Selling Baked Snacks at Easter Time to Make Some Cash With

Hello all. Easter is coming closer every day! And as I said in my first posts on What to sell at Easter Time to Make Make Money with - Every Easter. From selling Easter themed gift baskets to making and selling your own Easter cards too. This one is an idea that will be right up your street! And it's for making (baking) and selling baked Easter snacks with!

Easter time is a great time for those that love their food! Because it's a time when you can get to eat food that you wouldn't normally, or usually get to eat at any other time of the year. And for those that have some baking skills and an oven, there are many things you can make n' bake at Easter time which you can sell for cold hard cash! Think things like cookies, cakes and other gourmet foods and delicacies that people love to eat. And all you really need to do is cook them up, take some pictures of them, create a small portfolio or magazine or a leaflet/flyer with them on and the prices and then give these out to people in your local area or neighbourhood.

And you'll probably find that if you popped a leaflet/flyer through the doors of everyone in your street that a high amount of them will actually take you up on the offer (if they like you) and they like the look of the things that you're actually baking! But the buck doesn't stop there! Oh no, since Easter time is a super popular time for food shops that sell cakes and things then you could present your baked goods to local shops and stores in your area or neighbourhood and have them buy them from you too.

All you really need to do is come up with some ideas for things to bake. And thanks to the Internet, you only need to do a couple searches to find Easter foods you can make n' bake. Then just put your own spin on it and make them look irresistible!

And for this, Google is your friend! Just search around in Google for things to make and bake and sell at Easter time and you'll find many sites with lists of things you can make and bake and sell. That said, I usually prefer to use Pinterest for this kind of thing. Just head on over to pinterest.com and then do a search for "Easter baking ideas" or "Easter treats" or something.

It's amazing because you can find so many delicious Easter themed foods you can make and they all usually have a recipe and cooking instructions with them. Take these Crafty kid's chocolate Easter chicks for example. ?


These aren't really that hard to make. They are just basically Cadbury creme eggs with a little twist! That recipe idea even comes with a video tutorial. But if you can learn how to make these you could sell them for about $1-2 and you can buy a bunch of Cadbury creme eggs in bulk amount for cheap from some cash and carry place like Bookers or somewhere.

And then there's cupcakes. Cupcakes always sell well any time of the year. But Easter time especially. Take these Easter cupcakes for example. Super easy to make, they are just basic cupcakes but with an Easter twist!


The point is, there are just so so many other things you can make at Easter time that are quick and easy and inexpensive to make and will sell like hot cakes with the right advertising. To make it easier to sell them, always take pictures of your baked snacks. Try to put together some sort of menu on a leaflet or flyer. And then just print them out at home. Drop these off to your friends and family (sure to buy) and even drop into shops in your local high street. Even your local bakers may buy them from you if they are nice looking enough!
