My favorite movie of all time is the Harry Potter series. You may call me a Potterhead, I watched the whole movie series. Maybe because I am dreaming of that kind of world, the wizarding world of Harry Potter to come true. It shows different adventures of Harry, how he kills Voldemort.

As cool as the image of Valdemort turning into ashes is, I prefer how it went down in the book. In the book, Valdemort just dies. No explosion, no ashes, his corpse just hits the ground. This shows how he is still a man. Despite all his power, he is nothing more than a mere mortal.

A number of people here answered, Harry Potter Series. I'm with you guys, count me in! I love both the book and the movie series. Of course, the book is still better but what can I say. The movies though gave a good portrayal of the characters.

Harry Potter is a great movie. When I was in school the first Harry Potter movie game out.
I read the book first and was truly fascinated and amazed by it. Then I watched the movie which had brilliant graphics and special effects. I have read all the Harry Potter books and seen all the movies. Indeed Harry Potter is a brilliant creation by J.K.Rowling.

It is one of the best movie series. I also dreamed of being a student on a wizard school where you can do spell that will help you in your daily lives. I also want to play the Quidditch sport game it is kind of fun and at the same time dangerous. Really great movie.

Though i have already mentioned earlier my favorite movie, Harry Potter is also in my list. I just want to say that they are the first movie i watched who showed a real life like effects. I salute to those editors who made the harry potter become successful. I never missed a single episode of the movie. In fact i have a complete set of the DVD's and some have signature of harry potter. I just love the story line and the characters even the animals and the monsters.

Oh the Harry Potter movies are definitely on my list of all-time favorites as well! What would you say are your favorites within the series? I definitely prefer the earlier installments over the later ones.

Initially the films had this wonderfully magical, lighthearted tone to them. As the main cast grew up, I began to feel like the movies were far less magic and more drama. It isn't to say that they're bad, it's just that the shift in tone kind of made me prefer certain films over the others.

My personal favorite is a tossup between the Prisoner of Azkaban and the Sorcerer's Stone. I loved Prisoner of Azkaban because it was a really nice balance of happy, magical themes with a touch of gritty overtones. I have super fond memories of the Sorcerer's Stone though, because it was the first movie I ever saw in theaters on a school field trip.

I am torn between Titanic and The Notebook, man both movies left me bawling my eyes out after watching them. I'm not into the drama/romantic genres but these two totally does it for me. I forgot to say Mr. Nobody, I love how this movie focused on the consequences of your life choice. It makes you think twice before making a decision on important matter, and of course, I love Jared Leto's portrayal here!

Mine was the Korean movie Miracle in cell 7 this really shook my eyes in teary moments for the first time. All actors in the movie did great well and no wonder why the movie tampered some of the most viewed movies of all time and it think you too will cry if you watch this movie especially when you are alone. This wow all the viewers and earn the movie in billion dollar and they deserve that.

I literally watch anything except horror movies. But my all time favorite movie has to be Speed. The action packed thriller movie was released in 1994 starring Keanu Reeves as Jack and Sandra Bullock. I have never had anything rush my blood so fast like that movie. I mean a bus was flying in the air. I have rewatched that movie over 20 times and I would do it again. One of the best. Apart from that movie, I tend to think Hotel Rwanda, Parent Trap, and Mission Impossible are great movies.

I also like to watch horror movies. It's like a food of my appetite, whenever I watch some of those scary thing. I don't like to watch disgusting horror movies, sort of psychopath movies, something like those. My first horror movie to watch was chuckie. It was the scariest thing that, I ever watch in my child hood days.

I always avoid those scary movie in my early days. Because, it was the top thing scary movie that I rated. But, today I don't like those movies anymore, because it's nonsense to watch psychopath movies, anymore.

I am not a big fan of horror movies, but I too liked Child's Play featuring Chucky. I am a big fan of 1980's classic slasher movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Burning, Friday the 13th series, Poltergeist and The Lost Boys. Current horror movies are no match for 1980's horror movies. I was too much scared by Hellraiser.

Titanic is my favorite movie of all time. The movie shows me the true meaning of love. It doesn’t matter what is your status in life as long as you are happy. This movie makes me cry even on my seventh time watching it. It also gives me the feel of happiness, sorrow and longing. The part when jack needs to sacrifice himself in order to save rose is my favorite part and it breaks my heart.

