I love Halloween Costume and if I am going to attend a Halloween party, I will wear the witch costume. Since I was a child, I have been a fan of witchcraft. I love Harry Potter and I even watched before the TV series " The worst witch". I am not sure if there is anyone who watched this but It was great! I am amazed by how the witch costume looks like. The color black dress with a broomstick is just perfect for me.

I have just seen today a contest for the best in Halloween costume. It amounted to 100,000 pesos for the first prize. I was thinking that the winner should really look like very scary to be the champion.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

superlicca
That price is amazing. But I agree that the winner should be really scary. And I think in that of contest, the judge will also check the creativity of the participants. It is good to attend a Halloween Costume contest since you get to see a lot of different costumes. Honestly, I never tried attending a Halloween contest, I only watch them on TV or Youtube and I am always amazed by witch costumes. I don't like the bloody costumes like Zombie and Vampire. Even if they are fake, I find them disgusting.

I agree with you. I don't like also bloody costumes of zombies and vampires. I also haven't tried joining a Halloween contest. I experienced joining a headdress contest about sea creatures.

Me too. That scene just isn't for me. I'm not scared of good Halloween costumes. But they can be disgusting at times. Especially, if it involves a lot of quality make up and gore. I prefer the more lighthearted ones like fairies and book characters.

Witch costumes are very common during Halloween but it will never be out of style. They are still a trend to many people of different ages.

I would be wearing a Hotel Transylvania's Jonathan-inspired look on a Halloween party. It is because I love how adventurous he is despite the dangers in his adventure. Also, in the first movie movie, he was the only human in the hotel and even after finding out about the monsters, he chose not to leave. He is a representation of people who don't judge others based on their looks.

Oooh I love this movie. i love that you chose to dress up based on his inner character and not just the flair of the costume itself. He indeed is a representation of the great people in the society who are always focused on integration.

I watched that movie too. I loved their costumes there. It was extravagant and all amazing.

Ooh yeaah. A lot of things are done in the modern manner where there are a lot of computer application. I was able to make and maintain a great reputation prior to that.

I watched this movie and I loved it. It is a good idea to choose that kind of costumer. I think you will have the chance to win the best costume award if you attend a Halloween Party.

I bet yes. Wearing same costumes in that movie will make you standout in the crowd. It might give you an award also for Best Halloween Costume.

I'm thinking of buying a Jason Friday the 13th mask to wear this Holloween, I'll pair it with my hockey shirt and some ripped jeans and a toy machete. Time to scare the kids again haha.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

ajahcuizon
I think that would be a great idea. Scaring kids then giving them candies will also be great. Jason Friday is really a scary character, I will never forget that movie. You will really scare a lot of kids on that night. I can't wait for halloween.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I can imagine how that can be scary for kids. Especially, if you time it right. I wouldn't want to be in the presence of Jason. He's really scary since he's one of the few killers who are nearly unstoppable.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
Well, if I'd come across Jason Friday on a Halloween, I would never sit or stand beside him. I would also keep my distance, because who knows. Lol.

Well, I'm not really celebrating Halloween that much, but If you will be asking me on what will I wear, I will wear a pumpkin on my head and I will bring some broom like a witch.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
That's really funny. There was one man in our neighborhood that wore something like that when we celebrated Halloween last year and it was really great for him but it got scary as some of the kids were afraid to come closer to him. It's a choice, but make sure you look quite nice on it as well!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
It's a classic. Having the right props is enough to get you feeling the Halloween vibes. I like how common it is to find brooms and pumpkins as essential costumes and props. We're often left with funny costumes for kids.

But it's okay. Whatever works for us will do. I've seen some of my friends use cheap masks and gimmick vampire fangs. Sometimes you just want to join in without the pressure of standing out.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
That is one funny idea and I like it. I wonder though if you'd be using a real pumpkin. That would be crazy and fun.

I am from Nepal, Nepal is predominantly a Hindu nation, more than 80 percent people are Hindus, about 11 percent people are Buddhist and around 4 percent people are Muslim. Christians form only 3-4 percent of 25 million population. I am a Hindu and I live in a Hindu neighborhood. I don't know anything about Halloween.

I am from the Philippines. During November 1 we are celebrating all soul's day. We remember our dead loved ones.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Remembering the dead is also very important characteristics of Hindu tradition. We have different traditions to remember the dead. One of the common tradition is a 16 days of remembering dead which happens to be some where in September and October. By the way, a Hindu is also sanctioned to perform rituals of the dead ancestors on the day when his parents were dead.

