How much would you pay for handcrafted item?

If I were going to an arts and crafts fair, I would expect to pay more money for a homemade craft item. These handcrafted items always take more time to create than anything you would buy from online or in a store. Though sometimes, you can find online sites that sell homemade crafts and the prices are very expensive there too. What price would you pay for a handcrafted item?

Depends on the quality of the work and what materials are used. And how much I liked the product.

For something I could not do, I would pay more, such as for handbeaded jewelry which I don't specialize in. I would not paying for a beautifully hand knitted sweater or one that is crocheted as that takes so much time and effort. And, though I love to crochet, I don't have time for such elaborate work, though i still love to enjoy the finished product.

I would pay more for something that is high quality. If it was something that was neat, or shown that a lot of time was put into it, I would be willing to pay more.

I love art work a lot especially ones that are of obscene pattern or nude art. So with regards to this, I think I would likely pay more for nude or obscene arts than any other kind of handcrafted item.

It's just the way I am, I love such kind of craft, call me creepy if you want, it's not going change anything. Such arts are really different to come by in my opinion, so I believe that it should be a little costly to procure such art.

It's a general knowledge that any commodity that is lower in supply tend to be costly. So I would be reasonable enough to pay more for that kind of crafts.

Well, it depends on the items used to make such item. I wouldn't mind buying it at an expensive price if I notice that it is of high quality.

Well, it usually depends on the quality and the effort for making it. I wouldn't actually mind if it's high of a price as long as it's a good and awesome and somewhat like vintage type or theme then I would go for it at any price. How much would you pay for handcrafted item?

I think what makes the handcrafted items which are sold online to be expensive is their high demand, cost of production and quality. I noticed the handcrafted items cost less when I purchase directly from the person who made them.

When the items move from one person to another like middlemen or sellers, then the price will always be higher.

If it is a quality item then it will definitely be sold at a higher price and in this case, if I really like the item then I will be willing to pay the high price. However, I noticed that at times some sellers sell their handcrafted items at exorbitant prices. At times there is also some kind of price discrimination. In such cases, I don't usually buy the items.
