Dance those little ones until they drop!!!

So every morning for last couple of weeks, my 2 girls that arent in school like to have dance sessions! They watch videos on the TV of kids dancing to popular songs or nursery rhymes!

I let them have a ball and they try to follow the dance moves that the little kids are doing! Its too funny!

I was thinking of keeping this going as an exercise time for them especially now that its getting colder and they wont really go outside!

what do you guys think?

This is an awesome idea for the kids. Where we live on the map is so cold so early in the year that something like this is almost necessary. We have cold none months or even ten our of the year and its almost impossible to take the kids out without them getting sick. Dancing is an awesome way for them to exercise especially when they are small. Kids pop is free and anything that you don't have to pay for is a big plus. YouTube has become so popular in our house its so funny! The only downside to this is that we have to pay attention that they don't drift off into something bad on the tube. In my opinion this is a great idea especially for winter time. Our youngest loves the gummy bear song and the dance moves are pretty cool. Thanks for sharing Ermini!

yes, speaking of cold weather....Sunday we are supposed to get snow! the leaves hasvent even finished falling yet!

but anyways, it gets way too cold here, -25° was the coldest I had ever seen here or ever before in my life! With that being said, it isnt safe sometimes for the kids to be outside here, and they have to be active! So i figured this was a fun way to really get them moving around and exercising, without calling it "exercise"! LOL

Dance is a wonderful form of exercise and expression, for kids and for adults so yes I think this is a wonderful idea. My kids are always dancing to things on TV. I caught them dancing in the bath together a few days ago, like waltz style which was quite cute. Of course they didn't have much space to move even though it is a big corner bath.

Dancing is a very good form of exercise, it's an energetic way of expressing oneself and I am very sure it burns lots of fats in anyone's body that participate in it. Personally, I enjoy dancing, in fact during one of exercising courses, dancing is part of one of lessons.

So therefore, I think it would be very nice to get your kids are soaked up with enjoying dancing as fun but also as a means of exercise in disguise. Eventually, as they are growing up, they might fall in love with dancing and never part from it.

I think that it is good thing that your kids are being allowed to express themselves in a way that they feel right. You should allow them to continue dancing every morning for dancing is also a form of exercising which is very good for the body, mind and soul.

Ensure that they don't stress themselves that much in the course of doing the dancing steps.

I think this is a really good idea, in fact, anything is good to keep them busy if going out is not possible but dancing is the best choice because it is no messy and you don't clean up after them is even better than playing games or with toys in the house.
