Why so many feel good movies at Christmas?

So many romantic holiday and feel good movies out now on TV and in theaters. have you noticed?

It's nice to have something fun to watch with the family. Or, if you are single but dating, you can watch a nice movie with your significant other at home or in theater. There's not reason not to indulge in a movie.

It's really sweet being able to watch these movies at Christmas time as it puts me in good holiday cheer and makes the season even more special and memorable.

Christmas is the best time to watch movies as they are always uplifting and have happy endings. The movies that come out the rest of the year are usually depressing or too violent to share with loved ones.

This morning FX had a really fun action packed thriller movie on with Chris Rock and Sir Anthony Hopkins. I was only able to see the last 15 minutes but it was a nice change from the holiday movies which had been showing this past month.

Christmas is the time when everyone is free (they don't have to go to work), have money (in most cases people get Christmas bonus) and in the mood to celebrate (Christmas is the time for celebration).That's why people have time to watch movies. People watch all sorts of movies, but for most of the people feel good movies are their ideal choice.During the holiday people go to a movie with family and feel good movies are considered best movies to watch with the family. That's the reason why feel good movies are released during Christmas.

I remember many years ago some of the studios would release independent, or obscure horror movies around the holiday time to kind of balance the market from family flicks and all that. They don't do that anymore though. They don't even put out action flicks anymore during the holiday season to balance the market. It's all family stuff.

I think world is miserable. And people are more focused on coming out of misery through small transactions of happiness. And the thing is that happiness in festivals is how they are searching for it. And if they can make decent money then that part works out as well. I am guessing that for many of us movies such as that often lead to more depression. So I don't think they are worth watching if you don't have family or love life. That's the thing about the christmas or any season that bothers me the most as well.

I believe it to put everyone in a relaxed mood and people should be at ease with themselves. I always like the frenzy mood of the Christmas period.it always a time to remember.

It's festive season and definitely the movie industry tend to spice things up a little bit up the notch. This is normally what is obtainable during Christmas celebrations, so therefore I'm not really surprised but actually was looking forward to it.

I enjoy watching Christmas movies especially the old ones. I have grown up watching those old movies and there are so many good memories attached to them. I have to agree that many good movies are broadcasted on TV during Christmas time. There are also many good movies released in the theatres at this time of the year. I think the reason is that most people like to spend time with their family during Christmas and is more likely to go to the theatres or watch a movie together at home.

I noticed too. They are so many. I like movies in the month of December. They are always entertaining and perfect for the whole family.
