    What is your favorite audio editing software?

    I have used Audacity software for some easy editing projects. But, the software is very laggy with my computer. Can you suggest others that I might use?

    I have not used Audacity more than a few times, but it seems to have very rich features for a free audio editing software. At this point, I want a video/audio editor 2 in 1 type software, rather than having to deal with separate software for this purpose.

    My favorite is Camtasia, it is very easy to use and very efficient! I love using that to edit videos.

    Adobe Audition is very powerful and I use it all the time. I have heard good things about Audacity and it is free as well but I have never used it as adobe audition is doing a great job for me.

    And, how does Audacity compare to the more expensive Adobe Audition, audio editing software? Is it even nearly as good?

Windows Movie Maker is a free video editing tool for Windows and users can make home movies by simple drag-and-drop. What's more, new effects and transitions can be added and existing ones can be modified using XML code.
