My three girls LOVE oranges and clementines, mostly those little Halos or Cuties ones. My husband and I actually really like them too! The only thing i do not like about these, is i end up having to "start" or peel their whole clementine. If i just start it, i end up with peels all over the place especially from the little stubborn 2 year old!! LOL So i just peel it for them and hand it back, this snack hack will be so cool and i bet all three girls will love it!!

1. First cut off each end of the clementine, not too much you don't want to cut into the skin.
2. Cut a slit down the clementine and gently roll the clementine stretched out in a strip.
3. Thats it, now just peel each piece off the peel and throw the peel out!

This is going to work so much better for all the girls and probably will be way less messy as far as the little pieces of peels everywhere! LOL I will post pictures of each step once I can! Thank you you for reading everyone!!

That tip is really great, thanks for it. When I was at college, I used to eat lunch at Central food court, so guys never had time to gently peel off an orange or clementine, well, they used to make a little cut on the peel, then get a spoon inside between the peel and the fruit, and move the peel off the fruit. Super easy and quick.

Thanks for this tip! I have never heard about this way of peeling a clementine and when I buy some I will definitely try it. The way you can see the pieces of the fruit is really satisfying and it's relatively easy to do it.

I used to cut my clementine In four peaces and eat them one by one or waste time peeling them, now I know how to deal with them properly.

This post is really interesting and time saver. I opened a clementine in a different way, and I was always had juice on my hands. Your method is easier and cleaner.
