What's the greatest challenge/mission you ever faced as a gamer

Hello, my elite gamers, what's the greatest challenge you have ever faced since you started gaming.
Mine was GTA sandandres, the helicopter(chopper) mission of droping bombs on four places in the building without being detected by the security guards Lol. this mission fustrated the hell outta me and the worst part is that the control of the chopper is almost the revise of virtual control, in the mission you will need both your body, spirit and soul to be align in the magnetic grid with your mind to aviod any form of distraction and aid immediate alacrity to decode motion signals and act fast on it.
That mission is the best way to test the patience of a gamer.
So guys what's your greatest challenge or mission you have ever faced.

I don't think my most difficult challenge was one specific instance, but rather an overarching period of time. Essentially, I think the largest hurdle I had to overcome as a gamer was to get a hang of the game League of Legends. I'd never played a MOBA until I played League, and I was unfamiliar with all of the facets of the game. My brother started teaching me how to play, and I found it incredibly time intensive in learning the different roles (top, mid, jungle, support, ADC), what items to build and how to alter your build path depending on the enemy's build, how to take objectives, last hit minions, and play the game in general.

There was so much to the game that I though I'd never learn it all. To be honest, I still haven't learned everything to the best of my ability, but I understand the game far better than I did several years ago.

Haha, I remember that mission as well. For me, the most challenging out of GTA: San Andreas was the flight school though. I don't know if you remember where you had to fly through the circles? It took me so long to complete all.

But my all time hardest gaming challenge was definitely a boss in Dark Souls 3 called Darkeater Midir. I think that it took me around 60-70 tries to beat that dumb dragon. Once I even got him down to one hit away from death but he killed me before.

If you just look at a picture of it you will see what I mean.

Dark souls require gamers to think and learn the mechanics to play with a degree of skill, which is something beyond the scope of many gamers. Its difficulty is overstated but it will be really difficult iif you try to rush or don't bother learning the necessary skills.

Oh god, the damned flight school. The game controls were so terrible that it became an unreasonably hard task to go through the circles, in all honesty, I used slow-mo cheats to get over that mission. I was tired of wasting my time with it. Congrats on getting it done the legit way, man! Also the "Follow the damn train" mission deserves a mention. Smoke is probably the most useless piece of junk allied NPC in the history of gaming

My greatest challenge is to play and up my rankings on MOBA. Dota 2 is a punishing game and it does not help at all to get toxic and uncooperative teammates. It is hard to depend on the team to win a multiplayer game causing plenty of uncomfortable and unforgettable moments. The fact that some people are not trying to win is a core problem when it comes to ranked matchmaking.

My greatest challenge or the greatest, rather, would be handling a guild and a forum all together. I am playing this game before and I was one of the pioneers in one of the strongest guild on the server and I really had my hands full during those times. From in game interactions to forum moderations and planning of guild events, it's very hectic. But the result is really satisfying.

I get you. It is pretty tiring to be a guild leader as it is like a hands-on job. You need to manage people and resources besides ensuring the right decisions be taken. I have done this long ago when I was studying. I doubt I will be able to commit so much time now so I took a break from MMORPGs.

What game are you talking about by the way? But yeah, that is one of the reasons that I have never wanted to be a guild leader - I had a few opportunities and I was an officer but I just never wanted to be the boss. It's a HUGE responsibility having to lead everybody and handle things. If there's any drama, it's up to you to resolve it. It can be quite time-consuming and stressful. I am glad that you're finding it satisfying! Some people are naturally good at being leaders so maybe you're one of them What

The game is called World of Warcraft. I have never wanted to be one too but if anyone doesn't want to either then sometimes you would just have to take the responsibility yourself. I am not the original guild leader though, I was just an officer once but then, the leader had to take a break so he left me his guild during his absence. It's really hard specially assigning reliable and trustworthy raid leaders. Some are even ninjas and would just leave if they get what they want. Lol

