Weed eater electric or gas?

We all have to deal with the dandelions, weeds and grass in those hard to reach places around the edges of your house. My question to you guys is would you rather use a electric weed eater or a gas powered one? We own both and i prefer a gas eater than electric. My electric one needs a cord and gets caught on things around the property. Sometimes as i'm doing the lawn the cord will come lose and power off my machine. Whoever invented electric yard tools didn't give it much thought. My gas machine just goes its so easy to start i'm not dragging around a long cord and i don't have to worry about it turning off on me due to no electric. I think maybe if my property wasn't so big it would be easier to use electric. Anyway what do you guys use? What works best with your lawn and why?

I agree about the gas powered one. It does seem like it is easier to bring around the yard rather than the electric one with the cord constantly getting snagged on something or someone! LOL

I think all our gas powered lawn equipment works best for our property because we have a decent amount of lawn and yard space.

I would always choose a gas powered weed eater or lawn mower. I have found that firstly the electric ones are not as powerful and often give more problems.

Then the electric one you also have to work with a cord. Often you need an extension lead too and then you also have to change plugs inside as you move around the garden. What a pain in the ass!

Personally I think I would be preferring gas powered over electric weed eater just because of the obvious reason. It's less stressful to use, and the use of light/power in operating the electric weed eater is another disadvantages that would deter me from choosing it.

Here, always have light problems so if I should be waiting for power to actually be able to have my lawn grasses cut, by the time I have adequate power supply to be able to do this, the grasses might have even over grown the house.

I have a house in the country where my wife and I recently moved. My wife is very fond of taking care of the surrounding area and cleaning weeds, she boldly hung on me. I am a very emotional person, and sometimes I just blow the roof on small things, so that without buying from here https://weedsmart.net/ you just can not do. I just hate this long wire from the electric weedeater, it constantly clings to something and the cable is often pulled out of the socket due to tension. Now I'm thinking of buying a gas Weed eater as I think it will be much more practical.

Definitely electric. I had a gas weed eater, and now I have an electric one and if I had had to compare them, then the electric weed eater is far better than the weed eater that works on gas. Also, you should pay attention to the weed eater string you have. Maybe you didn't know, but there are different weed eater strings, and you should choose the string that fits your needs. I also did not know that there are different strings, but one day, while navigating on a forum, I stumbled on this site https://trimthatweed.com/best-weed-eater-strings/, and after checking it I realized what was the causes of the problems I had with my weed eater.
