What's your favorite winter comfort food?

I love eating mac and cheese during the summer as it's very cheesy and creamy tasting and always hot. Another favorite winter comfort food is homemade mashed potatoes with lots of sour cream and butter. What's your favorite winter comfort food?

Chili is my favorite, especially during the winter time as it's filling and always a satisfying meal to eat. I would love to have chili at other times of year as it tastes so good, but it always takes so long to cook and heats up the house. So it's only a winter type meal.

Tuna casserole is one of my favorites, something that I only eat during the cooler months. During summer time, I rely mostly on my microwave to prepare meals and don't use the oven at all.

During summer I do more of tea with toasted bread in the morning while hot soups with plenty of meats would go down for lunch and hot spicy gravy would do for dinner. This will totally keep cold away.

Beef stew is a good winter meal. I like to indulge myself with comfort foods during the cold weather. Now that it's warmer, I'm back to my vegetarian ways. So my comfort foods are all a lot healthier than during winter time.

It's already spring so I'm not thinking about hot foods anymore. Now I'm more into cold cuts and cold foods that help me keep my cool.

Hot cinnamon rolls smothered in gooey icing, fresh from the oven. Delicious year around! And my favorite treat very good for winter or summer.

warm oatmeal! I love oatmeal when it's cold outside. I will add some cinnamon and just eat it as a dinner plate. Also I love warm chicken soup with a lot of corn, it bring me so many memories from when I was a child and eat it in front of the tv watching cartoons on the rainy days.

Hot noodle with hot choco is what I consider one of the many foods good to eat during winter. During cold days we always prefer to eat anything that is hot because of the cold weather, so I guess hot choco will be a perfect fit for a cold weather.

For me it's definitely a combo of French toast and coffee. They are the best in winters. They don't just comforts me but they add happiness and positive thoughts. What I like about them are the smell and taste.

We don't have winter season but we only have a cold weather. During cold weather (Christmas month) we love any kind of soup, in particular, Bulalo. It's very yummy and tasty and good for a cold weather here in the Philippines.

I know there are no winter seasons here in the Philippines but there are times that the weather is so cold that could be compared to winter. During that cold times, my mother always cook tinola and any food with soup somehow to lessen the cold feelings in our body.

During the winter, I enjoy taking beans and yam that is prepared with stockfish. I always use that to keep my body in a better condition and go about the activities of the day with less issue.

My favorite winter food is all kinds of soup. Winter is so cold and this is the best time it hot and foods with soup. While eating eat, you can feel the winter season more. And for me, winter season is not complete without having a soup and a cup of hot chocolate coffee. Saying this now is like I want to see winter soon. I am excited for the next winter season and I will try other kinds of soups and hot drinks.

I love steamed pork buns specially during the winter months along with some hot sauce, it's the best comfort food for me.

During the cold months I always crave for something hot and spicy, another one on my list is kfc°s hot n crispy fried chicken paired with chili noodles and a glass of milk.
Warms me up pretty good.

One of my favorites during cold months is to eat hot asian noodles or Ramen in Japanese but here in the Philippines typically we call it Mami or Lomi, the noodle has a lot of variants you can select round or flat noodles and if you want it thin or thick. I prefer to eat flat thick noodles, it's like fettuccine pasta but in a soup. It has a lot of vegetables in it as well as boiled eggs and pieces of chicken, pork and beef. It's best eaten with our local sponge cake made out of rice we call it 'Puto' it has the texture and taste of a plain spongecake but less sweeter.
A bowl of this noodle depending on the restaurant can cost you $1 up to $4 and it's one of my favorite comfort food during the cold months.

It's winter now in some parts of the world and here in the Philippines it's the start of the Cold Season or Christmas Season as its commonly called here and during this season I like to eat our local Christmas Rice Cakes locally known as Bibingka, it is commonly cooked traditionally over and under hot coals and sold near churches but now we have it inside malls. It has salted eggs and cheese on top and is served with melted butter, sugar and grated coconut. It's best eaten as a snack with a cup of coffee or tea.