Killing Zeus in God of war I've forgotten the name of the part it's like “Chain pf Olympus ”, when you have to climb at the back of an eagle, attacking Zeus and the worst part is that you Will have to use the analog control, and i was really poor at that, took me some days before i got past that mission

I was expecting to see something about Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and I wasn't disappointed lol. I know that a lot of people complain about that remote-controlled helicopter and the other mission where CJ has to follow the train. I've never actually played San Andreas (well the story) so I don't know how challenging it actually is. I have the remastered version on PlayStation 4 but I just don't play it much. For me, the biggest challenge was that torture mission in Grand Theft Auto V. That was difficult for me because of that bit where you had to pull the guy's tooth out with a wrench. I was fine with the other things but I have really not good with anything involving the removing of teeth.

The most difficulty I had playing video games was when I played the older games where there were no save states. I was using an emulator so I could have just easily used that to save the game but I felt I would be cheating by doing that and also in the process ruining the experience as it was first intended. Because of that, however, I was never able to finish the game, so I am considering someday going back to it and just using the save state feature. I could at least say I tried, and I feel I would be spending too much time trying to get a perfect run on it anyway.

Oh wow, that sounds awful. That would definitely be extremely difficult and I'm not sure how I could manage to have to start a game over from the start everytime I wanted to play it. Imagine if the games that we have now were like that. It would just be so horrible.

There was a boss in Dark Souls 2 that absolutely broke me on a psychological and spiritual level, and I wish I was exaggerating. I believe he was called the Demon of Song. Now I am not new to the Dark Souls series, and the first Dark Souls is actually one of my favorite games of all time. I know they're supposed to be hard, but something about the bosses in Dark Souls 2 is far different than that of those in Dark Souls 1, 3, and Demon's Souls. They just seem so incredibly unfair, and Demon of Song was no exception. Now, yes this guy killed me upwards of thirty times, but that is something I can deal with. What broke me was the fact that just getting to the boss was a nightmare of it's own. I was all out of healing items by the time I got to this guy because the way they arranged the NPCs in Dark Souls 2 was stupidly unfair, especially on the long path to this boss.

I hate that game so much. It wasn't hard like Dark Souls 1 and 3, it was just ridiculously unfair. I finished it once, and never want to see it again.

I am by no means an elite gamer, but I would say that completing all of the quests in Skyrim was the toughest longterm gaming task which I had ever accomplished. Also, I agree the God of War has some pretty tough bosses and challenges to overcome. I haven't played Dark Souls, but that sounds like it would be a bit frustrating.

Trying to kill the Dark Aeons and Penance in Final Fantasy X. Even though I maxed out my stats (all of them, and believe me it took a while), they still hit like a truck and frankly, are cheaters. It's so ridiculous how powerful they were with their insta-KO moves, taking 3-5 turns before you can even move, having an absolutely ridiculous stat like defense and luck that when you tried to hit them (at max luck and accuracy stats yourself), you'd miss.

I ended up "cheating" the system. There's an Aeon in the game that sometimes would OHKO (one hit knock out) an opponent, and would just try to reload the game in order to use that move. I feel kind of dirty playing the game this way, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get all the trophies....

Back in the day when I was using windows XP, I played a game called Doom 3 and it was really challenging.
I could not get to the last level of the game and it became frustrating.
Even to this day, I can't finish it because I need a version of the windows XP or worse so I can't play it anymore.
One of the best games of my childhood for sure and really fun to play with friends as well.

I played half life 1, that game really a hard code brutal scenes. Every scene had a blood effect which traumatized a player specially a child. I just continue playing the game. We feel ourselves a bad ass when we finish the game in our own, back then we don't reply on Internet forum to defeat the enemy. I was 8 years old back then, and my brother invited me to play the game.
The most hard part to play in half life was the first scene of the game most scientist create a portal died due to the sabotage of alien. It was really a hard core game. I thought we will be trap in the first scene of the game. Some things also will be witnessing scientist massacred by aliens below underground laboratory.