Before that day, residents in subdivision particularly the organization, they usually plan an event like trick or tricks and some neighborhoods designed their houses full of web cobs and halloween designs. Kids also have to stop by in every house. They will be given candies and chocolates.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I really love trick or treats and I enjoyed it when I was a kid. Every kid would love to visit houses and get candies and chocolates. And now that I am an adult, I love giving candies to the kids that go to our house. I always make sure to have a budget for this kind of day. I want to give many candies as I can. Seeing them in their Halloween costumes make them look so cute.

We don't celebrate Halloween, however, we have similar tradition. It is call cow festival when the dead ancestors are remembered, people wear costumes and march on the street. tasking for treat or trick is not the feature of this cow festival, however, we have another festival when people visit houses sing and dance and ask for treats and money.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

superlicca
That is almost similar to our Halloween because people wear costumes too. I believe that you are from Nepal, right? Here in the Philippines, trick or treat is very common. Even at work, malls, or in the village, you will see a lot of kids on their costume with pumpkin and asking for candies or chocolate.

I think dressing up on Halloween is specifically relegated to a few countries. In the US, a Halloween without costumes is unheard of, but I’m not surprised that it’s not known or celebrated in other parts of the world.

I'm from the Philippines and I was born on 80's. When I was a kid I don't remember people in our town celebrates Halloween. I think people in our town just started having Halloween party when it became so popular in TV and social media.

I will not attend any Halloween party but my daughter will. It's not really a party but more of a school program. She planned it already a few months ago. Nothing scary because it is not allowed since she's still in preschool. She'll be going as Ariel of the Little Mermaid. My daughter is so girly so she loves princesses and doesn't like costumes or anything that will make her look ugly.

I agree with you. I will not attend also the Halloween party. I don't like costumes that will make you ugly.

If I am to be asked, I like seeing people at the party wearing scary costumes. You will see their creativity on how they make blood and wound look real even if they only use common facial make ups.

I will definitely wear a whitelady costume. I like it when other people would look at me as if they are confused if I'm really a ghost or not. I find it really fun eventhough I hate scary things because I always got easy to scare to. I can't sleep at night after watching a horror film. But I still appreciate the halloween parties that I had a chance to attend to.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

superlicca
The white lady costume is also great! It is simple and plain white dress but can go a long way at a Halloween party. I think that will be my second option for a costume. You don't need to exert a lot of effort with this costume. Just wear a white dress, loose your hair and other people will just put a lot of powder on their face and that's it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

edencaga
If I were to attend Halloween Party, maybe I would be wearing vampire costume. I will just apply white powder with greyish brown color that will serve as shadow just to make it pale. Actually I really don't have any interest going in a party but if ever that I get force by my friends or family member, maybe that would be a nice suite for me as I am not into that kind of thing. A simple vampire is okay with me.

Regardless i'm pondering what outfit to wear until I affectionate that there is no compelling reason to pick any one. For me, I simply need to decorate the house with basic blurbs or hold any adornment stuff. Though, I want to take photographs for myself with spooky make-up I think that would be fun.

What would be neat is a Deadpool Mask but it cost a lot here unlike a Jason Mask which is quite cheaper. Over the years I've worn a lot of masks during Holloween and one of my faves was a Freddie Krueger Mask I've worn years ago.

Ever since I was a kid I watch the "Halloween" film, Michael Myers always gave me the creeps. And now that I'm all grown up, I want to dress up as Michael Myers scaring little children. I can't wait to see they're faces when I scare the crap out of them. And if they manage to be brave enough and stay put then they will be rewarded with treats by me of course.

We do not celebrate Halloween where I come from. I know people wear fancy clothes. I suggest a dragot costume completely with wings and a big tail. What will miss are the two hearts and breathing fire.

I'm not sure yet. I don't know if I'll even be attending a Halloween party. But I'm thinking of something simple. Maybe something like the phantom of the opera. I don't really like cheesy Halloween outfits. But I guess they could work if everyone else was wearing funny costumes as well.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Halloween isn't something here that adults really get dressed up for - maybe young adults in their late teens and early 20's who are going to Halloween parties, but I'm in my 30's now so it's not really my scene anymore! My kids will probably be dressing up as their favorite Disney characters.

Halloween was a great occasion for me because it is where I can watch some great horror films and most kids are scared during this event since most television are producing some ghost hunting stories which makes it more interesting to watched.I think I would like to wear the Dracula costume since it looks good for me and very frightening at some point. I really like to see some kids being scared by it which makes me feel laugh at sometimes.

