read books and be relaxed or comfortable at the same time. Totally good for a busy person.

I listen to audio books as I'm commuting to work and it makes my trip so much more pleasant. Now I have a one hour drive to and from my job. It was not this way a year ago. I'm so thankful for the audio books to listen to or I would be very bored.

I always walk long distances, so, audio books are a good way to fight boredom and learn something along the way.

There are no problems with audibles. It just different strokes for different folks. It all depends on what works better for anyone.Like now I prefer Ebooks now than hardback books. So if you like audiobooks then go for them.

I've seen the adds too, and got the curiosity about it too. The closest thing to this, that I can remember, is when I was a kid, and my aunts and granny used to listen to radio stories, like radio novelas or radio soups. I used to think they were way too much dramatic, but of course, drama was the main point of those. Maybe a horror, suspense story may sound great that way.
