What's your favorite brand of craft paint?

I've been a long time fan of Plaid Craft and Acrylic Paint for home decorating and crafting projects and always use this brand when decorating for Easter or Christmas. The colors are vibrant and true and always provide the winning results that I want for my craft projects.

Usually we have just Crayola water paints and other washable paints for the children, nothing that would stain the carpet. Maybe later they can have Plaid or some type of acrylic.

Me too but acrylic paints are the best for me but the normal paint seems a more easy and has definitely a good vibe for me to use. But, it really depends on the artist or one who would create his own piece of art.

I have used several brands, and I really do not have a favorite brand. I like the acrylic paint, and usually get the ones that come in little tubes that you can either use with a paint brush, or right out of the tip of the tubes.
We used to have a brand called “Artex”, and they were ball point paint tubes, and were only meanto to use to paint right directly from the tube. It made a great way to paint a picture; but you had to be really careful to wipe off the ball point tips of the paint tubes, or the paint would dry in the tip, and then the roller ball would not roll, and you could not use that tube to paint with.
They did have replacement ballpoint tips; but it was hard to change the tips, and easy to drip paint all over when you were trying to do that . The Artex came in all kinds of colors, and it was sold by the set, and usually with a kind of paint carousel that all of your paint would faint into.
It was sold like Tupperware (party style) so you could not just buy it at the store, you had to either sponsor an Artex party, or go to one that someone else was having in order to be able to buy the paint; but they also gave lessons when you went to the Artex party, so it was always a fun thing to do.