I won't be attending any Halloween party this year. However, I would like to wear Jason's costume if I would. I don't have his body build but it would be fun to wear his mask because everybody knows his character from his movies. There's also his game so those players would be able to relate with my costume choice.

Halloween costume parties are really not a thing from where I am from, but I believe a few corporate companies celebrate them. And since I did not get the pleasure of being invited to a Halloween Costume party, I'll be wearing my same old black t-shirt, a pair of shorts, and dirty sandals. Haha!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

EfficientNinja
Agreed. Most corporate companies do go out of their way to have a Halloween party. Employees go to work wearing their costumes and go to work while wearing them.

I guess they'll be asking who you're pretending to be if your costume is a common shirt and sandals. What would you be wearing on Holloween?

- I'll say I'm cosplaying Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark when they become bankrupt and turn dirt poor.

Hahaha. That's cool! I'll try that when I also want to go to work in the most comfortable clothes as possible. We won't be following the company dress code in Halloween parties anyway so we might as well just go to work in comfy clothes.

I love halloween costume parties, but sadly in our country only the kids can have a halloween party, well adult can also have one but different and more boring compare to kid's party. However, if I'm given a chance to attend a costume party I'll dressing up as L from death note.

I love to wear some X-men inspired costume that has blood on my body so that I can scare a lot of kids out there during trick or treat.

Sometimes I miss my glory days when I was still a rank and file employee. We would always have a costume party during Holloween. I worked the graveyard shift back then and I and my officemates would really shop and find good costumes because there's a best in costume price for girls and guys and the last one I've attended gave out $200 or php10000 to the winners. Well I didn't win.

In my 20 years of existence, I haven't attended any holloween costume parties because it is not a thing from where I came from. But if I am given the oppurtunity to attend a holloween costume part, I would like to wear a dracula costume simply because the clothes needed for the costume aren't hard to find and I like wearing capes.

Incidentally I've been trying to figure it out. I have been on Pinterest the whole of this week trying to see what kind of creativity I can come up with. I have just figured out my make up. I have two choices for outfits. I can go as Micheal Jackson or as Pink. For Micheal I will have to do a whole look. I will have to get a curly wig.Pink is easier. All I need to get is a short skirt and pink weave and I'm sorted. Result!

I am not also fan of attending some Halloween parties since I am busy doing different things on that day, but I think in my company we will have a costume party and we will have a chance to win some money and a grocery items which is really great because it will help the activity to be come fun and more interesting.

If ever I do get invited to a Halloween costume party, I'd love to wear a Captain Jack Sparrow costume. With all the beards and tattoos on my hands, and of course the hat. Aye mate!

Well I am not a Christian and I have never dressed up for Halloween but I like to see people dressed up in scary costumes and would enjoy participating in a Halloween party someday. I would like to dress up as a zombie or a vampire maybe and scare the people by making the costume as real as I can. it would be indeed a very enjoyable experience to do something that you have never ever done in your life.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

If I'll be asked to dress up for a Halloween party, I'll mostly likely come as a white lady. It is so easy to find a white dress. I have long hair that I can just comb going to the front to cover my face then a simple eyeliner will do to make my eyes scary. Less effort is needed.

I always love anything that deals with dead costume. So, if I'm going to pick anything to wear during Halloween, it's going to be vampire or zombie costume. My favorite would be vampire costume, they even freak me out, how more when others see it.

I wont be wearing costume this year. I'm afraid I am too old for that. I will just be that "old boring dude" that every dad fears to become (haha pun intended). But this year, my daughter's gonna be wearing a Nemo inspired costume we have seen on Facebook, you know that one with dangling tail as the cute child walks around. We have been wanting to try that and my daughter has just gotten better at walking alone. But since Dory's movie came much recently than Nemo, we decided to go for Dory!

My daughter and I are actually going to a Halloween party tomorrow. She'll be wearing a black cat mask, black clothes, and a black tail. I'll just put on some make-up to look pale and wear ragged clothes to look like a zombie. Halloween is a great bonding time between us parents and our kids. It's the only time we can really look and act silly in public.

I won't be going to a Halloween Party but if I do, I guess I'd wear Captain America's costume or become a Zombie. But if I have to choose only one, that'll be Captain America's costume because I don't want to scare out my neighbors (lol). Making them laugh with my attire would be the best option instead (because I have a belly fat which Captain America doesn't have hahaha).
