If you were going to create your own gift basket

I would like to create a gift basket for my sister's house warming (as she has recently purchased a new home with her husband). I could just buy a gift basket, but think this might be a nice choice. What should I include in the gift basket?

Kitchen utensils, new towels, maybe a gift card to a home place so if they need to get paint or materials to fix up the house they can.

I believe since it a new house and they might not have gotten some artefacts you can get some pieces for them.it will aid in the decoration of the sitting room.

A cheese and wine basket might be really nice as a 'welcome home' gift.

Yes Beverly that does sound delightful. Simple yet elegant.

This is an old question, but if ever you still need one, you will never go wrong with wine, cheese, biscuits and chocolates.

It depends on what they really want. I would suggest you ask them about what they might need to avoid putting some gifts that might not be useful to their new home.

It's a thing of celebration, so therefore a good bottle of wine and pizza would get everyone at the house opening in a frenzy mood.

If you have more cash to buy her others little house property, specifically kitchen utensils, it would really be a good idea. Congratulations to you sister on her new house, it's really a nice achievement.

Well, I don't know what are your sister preferences, but I guess that a good present for a new house would be a painting, a framed picture, something she can use in the kitchen or her husband can use to repair the house.
You must know them better on what they like or what exactly they need in their new house, anyway I think that any present from you will be appreciated!

For your sisters house warming then a fruit or any other house utensils would probably do, like every thing that can be use on a house must be a perfect gift or things to include on a basket. If you were going to create your own gift basket

Wine, towels, picture frames--the usual. If you want something different, you could go around their local restaurants and get them cards or coupons for the local cuisine.