My greatest challenge I faced in game is when playing support role in this multiplayer game DOTA2. When I'm playing this game with my friends It will end up supporting them. It's not easy to support those cancer players. Asking tango, wards, stack neutrals and more. If you're a DOTA player you can relate to this. I think it is so challenging because you have to be patient and at the same time be good to them even they're trash players. HAHAHA.

As for me, I remember having a hard time back when I still have my PS1. I remember playing Bloody Roar 2 where I was trying to defeat each character without being defeated so that I can go to special stage where you can fight Gado: the lion. Now that I mentioned it, I miss my PS1. T.T

--The greatest challenged I faced as a gamer was to finish Mario 3 in one day. It literally took me a whole day. That was when I was in elementary. I wanted to really challenge myself so I didn't use any cheat. I did not use the item that makes Mario fly. There's not fun in doing that. I wanted to go through Koopa and his hordes fair and square. My brother actually challenged me to do that and I was able to. My eyes were so sore after that that I didn't play computer for a few days.

We'll for me my greatest challenged is completing mission in a game called crossfire. This is an online type of game where you fight with another player by firing guns and killing them. It is a lot of pressure because you must complete your mission with a sudden amount of time for a reward as well as killing your opponent with a user on it. They are also clever because it is not the computer controlling your opponent but also a man with brains. So it is a very big challenge cause as a gamer you must overcome your opponent's tactics with the use of your brain.

I always play dota2 and my biggest challenge/mission I faced is when my team join our first tournament that's a big challenge for me. I am the captain of the team so I take big responsibility of the team. As a captain I'm the one who will draft heroes we will use and the one who will call play's for team's play. At the end of the tournament we end up third and that's a good thing for us who first time to join dota2 tournament. For me that's the biggest challenge I faced.

The greatest challenge that i ever faced in a game is to rank to Gold Nove 2 in CSGO. I started from Silver Elite and I ranked up to Gold nova 1 but I always get demoted then after few games, I will rank up again and it became a sequence of my CSGO life. It is so hard to be a noob. What

Finishing the whole pokemon list is very hard. Not to mention the legendary ones. Well but I did it with pokemon yellow though. Gotta catch them all that's what I think when I was playing this game. Oh the good old days when you and Pikachu wandering around the routes and running back and forth till get that specific pokemon. Even tried catching missing number too.

If the hardest mission you've ever faced is not the mini helicopter one in GTA: Vice City then you are lying. That's a mission made by Satan's spawns and it was the most annoying thing ever. The only plus side to it is that you don't have to repeat a whole level when you fail, because that's usually the most annoying thing in games. I seriously dislike failing a level just to have to play it all over again. I also haven't played Dark Souls, but I am pretty sure that the mission in GTA is hell.

For me, it was Dino Crisis. I played when I was 9 and I remember the game was known for its puzzles and survival horror settings. I loved it but cracking those letter puzzles was almost impossible! Nevertheless, when I finally did it, it made me feel like I had just done a big thing.

Exactly the game that gave me tough time, but mine Grand Theft Auto Vicecity. It took me several days and constant practice before perfecting how to use and navigate the chopper. Mine was also the mission that involved using of the chopper. Sometimes I had to call on my brothers to help me pilot the chopper yet still we couldn't pass it.

In my case I think it's not a mission. It's a challenge, I am playing DOTA 2 so my challenges is to win every game or every worst game What DOTA 2 player's goal is to have higher MMR (Match Making Rank) it is so hard to gain MMR when you are low MMR because a lot of toxic player and maybe some of the newbies are playing in low MMR bracket. A frustration, anger all of the negative vibes you can mention. So it is so challenging to us as DOTA plyer to get a damn MMR like for example situation is that my/our team mate is weak or newbie or a thrower of the game and with that behaviour your game can be ruined and you will be lose the game and your MMR will be deducted. So that's why DOTA 2 is a challenging game for me and maybe I still love it even though I feel frustration sometimes but I have fun playing DOta

I always sucks at being the hitter or killer while playing moba games. Whenever I used heroes that specializes in killing, my team almost all of the time, lost. I'm good at being the support or the tank of the group, and I am really proud of it. I am always the toughest tanker in the game whenever I play and I can win the best support award, when I'm the support. I just wanted for at least a few times, be the one killing the enemies, but when I am trying, their the one who's succeeding in killing me. So, if I am just playing with my friends for just passing the time, I always try to be the killer one but If the game becomes serious, I always do what I'm good at.

