I hate spiders

I don't' really hate spiders. I know they do an awesome job of keeping the environment rid of pests and bugs and other creepy crawly things. And, they are essential for the environment. I don't mind spiders doing their own thing, so long as they mind their business and stay in a corner far away from me. The only thing that bothers me about a spider, is if it suddenly runs up over my arm. If that happens, I might squish the spider, just on instinct. Later, I would be regretful, knowing the spider didn't mean any harm. :/

Where we live, there are lots of spiders because it's more of a country setting. And, this is just something you learn to live with. If a spider runs over me in my sleep, that would startle me and I'm sure I would wake up very quickly.

My wife sprays the corners of each room with a mix of vinegar and water and swears that it keeps the spiders away. You might try that idea if you have spiders in the house. And, yes they can bite, so there is something to be afraid of.

It's possible your fear of spiders dates back to when you were a baby or young child as that is when most phobias start. If a spider bit you at that age, you would now fear spiders and not understand the basis of your feelings.

My cat chases spiders if he sees them and jumps up at the wall. I haven't seen too many lately so I'm assuming he ate them all. I hate spiders

When I was eight years old, a spider bit me and caused my arm to go into paralysis for about an hour. I was in intense pain. If I don't like spiders now, there is good reason.

Spiders don't bother me so much as fleas. Growing up, we lived near the woods so there were plenty of those along with mosquitoes.

I don't like any kind of insects except more exotic pet varieties. Though I don't own any currently.

There are many misconceptions about spiders such as how they are all dangerous due to the way they look. But most spiders will leave you alone if you leave them alone. That is true for most animals that don't' seek humans out.

Isn't there a brown recluse spider? That's supposed to be very dangerous and it is highly aggressive and hides in places you might actually disturb it such as in garages and cellars where you have to go on occasion.

I was watching an episode of Man, Woman, Wild on Netflix and they were on a survival expedition and had to get logs to create a wind break. And, a brown recluse spider came crawling out of one of the logs. This spider is very toxic and loves to burrow away in logs and dark places. You should be very careful when handling foilage and logs and any natural material outdoors as this is where they live. Though maybe only prevalent in some parts of the country and world, still a danger.

And, this is why I don't like camping. Though I'm assuming they are not in my part of the country. Though you never know what type of spiders or bugs lurk in dark woods.

Spiders are not the worst thing you can have in your home. Other vermin such as roaches can cause asthma or even disease if allowed to stay in your home. The spiders could take care of that problem.

Very lucky! We live in a country like setting just outside the nearest city (not too far) but still we have spiders that get into the house. It's a part of country life. I prefer living here than directly in the city as it's so peaceful I hate spiders

the little spiders dont bother the peacful spiders that lives in house , if i found one i kill it and i appoligize lol redicilous

aww! That's neat!
I would likely do same. I hate spiders

yes you are lucky you live outside the city i live in city very crappy living here alot of noise specially the child noise that makesme sick i wish to live outside city

Some years back, I lived near Tampa Florida, which is a huge metropolitan city. Many people love living there, but the rental and home prices are insanely high and the traffic is awful. I had planned to move there from my hometown area and as we drove through it was just so big and noisy, we decided to keep moving on down the road and ended up in a much smaller town about fifty miles south. The little hometown atmosphere of these little towns outside the big city is so much more peaceful. Very little traffic; nice people; safe area. The place I am now is very much like that. You could leave the door unlocked here and return to find yo ur property safe. Not that I would, though I'm sure my door has accidentally been left unlocked at least once living here and no harm happened. So much better to live either in the country or in a small town. It's ideal! I hate spiders

Spiders gives me the creep, I'm not comfortable having them in my home. They look very nasty and evil to me, I wonder how someone would feel comfortable having a spider as a pet. Anyways I understand individual differences, one man food, is another man's poison. So therefore, I have nothing against any that choose it as a pet. It's his life and his decision but I wouldn't want any Spiders coming near me because I will squash it in an instant.

So, if you are spider lover and we are friends, I advice that you keep your spider away from me otherwise I'm killing it in a heart beat.

I know spiders are important and without them we would have many more mosquitos and flies. I don't like them though. The small, thing ones that sometimes appear at home I am not afraid of. I don't like spiders that are bigger and I am absolutely disgusted by them. I don't even like killing them because I am afraid they would jump on me.

I don't hate spiders, but i do hate hairy ones or the venomous ones. I love seeing them crawl in the wild though with all the colors.
