Your least favourite console?

Whether you are a huge gamer or not at some point you will come across a console that is not what you thought it would be and you can feel like you wasted your money even purchasing the console. With the Wii U I really did feel like I was let down when I purchased that, as much as they did release quite a few games after a while the release of games dipped and some games that were supposed to be released never were leaving me let down. I will be honest I never thought for a second that I would get let down by Nintendo on a console however with the Wii U I was and I can honestly say because of that the Wii U is my least favourite console.

What would you say is your least favourite console and why?

I have had a lot of bad luck related to consoles in my time. The worst would have to be with the first ps/2 I bought. Well, I wouldn't really say it was a manufacturing problem or not primarily because the console was the first generation third hand if I'm not wrong. I was in primary school at the time and my Mum didn't have any spare money to buy me a new console which I had wanted for years, ps/2 was the in thing at the time. So I saved up my lunch money for a couple of months till I had enough to buy myself a decent used one from a dealer.
For the better part of the first few weeks, the console worked just fine but then as the games started to age I started to notice the glitches in the device. After a couple of hours the console would overheat and lag, it would also make this sharp screeching sound as if someone had a sharp nail to the disc. It ould eventually hung on an intense scene depending on the game, this would require me to shift around the console so as to get the game to continue playing. Obviously, this was not very comfortable as it interfered with my gameplay. For this reason, we would always play the games in groups such that one guy handled that and the rest of us would continue playing.
in extreme cases, the console would just go completely off without warning mostly with an unsaved game.
This was definitely my worst console experience ever, but on the plus side it made me understand from a young age to never buy second hand merchandise, you never know why they are selling it.

I don't think I ever really hated any of the consoles I've owned, but there were definitely ones that I've enjoyed far less than others. The one that instantly comes to my mind is the Sony PlayStation Portable. It was by no means a terrible handheld console, but it absolutely did not live up to my expectations in the least. When I first bought it, I expected the Sony PSP to be a handheld PlayStation 2. The graphics looked incredible for a handheld at the time, almost on par with the PS2, and I thought if the library of games would be even remotely as good as the ones for other PlayStation consoles, this thing would be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Boy was I wrong. Sure it had some good games on it, but the library was atrocious. In terms of graphics and performance, I think it was great. On the other hand, what's the point of having great hardware if there is barely anything worth playing? It didn't help that the PlayStation Vita was a massive failure as well. It would seem that Sony just needs to stay out of the handheld business.

My least favorite console?, well i would have said every console, because i hate anything console, i prefer a gaming laptop to any console you can think of, but since it's not wise, the least favorite console i have romanced with is the Xbox, i don't know why, but it's just don't catch my feeling, maybe because of the pad configuration or maybe am now too inclined to the Sony PS pad conventions

I'm not sure what my least favourite console is, to be honest with you. The PlayStation 4 is my favourite console at the moment so that's out of the contention. I'm not a huge fan of the Xbox One but it has some great exclusives as well so that's not my least favourite console either. It would probably be the Nintendo Switch, to be honest. I like that it is basically two-in-one but I have never really liked Nintendo's games and I don't think this one will have my favourite games so it probably is my least favourite.

Hmm. My least favourite console would be the Steam machine controller. I have used it when it was displayed in our local mall and I tried it once, didn't really like it. I don't know maybe it was the buttons or the size in terms of ergonomics. I just didn't really like how it feels and I read on the reviews that it sometimes malfunctions and isn't compatible to some of the operating systems including the latest windows OS.

From the consoles that I have played, my least favorite would be the xbox 360. From my experience, what's up with the battery in the controller? Imagine you are in the middle of playing your game and the action intensifies what would you feel when suddenly an error pop-up appears "controller not detected" and you don't have any spare batteries. Very infuriating right? Yes, I know there is a pack for that but the one I played with uses battery which made the experience worse.

A lot of people will say that I am crazy but my least favorite console is the PS4. I think that it may be because of the fact that I am a dedicated Microsoft XBOX player. I just could not imagine XBOX not being around and I am pretty much forced to play the Playstation. But as they say it is all about your likes and dislikes and i definitely prefer the Nintendo and the XBOX over any Playstation console.

I love to play games on my computer and smartphone. I used to have the Nintendo N64 system, which I considered my favorite console. I played tons of games on the N64. I never purchased any sony playstation or X-box system. I loved the sony PSP console my friend used to have. The portable system was amazing as the graphics were supercool. Nowadays I play most of my games on my computer. I intend to buy the PS4 or the playstation Vita.

My least favorite console would probably Xbox, the reason that I'm not a fan of this console is because I have a terrible experience with this console. I remember playing this console and the way it runs a game is not that better and smoother like the PS consoles especially the new one. Also, for me I think the hardware system they're using is cheaper than other console that is why I'm not a fan of this console.

I personally don't find much value out of the Wii console. And for this I can tell you that consoles such as that are not good in any way. I'd rather have the Sony or the Microsoft consoles. They can be priced low and also some of the time they can have all the games support for many years. And on that basis I'd go for the playstation and the Xbox. But in case of the Wii the amount of the games are limited. And often the developers are not making the games on that part. So it's better to make use of the platforms which are popular.

I'd never buy Wii if it's only meant for my gaming. I'd let the family use the gaming console if possible.

My least favorite console would be the Wii U by default. I enjoy playing some of the Mario video game titles on the Wii U but the game library that Nintendo has for that system, compared to the game library available for the PS4 and XBOX One? Is poultry at best. Again this is by default. In my opinion, the Wii U is a great console and the games are fun, but I just want more variety of game titles when compared to other consoles. It's a shame because the older Nintendo consoles from the early days had a ton of games.

Im not actually up to this because I am not a fully gamer but I guess using a game console makes your playing easy.

I think it will be my PlayStation 1. I now have a PlayStation 3 and this is way better. I can play better games with good graphics on my PS3. Moreover my PS1 used to lag and freeze and this was really annoying. I don't have this problem with my PS3 and can enjoy my games.

Well my least favorite one is also the Wii but more because of the games available on it. I'm not really a fan of the genre of games that come out from Nintendo so I guess it makes sense that their console is also my least favorite one. It's just a matter of preference for me, not hating on their games or consoles.

PC is a better choice than a console, even a gaming laptop is better.

I prefer laptops more, because recently my computer's main memory burned out, and repairs would be more expensive than buying a new laptop. I bought myself a nice gaming laptop for 400$ as much as I wanted. I chose between a PC and a laptop, but I chose the 2nd one, because with it you can go to friends and play online games together, as well as work somewhere in the park. I'm also currently going through the Witcher's Wild Hunt 3, it doesn't lag behind at all on high settings, it's a pleasure to play it