I am personally inclined to watch action movies, particularly with war movies. One of my all time favorites is "Tears of the Sun" directed by Antoine Fuqua. It is a story about a team of U.S. Navy Seals led by Lt. Waters (Bruce Willis) dispatched by the American government to Nigeria. The mission should have been as simple as "to extract" an american doctor, Lena Fiore Kendricks (Monica Belucci) and our (4) others. But things were not as easy as it may seem when Lt. Waters have discovered about the atrocities being done by the rebels to the locals and refugees such as rape, torture and execution and ultimately; genocide.

The thing that really inspired me about the character of Lt. Waters is that, he choosed to defy the orders of his Commanding Officer in order to help those helpless people against the rebels' brutalities. At the end, they managed to save the lives of several people but lost the lives of some of his men.

The story may only be fictional or not, but it opens the viewers' eyes to the possibilities of the existence of such or same cruelty made by some people against humanity far from our understanding and knowledge. This is the message of the movie.

Tears of th sun was one of the best movies I've ever seen but at first when I saw this topic, Saving Private Ryan was the first thing that came to my head and then many followed and it ended with Transformers. Grave of the Fireflies is my favorite movie of all time. The plot, the twist, and the setting is just done sadly beautiful. It's about the unconditional love of a brother to his sister that occurred during World War II. I just don't want to spoil the whole story so that if someone who has a brave heart will decide to watch it later after reading this post will still have an excitement. But trust me, you should be emotionally stable in order for you to finish the movie, it's just tear bending and devastating.

So far "Mr. Church" has moved me to my very core. It's not the typical movie where romance is involved but it's more about relationships. I would love to tell the story but I would like to recommend this to everyone to watch it. I found myself crying in here which is very rare for me to do. Another one is the "IP Man" series, if your a fan of action movies I would recommend this one. They're all bone crushing. Love every second of the movies. And one thing that intrigues me this series is that it is based from true story. Hope you'll have the time to watch it. I can only tell that it is worth your time and eyes.

"PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN" the kind of movie I always watch. The action, characters, graphics, story, and mystery gives me chills when watching this movie. Of course my favorite actor Johnny Depp who played the role of "Jack Sparrow" is the best thing happened in the movie a great actor worth admiring. Also the adventures the different kinds of treasure which makes the movie so interesting and also there is always turn of events where the main characters always survives. The action, romance, drama and at the same time the comedy is well balanced which makes a movie appealing to people.

Definitely agree with you on the creative and well-made side here. Edgar Wright is one of my favorite directors, and he definitely has his own, unique style when it comes to directing movies. I think Scott Pilgrim vs The World is just a prime example of his wacky editing style, and the work he puts into making his scenes flow and transition together as seamlessly as possible.

Basically, his movies seem like one enormous scene as opposed to many scenes stitched together.

A very hard choice to make, but I guess I'll be going with "The Mist" (2007). I'm a huge fan of horror/thriller sci-fi books, so King and H.P. Lovecraft are always on my lists. The ending of the movie adaptation is different from the book, yet, even Stephen said it was good.

I honestly don't know if I have a single one favorite movie. It's just too hard to pick when many movies are absolutely excellent and there are different genres. It's hard to compare a movie from, let's say the comedy genre with a horror one. That's why I will just give a list of movies that I enjoyed watching the most over the years:

"The hook" is my favorite movie. I love the story of Peter pan in Neverland and how he and his gang battles the pirates. And it reminds me of my childhood which me and my brother played pirates in the woods. I wish we never gets old.

Same as you. I watched when I was a kid. My father bought a CD of it for us to watch. Gods must be crazy was very funny to watch and very touching movie on how the father find his son. For me, the best part and funniest is, when the kids are stuck on the truck and they trap on the container that contains water. They try to go out of the container and they used many things to get out of that container. The funny moment is when his older brother get a shotgun and his younger brother stepped on the trigger and shot it near the ear of his older brother.

My favorite movie is called "3 metros sobre el cielo" on English is 3 meters above the sky. It is about a boy and girl who fall in love but no one wants them to be together especially, the girl's parents. Babi who is the girl is from a rich family Meanwhile Hugo alias "H" is the typical bad boy who raises motorcycles and doesn't have a strong family. I cry and laugh watching this beautiful movie.
I also love to watch a walk to remember it is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks and it is about a girl who has cancer but no one knows except her parents and them the meets a guy and fall in love. When she is about to die is when she told him the truth. It is to cry a lot.

