I absolutely love finding ways to reuse anything! I especially think it's fun to find ways to reuse kitchen scraps, rather than add it to waste piles. I've heard before that coffee grounds are good to mix into the soil because of the nutrients it can add for plants. You did teach me some new ideas though. For instance, I had no idea that coffee grounds would also help keep bugs away from the plants. I would definitely prefer that I get to eat more of my basil than the bugs! Unfortunately (in this case), our household is not much for coffee drinking. I don't drink it at all and my husband only drinks is on occasion. I do have a bag where I had already started saving any leftover coffee grounds from when he does drink coffee, so now I have some better ideas of how to use it. Also, tea is pretty helpful for the garden. You can save tea bags, then use them (a bunch at once) for a batch of tea to water the plants. It's suppose to also help add nutrients to them. Our house is much bigger on tea drinking, so I have a whole Ziploc bag of dried out, used tea bags just ready to go for watering.

I know all these about coffee regarding gardening, an old woman told me a few years ago that the coffee may help my vegetables and flowers to grow faster, and that coffee will help me to get rid of the snails from the ground.
Coffee is very good in gardening and what is the best is that you can use it even after you drink the liquid.

Wow! my dad usually collect his old coffee grounds. He just puts them in our garden but I don't really believe that It works. But as a cat repellent? I want to try this! It has been our problem for years on how to keep stray cats away from our backyard. They always poop on our backyard, we've tried putting all kinds of fences but they just destroy them. They have marked our backyard as their toilet. I hope this remedy works! Thank you.

I had no idea you could use it in your garden! The only thing I've heard about coffee grounds is that you can use it for your body as a peeling but as it is really messy I have never done it and I just threw the grounds away. Now I know that I can do a lot with them, I can even add them to the plants so my cat won't dig around them.

I heard that coffee ground is useful to get rid of those pesky stray cats from the garden. So, I did spray coffee grounds on the leaves and noticed that the pesky cats were sniffing and sneezing, walked away. Problem is, if the wind blows or rains, I have to keep spraying.

I love coffee. I always have a stash at my house.Nice to know that it has so many uses. I normally use ground coffee mixed with sugar and lotion as a scrub. I 'm especially interested in it for pest control. I've stopped eating raw salads because of how many slugs you can find in them. I read a story in the daily mail about a guy who got lung worm from eating a raw snail that had probably fed on rats poo. He was left paralyzed from the neck down. Scary stuff!

I am not a professional in this field, and I don't know how to help you. There are many websites on the internet where you can find how correctly to take of your garden. Take your chances and search on the internet. My cousin is fond of gardening, and he told me that his favorite plant seeds are Kentucky bluegrass. These seeds can speed up the plant growth process. Check it out by yourself; I am sure you won't be disappointed.

This is very useful information. I will take it to heart. I work as a gardener and have dealt with so many pests. In the house and the garden. They spoil flowers and furniture, and they always need to be eliminated. Last spring, there were so many bugs that the apple tree never bloomed - the crop was lost. I couldn't let this happen to other trees and plants, so I turned to https://enviropcs.com.au/ for help in getting rid of the bugs and other pests. It helped me save my cherry and pear trees and other fruit fruits.
