    Would you pay more for handmade jewelry?

    I love handmade one of a kind jewelry items, such as those you might find on Etsy. These jewelry pieces are made with such care by the artist. And, though the price is always higher than a mass merchandised jewelry item you would find in a retail shop, it's always worth it.

    If it were a gift for my mother or a loved one, then I would not mind paying more money for a custom piece of jewelry. My family means the world to me so no expense spared for gifts and to ensure they are happy.

    As someone who makes a lot of my own accessories (and other things in general), I understand the amount of time that goes into a handmade piece and therefore can understand the higher cost compared to a store bought, mass produced jewelry item. I rather buy any jewelry from stores because I prefer to wear unique items, often that I've made myself. I do love going to craft fairs and will occasionally buy an accessory piece from someone when I really like it. Though I know it's a higher cost, I also know that it is worth it to help support someone else and their artistic passions.

    I would definitely be willing to pay more for handmade jewelry. Why? because It's handmade therefore it's one of a kind... it's unique. it isn't mass produced. It is made with a lot of effort and love from the crafter. I have bought such jewelry in the past. Both, for myself and for my loved ones and I believe that it's worth a bit higher price.

    You can really find some very skilled artists that make it full-time and the pieces are so incredible... if I could I'd buy them more frequently Would you pay more for handmade jewelry?

    Yes I would pay more for handmade jewelry but it must be special and unique not something that can be found everywhere, the models must be special and look amazing. I also think that handmade jewelry deserves more money because the people who create them are invested not only money and time they invest their feelings as well.

    When I think about jewelry, I always think about precious metal and precious stones. Therefore, I always buy gold jewelry, and I always buy jewelry made from precious stones such as emerald, ruby, Pearl etc. Handmade jewelry is good but I will not consider paying more for the jewelry that does not contain any precious metal and stone. Why would I pay more for a piece of jewelry just because it was handmade.

    I will buy it if it worth the money, why do I work for this money is to be able to afford what I really need and feel the worth of it.I believe handcrafted jewelry last better and are taking time to make than mass made ones.

    It takes more time to make handmade jewelry and the best materials are used to craft them. So, the prices of such items will surely be higher. I will accept to pay a higher price for a quality item. Moreover, handmade jewelry is unique and that's another reason which explains why it is sold at a higher price.