I played Online games only. In all Online games I played before, i found the greatest challenged as a gamer in Naruto Online. It's a MMORPG based on the episodes of Naruto Anime. At first, It is not that hard to level up and develop your build in game. But as the game level goes deeper , the competition comes. Free 2 play over Pay 2 win. In mid level pay 2 win players will destroy you, because they are ahead in terms of equipment and gears. Even if your the same level the top up method of the game prioritizing the play 2 win players will make you dig hard to be able to compete to them without spending. That's the problem of Online games. Pay 2 win always ahead of you.

I definitely won't forget my struggles in completing level 14 in Front line Commando I played. I think I replayed this level for more than 2 weeks before I was successful in competing it.

The level came with lots of rebels trooping in with armoured trucks armed with 50 caliber and also an assault helicopter above me with just 2 health pack and no means to call in air support. This stage gave me hell, as I almost quit playing the game but as a died hard gamer, I vowed to successfully complete the mission and I did.

I can't think of one certain mission but I always find it the most difficult to start a game...I have to figure out what to do, how everything works and what the mission is. Sometimes it takes me a lot of time because I'm not someone who plays a lot of games so I don't have much experience.

My only problem is when you almost won and the newbies go afk, but still you have to carry the game. I should mention lag too since i played games with lag and luckily i won. There are a lot of instances that i'm lucky i can get away with while gaming like having an old mouse as a back up when everything goes wrong while gaming.

The greatest challenged i faced as a gamer is to defeat my opponent in dota which have a higher MMR than me. I just want to prove that it doesn't depend on the MMR count it depends on your performance during the live gaming. This game really test my skills and way of thinking how to overcome opponents and how to defend your base. Everytime i play online with higher MMR it motivates me to do more and to show my skills which would create best strategies to win the team play to receive a higher rank.

In every game that I probably had played on, the hardest part of it are on the final missions or killing the boss where I need to fight the biggest and strongest monster on the last stage. I did remember playing this game which is also my favorite, it's called the Devil May Cry 4 where all the monsters are creepy, and probably the last boss always gave me a hard time finishing him or killing him off.

Me too i am having difficulties also when it comes to defeating of boss in every game. It is very challenging and needs a focus in mind together with typing speed. It is either in cellphones or computers games, they are both challenging for me. Some tasks also that are given for a mission is quite difficult to overcome. It really test your patience, ability and so many other brain activities. The games are very helpful in terms also of awareness and preparedness.

I think home sweet home has some of the levels which are nothing but creepy. I have had my share of the fear while playing that game. I am just trying to understand a lot of things in the level. It seems like lot of what appears to be woodoo and witchcraft gone wrong. And it is kind of scary to play such game.

I faced my greatest challenge in Dark Souls. This game was quite difficult and I think that it was because of the difficulties in the secret places. I remember the times when I've played for the best times, however, later, I've noticed the difference between the World of Warcraft. This game has taught me that it's better to go on the work and I believe if there wasn't a https://wowcarry.com/dungeons service that can boost the dungeons.. Me and my friends sometimes using such an option and actually we are grateful to such a thing..

I played a lot of games and I would like to mention that only those where it was hard to complete a certain mission seemed interesting and attractive to me. When I just read the title of the thread, the first image I had in my mind was related to GTA SAN Andrés and exactly the same mission with the helicopter. Well, in the last period I prefer other games, but at the time GTA San Andrés seemed the most interesting for me. Now I prefer Diablo 2, especially after stumbling on this site yesgamers.com and finding out how to buy different items.
