Almost time for Hibachi again whats your special outing?

Well its almost time for us to go back to Ichiro hibachi again. My kids have not been in a long time but when they did go they loved it. When the guy comes out and he throws his cooking tools in the air and starts the fire its amazing. The sake rice wine is awesome and they often have competition with the table to see who can drink the most sake. I usually order the filet mignon and shrimp with pork fried rice and friend ice cream for desert.

If you never been to one of these kind of restaurants you really need to go and enjoy a eating experience unlike any other. The food is amazing the service is always grade A. Some places will actually give you your meal for free if its your birthday. Just bring a copy of your photo ID and your golden just by your drinks and eat well.

Below i wanted to share a video of a place in New York thats very popular:

What do you guys do for special occasions? Have you ever been to one of these restaurants? Would you ever go to one? Check it out and let me know im very interested to hearing your thoughts on this.

I LOVE HIBACHI!!!! and yes we need to find one close to us ASAP, because now i want some!! LOL i remember we used to go to a Hibachi place all the time. we have taken the kids there a few times and they are so intrigued by the "show" the chef puts on, its great! and of course there is always something for the adults....SAKE! just take lots of shots of sake and you dont even have to buy your own drinks. LOL that stuff is so strong! although the prices per plate can be a bit much but you get so much food and pretty much get a little comedy with it as well. every Hibachi place i have been too, the chef is always very funny and makes the experience a lot more memorable!

they make you so much food and cook everything to the way you like it, we end up coming home with half of every ones plate!!!! which is great because then theres left overs for the next day. i love how they start you off with the soup and then the little bowl of salad and then your meal. i have always wondered what kind of dressing they use because it is always so good. i would love to try and make it myself and have it on hand at home!! LOL

Well i hear those guys make booku bucks doing this too. I heard they make upwards to $25 dollars or more per hour plus tips. Sake shots and competing to see who can drink more is a great way to drink for free yes i agree! All of those wonderful nights of Sake. The price per plate is a bit pricey but if you consider everything you get it is really worth the trip every time. When me you and Jayla wen to hibachi it was 68-80 bucks tip included which is not bad considering its high class dining. When we go to Chili's or another chain joint it costs about 50-60 bucks so for a few bucks more you get the show and the free Sake! Eating a full meal getting full plus being able to take food home for the next day is exactly why i love to go to hibachi.

I will find one near us but im pretty sure its about 2.5 to 3 hours away. The good news is that we travel to CT once a month so we could always hit the old spot up. I would like to go without the kids though so maybe after we could hit the bar across the street!?!? These days are long gone but hey maybe we could get grandma to babysit and we can relive the glory days. We should find some recipes and also some flat top stoves and check to see if its possible to get one ill be the hibachi man. I don't know if i could throw eggs up in the air or start fires without burning the house down but hey i can give it a try!

Wow, that is a very good and interesting restaurant for someone to have a special moments at, something like an engagement outing, marriage proposal, or even birthday celebration. I have been to places like such here in Nigeria, we have quite a few places of such class.

I would love to be in this place you talked about and posted a clip about but I just know it's just a wishful thinking because the possibility of achieving such endeavors is almost impossible as a result of distance and financial aspect of it.

We do have similar places here in my country but the food prepared by this chef seems to be tastier. He is so skilled and confident. The only problem with this type of restaurant is that the food is really expensive. That's why to go to these restaurants only occasionally. I hope that I get to visit the US one day and have a nice meal at Ichiro hibachi. I am feeling hungry after watching this wonderful video and maybe I must go grab something to eat. lol
