    Happy Fourth of July to everyone celebrating. Hope your Independence Day is filled with good times, family and fun. If you are celebrating today, what are your plans or if the day is past, how did you spend it?

    It's raining here, so no BBQ cookouts. :/

    I don't like being outdoors in the heat, even on holiday. So, I stayed in the solitude of my studio apartment and painted for awhile. Then went out after dark with friends and enjoyed the fireworks displays.

    It rained here all afternoon on Fourth of July :/
    So no cook outs for us. Still was a fun relaxing day.

    I never knew 4th of July is Independence Day in America. I'm using this opportunity to wish all the citizens that celebrated a happy independence day and pray that the nation continues to live in peace and harmony.

    Truly, I'm amazed on how days of week makes little or no headlines in a country but turns out to be a great day in the history of another Country.

    To think tank 4th of July is a great day in the history of America never would have crossed my mind but I'm quite glad that I got to find out now.

    Well, I think it is all about publicity. If there is enough publicity of the important days in history in many top countries, I don't see any reason we won't have heard of it for long.

    Funny, I wasn't aware that the independence of America was on 4th of July, so to this effect I do wish you all Americans in the platform a lovely and joyous happy independence day. Over here in Nigeria, ours is 1st October and it just passed few weeks ago.
