Sometimes, I will have dinner with my boyfriend and we take about an hour for mealtime, just talking and having fun while eating. But, other times, I eat alone so I don't make a huge deal out of meals.

I think same is the case with me. I have those days. And I have my own set of the rush through the meal. And we have to some of the time take things slow. Because that's how healthy eating habits are formed.

Even though I don't make a big deal of dinner, I always take time to enjoy every minute rather than rushing the food. Taking it slow at meal time is essential for proper digestion.

Rushing at meal time or not concentrating on the food can lead to over eating and upset stomach. Not to mention more calories ingested than you really need.

If more people would focus on their plate at meal time rather than television, they would enjoy meal time more. When you have no distractions, you have to look at your plate and focus on the food being eaten. Then you become conscious of tastes and textures and quantities. This helps prevent over eating too.

Dinner is the only time I have during my day to sit down and relax and not think about work. Also, if I had to rush through meal time, I'm sure that I would get indigestion. It makes me feel queasy just thinking of it.

I am guilty of eating over the sink, so to speak. I grab a sandwich and go as my schedule does not allow for lengthy meal times. Just feel like if I sit down I will get out of my momentum and stop working.

When my daughter was much younger, maybe two years old, i would do the same thing. I had literally no time to have regular meals. Caring for her was a full time job. So I would eat standing up. Now things are more settled and I am able to sit down for a meal. Though most times it's just a sandwich and not a full plate of food. Do you rush through meal time?

If you are having health problems, this could be why. Not eating the right foods can cause you to feel tired or sluggish or out of energy. Not taking care of yourself is a big reason for feeling bad. You need to take time to care for yourself. Otherwise, how can you care for your family or do your job?

How can you enjoy your meal if you rushed it so bad. I get it when you're in a hurry when it comes to your breakfast, but not all the time you have to do that. A good meal should be eaten properly since the one who made it, made it for you.

When I am home, I have time, Therefore, the dinner time is always fun time for me. I enjoy food eating together with my family. Sometimes we sit for hours in the dining table in the evening talking this and that.

I always take time to savor my food. I used to rush through meal times in high school because lunch break was really short. I find eating slowly and taking my time to be more healthy. Some people are already used to rushing and they cannot slow down.

I do sometimes but savoring and eating it with manners is probably the best thing to do when eating meals. There are probably some reasons why people tend to eat in rush, like for example when my favorite show comes up then probably I would rush or rather eat on my room instead.

I don't like to rush through meal time but unfortunately, I have to so at times if I have to complete important tasks. I love to have dinner with my family and enjoy my meal as this is a fun time. We usually discuss several stuff and also crack jokes. Unfortunately, due to our hectic lifestyles nowadays many people can't dine with their families.

It depends, I usually don't like to rush, because I feel like I didn't eat correctly, but sometimes my program pushes me to rush and eat faster because I have things to do. Usually I eat with my family or friends or colleagues and we don't rush, we take our time, to eat and talk, it's like our moment of relaxation. Medically speaking, it's not a good idea to rush your meal because you abuse your stomach and you can get yourself a stomach ache or even disease.

Since I work every day and I have only one food break in a day I am always rushing to eat, and this became a routine for me. I have started to rush eating at home as well, I know is not healthy at all but this is my custom.
