Are you a dog or cat person?

So, just curious as to what people are interested in when it comes to household pets!

We are a dog family! I had all kinds of dogs growing up as a kid and since we have had children we have had a few dogs. I love them, they are the best. They always try to snuggle up with you when they can sense you're sad or not feeling good! They are great to have to protect you and your family!

I like cats because they are completely independant and you hardly have to do anything for them! BUT they can be pretty snippy sometimes, and my husband and oldest daughter are alergic anyways!

What about you guys? Do you have pets? What kind of pet would you want to get?

I really hate cats! They are the worst creatures in the world in my opinion. They are very sneaky and will poop in your shower if you don't watch them. I am deathly allergic to cats after 30 minutes or so of being in the same house as one i start to itch all over especially my eyes and neck. Cats `are cute when they are kittens but when they grow up they turn into a different animal. Some cats are also very boring you never see them around the house because they are always hiding out.

When it comes to dogs i love all sizes. I am also mildly allergic to dogs but hypo allergenic dogs don't phase me. Short hair dogs that shed do not seem to phase me at all either, yet anyway. My black lab has not shed any hair yet so i will keep you updated on that one. Dogs are always around and super friendly. You can play catch with them and more! Dogs are also very good home protection animals which is why i love big dogs. The bark will scare most burglars away, In combination with ADT my house is safe! Thank You for asking this question im sure more people will put their 2 cents in.

yea cats are cute when theyre kittens but then after that they tend to be more snippy. LOL
dogs are definitely good for home protection in addition to the ADT we have, when we get bailey trained enough, people will be scared to knock on our door!

Both but I prefer dogs as I can take a dog with me on various places, as well as the fact that you can train a dog, it's very difficult to do that with a cat. Cats are just cute and stuff, dogs can actually become your friends.

yea i agree with you! i love my dogs and all the dogs i have ever had. theyre part of the family! my dogs are great, theyre fun lovable and protective!

I am definitely more of a dog person. I have cats and dogs as pets, but I gravitate towards my dogs for companionship much more than I my cats. The cats, of course, are much more independent, and I respect them for that,but my dogs are very affectionate and they lavish me with affection and appreciation. Sure, I know that all of the animals are just looking at me as the food provider, and that is the draw towards me, but I tend to get more out of my relationships with the canines than with the felines.

The argument over whether cats or dogs are better is a heated one. A lot of people are either die hard cat or
dog lovers, and aren’t willing to budge on their opinions. Cats and dogs
suit different people for a variety of different reasons.

I'm really into dogs ever since. I just love how they interact with people, very playful and fun to be with. I always want to have my own dog but I don't have the budget to own one. Whenever I feel stressed or in a bad mood, I usually watch videos of dogs. They are just so cute! I like cats but they are not as hype as the dogs.

I am pretty much adjustable with the both types. I don't have any specific favorite. I have kept dog, cat, fish and birds. And I find no issues keeping them around these days. You can see that dogs are fun. And you can keep them as long as you want as well. So in that condition you should choose what works for you. I'd be keeping fish more in future because they have less maintenance.

Actuallly I love both of them the cat and dog a
here in our home we have dogs and cats they live together peacefully we took care of them everyday giving them healthy food and some dog and cat vitamins. And also they protected our homes from theft they bark loud and attack if scene some unknown theft getting inside the house late evening.

I am a cat person, it is not that I do not like dogs, I like them equally. As I was growing our home always had a cat as a pet, but most of our neighbours had dogs. I will be easier managing a cat than a dog since I know and understand more about cats, making them my preferred choice of pet.

Currently, I have a dog, but in the past, I have raised cats. In the past, I have raised a dog and cat at the same time. Generally speaking, dogs and cats are enemies, however, my dog and cat had an interesting bonhomie. I am a dog person as well as a cat person. I like the mysterious ways of the cat. I like the loyalty of dogs.

I really can say that I'm a cat person because I grew up having 6 cats and just one dog. I love cats especially when they cuddle with you or just rub their bodies on your legs. They look cute when hungry and begging for food plus they are not that playful and mischievous. They're like me, laid back and relaxed and I always brush their back whenever I see them.