I am torn between two actually, I have to pick Dear John and The Notebook. Both films were adaptation of Nicholas Spark's novels.
Dear John was shown in 2010 and topbilled by my favorite actor Channing Tatum and the gorgeous Amanda Seyfried. The movies was about the life of a soldier after he fell in love with a lovely young lady. They continued their relationship by exchanging love letters after the soldier has been deployed to a war. Until one day Amanda wrote Channing that she is engaged to get married. This news left Channing heart broken. What I like about this movies is Channing's subtle way of acting. He delivered a very convincing portrayal of a strong and masculine man who is mending a wounded soul. I can relate to this movie because I send love letters to my Only Love.
Next is The Notebook. The film was shown on 2004 and topbilled by Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. This movie made me cry!!! One scene that really made me cry was when the nurse found the couple in one bed and discovered that they have died while they were sleeping. Even in death, they are inseparable. The movie is a proof that true love can withstand the tests of time.

My favorites are Terminator 1 and 2. They're honestly two of the few movies I've watched that I can say I enjoy watching over and over again, and they've aged well with time (aside from the world-ending-in-1999 nonsense). The end of Terminator 2, watching poor young John Conner lose the only father figure he ever truly had in the name of stopping the machines and preventing the apocalypse, honestly makes me cry. I legit shed tears when I see that scene. I don't believe I'm alone in that. Terminator 1 is all-around just a pleasant interesting romp with police that actually know what the hell they're doing and whose only failing is that they're Wrong Genre Savvy.

Cast away is one of the best movies on my list. It proves that perseverance and hardwork are the main components of success. It somewhat contradicts to the saying no man is an island.

I feel like Tom Hanks never fails to impress me in whatever movie he's in. I thought Castaway was a very endearing tale, and I really enjoyed the fact that it had such a limited cast and created such an isolated feeling for the audience. Given that our protagonist is literally isolated in the film, it only makes sense the filmmakers try and convey the same feeling through their cameras!

Cast away is a great movie and Tom Hanks's acting is extra ordinary. It teaches us a lot of things which you have mentioned. Through hardwork and perseverance anything can be achieved.

My favorite movie is Spirited Away. It's animation, but still a movie. I first watched it as a kid and was immediately entranced by the alternate world imagined by Hayao Miyazaki. I didn't understand the deeper underlying themes and social commentary at the time as I was too young, but having since rewatched it many times over the years, I find more and more messages buried in the story and illustrations at every re-watch. Hayao Miyazaki is a true genius, and it's going to be a sad day when he dies/retires for good. Spirited Away is so beautiful and is one of the best coming-of-age movies that is also very relatable for all age-groups despite being aimed at a younger demographic.

Thank you so much for mentioning Spirited Away. I grew up watching Miyazaki films, and while I enjoy everything he's worked on, Spirited Away has always held a very special place in my heart. I love how wild and creative all of the characters are, and the changes that the characters undergo during the story.

Miyazaki has a way of creating these vast, complex, and fascinating worlds, and I love immersing myself in them!

My favorite movie of all times is the Keenan Ivory Wayans move"I'm Gonna Get You Sucka". If you have never seen this movie you should definitely look it up. This is by far one of the best old school comedy movies of all time. I would love to talk about it but I do not want to spoil a single moment for anyone. Just watch it for yourself and see.

My favorite movie of all times is Back to the Future. I have probably watched it 100 times or more. I even rode the Back To The Future ride at Universal Orlando when they use to have it. I was so upset when I found out that they got rid of the ride.

Back to the future is also one of my favorite movies. I watched it more than 10 times. The special effects used in the movie were really amazing for 1985. Wish I had a DeLorian Time machine like Marty.

For me it's a tie between HALLOWEEN (John Carpenter's original), and THE THING (another Carpenter film). Both films are very powerful from a terror and performance standpoint. Great acting, and also terrifying antagonists. A deranged killer who never speaks and moves like a literal shadow (Michael Myers), and a shape-shifting alien life form who can become anyone or anything at any time (The Thing). Both movies also had terrific and controversial endings. However, we only got a sequel to HALLOWEEN. THE THING left us wondering...

If the two survivors ever made it out alive or were rescued?
Which one was THE THING if either one ever was?
Or did they both eventually get devoured by... THE THING?

We like to watch movies in nature with friends, and then something else-in this case, especially for me. For me, this period of unity with nature is also a great way to spend time with friends. We are very saddened that currently someone is banned because of the microbe also all without exception must be buildings. In some cases, at first glance, it may seem that I am permanently locked in my own buildings. Fortunately, there is an Internet connection, you can also go to the movies or various programs. But here, without exception, everything is not so simple, free of charge, absolutely nothing is lost. I was lucky, my friend revealed to me his secret where he always watches his favorite movies(https://www.123movie.show/).
