Every year, I ask for a carrot cake but never get one. :/

This is the only thing I really want.

I'm not so much into gifts anymore, though I don't mind something small and sentimental.

Though on everyone else's birthday, I will usually do something lavish such as take the person out for a big shopping trip where they get to pick out their own gifts.

I like doing this better than just buying them gifts and hoping that what they wanted.

I will likely do that again for Christmas.

I feel like a little kid every year on my birthday and always look forward to my birthday morning when my girlfriend makes a special breakfast for me. We spend the day together and go shopping or for a picnic. It's the best day of the year, even if I receive no other gifts.

Why not special order a carrot cake of your own, rather than depending on luck or circumstance to bring what you want?

And, if not that, then you could simply make your own carrot cake?

Yes every year. We celebrate all birthdays in my family with cake and lots of gifts.

I celebrate my birthday every year with my friends and family. I get gifts from my friends. In office birthday is celebrated by a birthday cake. Birthday is a happy moment for me as my friends remind me beforehand. Birthday is like a holiday which I like to celebrate.

Sometimes it depends on how are you feeling those days. This year I was depressed because my grandpa is no longer with us and I felt like my world was falling apart. Years ago I celebrated my birthday with crazies parties like the movie called "project x" everyone wanted to go to my birthday parties. But, if did not invite you couldn't go. Of course, when you arrived I didn't tell you anything. If I knew who were you I had no problem at all. Those were good times. Now, all my friends had left the country so, I don't think I am going to celebrate my birthday next year. #FREEVENEZUELA

Yes i celebrate my birthday with my family , relatives and friends i am so excited when it comes to my birthday because many people will give me a gift and also on that day majority of your request will be granted it's like they will spoil you for one day and many food will be serve which is my favorite part and a bonding moments with your love once is much nice.

Yes,I do all years. I believe celebrating birthday is kind of appreciating and thanking God for one's life.So I do this yearly. Nothing is wrong in that.

I cannot say that I still celebrate my birthday, when is my birthday I take my friends in a bar drink a few beers or wine to celebrate it, that is all...nothing special. I used to celebrate it with barbeque, beer and a small party at home, but since I have my kids I avoid to do this kind of things at home.
I prefer to relax in a bar with my friends!

Yes I have celebrated my birthday once or twice. The last one that I could recall ever celebrating last was my 25th birthday, which was 3 years ago.

It was really a wonderful time in my life at the time. I was graduating from the University then, as such I decided to celebrate my birthday in conjunction with my final year graduation. I had lots of fun with my family and friends, together with my course mates as well.

To be honest, I don't like to celebrate my birthday. However, each year my family organizes a small birthday party for me. It is a tradition in my family to celebrate each and every birthday party. The only good thing about those parties is that I get to spend a good time with my family.

Yes of course! I always celebrate my birthday. My mother always prepare some foods for us and she always make my favorite foods. And when I started to work, my mother didn't fail me to prepare foods. Also my co-employees suprised me in my birthday. Birthdays is the day we must celebrate noatter what. Because this is the day when you born and it is nice to remember that day you born. It is special to us especially to our parents.

Yes, I do celebrate my birthday with my family, close relatives and friends. Last year I celebrated it by having a party in a buffet restaurant called Tramway, it was quite filling and the price was so reasonable at $5 per person. I mean they have 30 + dishes not including the Salad and Dessert bar.
