I would prefer to rent one rather than buy one, it's too expensive and in my country the taxes are huge people who live in appartement and who live on free home

but the rent is too expensive you should pay all your life for rent nothing compaire to buy your own comfort home

Here in Greece we pay more money in taxes if we own a home and lower price for renting a home. lol.
Not worth here, if there are no taxes then yes go for it people who live in appartement and who live on free home.
Also count the money needed to buy the house, divide it by how many rents/taxes you will pay and check if it is worth or not people who live in appartement and who live on free home.
It doesn't worth to build an old one, if you do try to find a good one that someone sells for cheap people who live in appartement and who live on free home

I am living in our own house with my family. My house is not so big that of a costly apartment, but we are happy.

There is no tension about rents and all other neighbourhood issues. Living in our own house is always a feel good experience.

I live in my workplace so I can use its accommodation by paying less than 6 dollars a month for water and electricity. We don't have that really good salary but it is sufficiently enough to support my self and my family at home and save something regardless of how small it us for my future. My girlfriend and I tried renting an apartment for a month or two so we can have a place to stay at weekends but the cost is not that really affordable as you keep on paying for the room but you're not gonna have it in the future so we had to stop and pack our things. What we plan though is find a nice home that we can pay monthly with our salary and being able to live with in the future, maybe apply for a loan with lowest possible payment.

I've never lived in an apartment before and the idea of that doesn't get me too excited as I always lived in a regular house. I guess it is a matter of getting used to it. I know a lot of people living in apartments and they are happy somehow. I'm an animal lover and I like to have pets but I know this can cause some problems if you live in an apartment, that's the other thing that doesn't get me too excited about this idea.

I'd like to own my own home if I can afford it. It gives one peace and quiet knowing that you answer to no one in terms of paying rent. You can stay a whole year without bothering one bit. But to those living in a rented apartment like myself, one would probably have to make do with what he or she could afford.

It's not the best of experience living in a rented apartment but you certainly don't have any choice because you can't really afford to buy your own house. But hopefully, in no distant time, if all things being equal I would have my own house soon.

I hate living in apartments for many reasons. Firstly you don't have any privacy. There will always be people prying their noses in your business. The second disadvantage is a lack of space. For example when I was still studying I used to live in a flat. Whenever my friend used to come to stay at my place we used to have some space problems. Another disadvantage is that you can't have your garden.

I have never lived in an apartment. I have always lived in my own house.I have lived briefly in a rented house, though. Since I have never lived in an apartment, I don't know how it's like living there. In my home country apartment in a good location cost as much as a house, therefore, buying an apartment does not save you money here. I think having your own house is better than living in an apartment. IF you want to do a modification, you can easily do on your own house, resale value is also higher for your house.
