How often do you use your phone?

I use my phone daily. I use it several times per day. I obviously call people or answer the phone in case others are calling me, but I also send text messages etc. And not only that, I also read news using my phone and I write emails too. - My phone is with me literally everywhere. Even when I take a shower.

How about you? - Can you go even one single day without your phone?

Have you ever done it?

In case you can, and in case you do, what are you using instead of a phone during that time? - I bet you're using your computer or an ipad.

And the last question is. Why do you have a "phone-free day", in case you have that?

Haha I hear you ermini2 and I can totally relate to your feelings. I use my phone on a regular basis too. Even though I'm using my computer, I still need to check my phone several times per hour. Kind of weird, as I could easily read my emails using my computer for instance, but I often use my phone to do it.

I detest my phone. I use it daily because I am on my kids playschool whatsapp group. I also get afew texts every day which I check.

But for me using my phone because I want to use it for something? Well my watch battery died a few months back so sometimes I check the time LOL... but seriously I hardly use it myself for things that I want.

The kids Whatsapp groups are really annoying because the moms chat all day and at night till 10pm they ask the teacher questions like "have you seen my kids bottle". I find this rude and intrusive, so I can only imagine how the poor teachers feel!

I can keep this short and sweet, the only time im not using my phone is when im eating, sleeping, showering, driving, that type of stuff. The rest of my time i am glued to the phone checking orders or talking to prospective clients on Facebook. I never thought about doing a day without my phone on purpose but i have lost it and i had to wait 3 days to get a new one in the mail. It did not mess wit my productivity much i just hit my computer more during that time. What it did limit was my mobility i was stuck to a desktop for 3 days. This is an interesting idea and my wife would probably love it! No phones for 24 hours maybe no electronics! Thanks for sharing great topic!

I lost my phone and that was a weird day for me.. It was about one year ago. I used my phone like I usually do and suddenly, I just lost it. I couldn't find it so I bought a new one immediately. Within 2 or 3 hours from when I lost it... When I "finally" had a phone again, and started to use it.. I found my other one. How often do you use your phone?

I am always using my phone on a daily basis. If I am away from a computer I use my phone when I am out and about to keep in contact with people such as messenger, phone calls, text messages, receive emails and to also have on hand for if I need to search for something whilst I am out and about. Having a phone nowadays is like having your own personal computer with you at all times, you can keep up with everything that goes on without the need of being at your computer 24/7.

One of the main reasons I also keep my phone on me at all times is because I have children who are at school and if something was to happen to them I would want the school to contact me as soon as possible for let me know.

I use my phone everyday. On most cases, I use it for calling and messaging my family or friends. Sometimes, I use it as an entertainment like whenever I am waiting for someone or something, for killing the time so to speak. I also use it as my secretary lol. For instance, it reminds of the things I need to buy or need to do, things that I also need to go to. One of the most useful feature a phone can offer is the Internet wherein you can almost do some of the things a computer can do.

To be honest, I actually used my phone most of the time and I think I'm addicted to it hahahaha. It is just everything I do is incorporated to my smartphone such as providing some information, watching some videos, playing games as an entertainment, chatting with relatives and friends and a lot more. Smartphone have a lot of functions that I enjoy and maximized to use I even managed my own YouTube Channel which adds up to usage time. God bless and thank you everyone.

I used my phone everyday. This is very important to me, especially for the nature of my job.

My job requires me to call a subordinates everyday and updates from clients, call from boss and other office personnels.
My contact was there,my social connections was there, so I really needed my phone badly everyday. This is also very important especially when you have an emergency, you can easily get through to your contact and could respond immediately.

I use my phone all the time, most of the time I will be using the internet will be on. I am so attached to it that when it get spoiled I feel depressed. It is a bad behavior which I should stop otherwise without knowing it I might end up going for counseling to stop the vice.

I use my phone every single day. I would like to be less addicted though because there are times when I catch myself staring at the screen and just swiping at the home screen, not doing anything in particular on it. It's this compulsion - my phone is just so pretty. Does anyone have the same habit? And if I don't do something on my phone before falling asleep, I would feel like I missed a step in my routine and would be fidgety until I stare at the screen for at least ten minutes. Only then can I fall asleep.

If I didn't have my phone, at least I have my computer, and if I didn't have my computer, I can always read, so it's not like I would find it hard to function without my phone. That doesn't mean I'm not addicted to staring at it though.

I must say that my phone is a necessity in my day to day activities for I use it
for work purposes and to get in touch with my friends and relatives. However, no matter how much I’m attached withmy phone, I always make sure that I have a day in a week when I can set a
phone-free day because I want to give myself a break from work. Usually it happens during Sundays because I spend the whole day in our church and I leave my phone at home along with the
other things that occupy my mind to focus on worshiping God.

I often use it when I need to answer some calls which some are really important for business and sometimes emergency calls. I also use my phone whenever I get bored by not doing anything and probably use it whenever I go to sleep to listen to my favorite musics.

I spend around 4 hours on the phone. Most of the time spent on doing some transaction, texting and also checking out the social media. And it seems like a good phone then you can also take the images too. So both camera and the regular tablet type of use can be done with the phone. You can surely see that phone has the most options of getting things done. I just spend the time depending on work needed from that.

Oh, definitely every 5 minutes. I just love my iPhone. I don’t get the android menu and settings. There is a lot of useless stuff and apps that no one needs them. On the iphone you have strict the necessary, and there are just 3 or 4 apps that I find useless. Also the settings are very well arranged. I tried to connect my mom’s phone to the bluetooth (she has an android) and I almost died trying. My iphone gets connected to any device in 20 seconds maximum. I read a lot of information about all the smartphones. I refer to breakfixnow website, that you may also check.
