How do you ship your gift items?

Whenever possible, I like to order directly from an online store and ship directly to the recipient. Most sites will take the time to wrap and include a gift card with personalized inscription for the person receiving the gift. And, this service saves me a trip to the post office. How do you ship your gifts?

Shipping direct is a good option, especially if the person lives at a distance. Otherwise, I would just have the item shipped to my home first.

I like to have it shipped right from the place that I am ordering from. Then I am not paying double shipping on it.

Shipping gifts offer you convenience and saving of stress of having to deal with delivering such commodities by yourself especially if the distance is over far magnitude.

The only thing you should look out for is a great online shop that offers quality shipping service, I would recommend Amazon or eBay. These two would give you the best deal for your money.

Your choice is good but I think is more expensive than mine. Most of the time I offer the gifts in person but if this is impossible I choose to sent them by postal service, it is true that the time length until the gift will be received is higher but for this never happen I always put the gift sooner at the postal service than usual and the gift will reach to destination on time, and this method cost less than 2 dollars for any destination in my country!

I love it shipped to the person but I had an experienced where what I bought wasn't what was shipped and I somehow found out and it took pretty long to get back what I really needed for the person and it was quite embarrassing,so now I get to ship it first to my home, before shipping it to my recipient that way I'm sure of what is being shipped.

I always ask for reviews on those shipping companies and of course the availability in your area. Basically I look for a cheaper one with a good reputation and i read feedback's a lot from forums to help me pick the type of shipping company that i will choose.
