Do you have a favorite color when designing for the web?

I love working in any shade of blue, especially deep blues as it's very soothing and mellow. I like the depth of the color as it appears in high definition on my screen. What are some of your favorite colors when designing graphics or web elements?

Blues are good. I like crimson. My original forum theme was crimson and I really liked that. Beyond that, I love citrus colors but not pastels, unless they are balanced out with richer colors.

Anything simple, especially black and white/monochromatic for a theme or site design. I'm not into colors. I just want to keep the emphasis on the site content not the theme. Though I can appreciate a well designed theme, my focus is not on colors.

I don't really have any particular color that I prefer working with, as I feel that the color palette I use is going to depend on each customer. No two customers are ever going to have the exact same color combinations. At that point I might as well start using templates! That being said, I love using pastel colors whenever I can. I really enjoy their subtlety and feel that they give any design a nice, minimalistic look to them. It's good for me that they're quite popular these days as well.

I am making use of the Flat UI color palette. You can see that Flat Color Palette. I have found that colors in the flat section is something that needs to be there as well. They seem to be making the web look lot better. But depending on how you choose to make the website look better. In such case it'd be reasonable to make use of wide array of the colors. So something that we needs to be following that is something we have to consider for web development.

I like using bright colors on my designs whether I am designing a website or graphics. I always avoid dull colors or dark colors. Therefore, I never use gray or black. Eyes are easily attracted towards bright colors, therefore, when I am designing a website or graphics, I use green, yellow, orange and blue.

My favorite color is purple but I think that it doesn't translate well into web design. I have tried to use it many times but it's hard. My favorite color I use for designing is gray because it s very versatile and looks classy, The only problem with it is that on it's own it looks a bit boring.

I like blues myself. Those colors are easy on the eyes and catches the attention at the same time. I think that's why so many brands like Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin chose to use blue as their primary color too. But because so many brands are choosing to use blue, I think there are a little too much blue these days. If only there were another color that has the same effect. Maybe a pastel leafy green? Or pastel blue-purple? Blue still seems more comfortable somehow.

For me my favorite would be any color form in green. This kind of color makes any design so colorful because of it's natural like fresh vibe thing it gives. Especially when your design is all about nature or environment related. Green would be definitely my favorite color in term creating a web which has a environment theme or any relaxing and soothing theme.

That would be black and white. I love seeing them with red too, I don't know it might just be me who is addicted to the black and red combination or the white and black.

My favorite color is red. But in designing a web, blue is my favorite color. For me, I find it more attractive if I'm going to use blue. But sometimes I try some colors to add some combination in my web. The color blue symbolize that it is my web. And I want to continue to use blue as my web color.
