Online writing can make you a millionaire

Have you heard of the news about the rich Chinese guy who purchased a  £7,600 dram of vintage Scotch and it turns out to be a fake one?

Well, that's not why I start this discussion. I wrote this because I was caught by the chinese guy. Zhang Wei, a 36 year old guy from China is one of the highest-earning online writer! And here I thought you can't even make a decent take home pay from writing.

For those of you who still doesn't have a clue of what he writes, he's an online fantasy writer who earned millions of dollars in royalties.

Now go on and write and be inspired and who knows time may come that you're drinking the real vintage Scotch from this posh Swiss restaurant.

Sounds great right ? Who else people don't want to be a millionaire just to do online writing. It's so interesting but I not a kind of person who will spend a lot of time about that to be just a millionaire. I'm okay to those things where I am happy and live with my family. This just a opinion of mine don't take it seriously. Online writing can make you a millionaire

Seriously, the story is interesting being a millionaire from just being a simple writer. Getting your brain active and creative enough to get you the attention you desire and monetize it. Well, I wouldn't call myself a millionaire writer yet but I'm making a headway bit by bit because where I'm today isn't where I was yesterday.

This Chinese guy is very hardworking and that's the reason behind his success. I will try to read some of his articles. He is someone from whom we can learn a lot. I have been writing online for quite some time and I have many goals which I have not yet achieved. I am working hard to achieve these goals and hope that I will be a successful writer one day. I think that we must keep on trying and never get discouraged. If we believe in ourselves then we will for sure be able to achieve our dreams.

I don't to lay emphasis on writing but on hard work.If one just writes an article daily I don't think such a person can ever be a millionaire but one who writes tons of articles and Blogspot can become one.

I know we all be in the money if we decide to work hard and smart, no need treating writing or freelancing jobs with levity because a lot of people only see it as a side dish, if we are hard working it can become our main dish.

Well there are some cases that through their writing they can be a millionare but that thinking is not commmon because I think whatever your writing is all about it will need to get the heart of the reader in order for that writing to be famouse and bring money to you. So for me it is possible but I think it was hatd to do

No offense, but you're using the "Field Of Dreams" motto "If you build it they will come" and that's the furthest from the truth. Facts are there are plenty of people out there who are good writes and write until their fingers bleed. But not everyone is going to be a millionaire from writing. And I am by no means trying to discourage you, but if being a good writer made you a millionaire then there would be a ton of millionaires in this world.

You pointed out the most important quality needed to be present in one's life to be successful. Without sweating and being hardworking, there is no way success is going to near such individual. The Chinese guy story is simply a motivation to work harder and see success become our slave.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes. I believe that hard work and persistence were the keys to his success. You need to put out quality content daily, and if not many times in a single day. And if you can get a good enough audience to read your content, then you're on your way to making millions!

Online writing can make you a millionaire but I don't think this guy is that good an example to use. Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't this guy write actual books? That is totally different to online writing. Of course, you can become a millionaire from doing online writing but it is difficult and not the easiest thing to do. I'm sure there are loads of online writers who use affiliate marketing to make themselves a lot of money.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You're right on this. It might be that he is good in affiliate marketing of the things that he writes and that's how he made most of his money. I don't think doing the normal article writing on a daily basis will help me make such a huge amount.

Well to tell you a little bit about him, he is an online fantasy writer. He's been writing since 2004. Thirteen years and 150 titles later, he's earned $16 million in royalties. A lot of his works has been made into movies, video games and web series. If at thirty six years old and self made millionaire is not a good example for you, I don't know what is. Also, if you're looking for a span of 4-5 years and then poof! a millionaire is born, then this is not the best person to look to. I'm just saying, being young at 23 and knows the path that you've been taking is a really good example to look at.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

pandooh
That's an inspiring and motivating story of him. Maybe that's why there are a lot of aspiring writers on the internet especially wattpad. Here in the Philippines, there have been writers whose stories were made available in books and some were lucky enough to have them in action/movies. Well, if you do really have an interesting plot in your input and catches a great attention with the mix of passion and big knowledge then you can stir your path ahead to your goal. It may be a long and difficult time.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

A few years ago I would say that this would be impossible, but currently I don't doubt that anyone can get millionaire just by writing online, but until that happens the road is certainly very long (sometimes, more long than you can imagine) and it's necessary to be very creative and have a lot of willpower and time to turn money into something real.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

DarthHazard
Definitely. The problem with a lot of industries like this is that it requires a lot of hard work which some people just aren't willing to do so I'm glad that this guy has done well because I'm sure he worked very hard to become a millionaire from writing. And like you said, you will have to be very creative to ensure that readers like your content and are willing to visit your site every day to read your stuff.

I think the names of the main tactics to win in this game are patience to learn how things work and avoid spam sites, willpower to resist work that can sometimes be tedious and time to be able to dedicate yourself in the right way and get good results.

wiseagent,
Thinking of making millions from my online writing projects just makes my head spin, lol. Patience and will power are very important factors, of course, but I know a lot of writers who have both of those, and they are still struggling in obscurity. I think that one also has to figure out how to really snag the audience and how to market the work. This is what I am not yet able to really do yet, but I am still very optimistic about it! People pay for literary agents, for instance, and still can not find success anywhere NEAR being a millionaire at this. In any case, hard work is key, and I agree with you on that!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

wiseagent
Unfortunately, it's not all about patience and willpower because there's a lot more water running in under the bridge.

The points of view on this are extremely diverse because each person has their personal experience about it. The road to success doesn't exist, only a few points that can help you (or not depending on how you take advantage of them).

Its very possible nowadays to earn that much of money and even more than that just by writing online. Its not easy as what you think, the said writer on this thread undergone several years of writing and publishing his blogs just to earn it. It is not an individual idea but together with many people where ideas are gathered into one and had a big impact to many online surfers. I can't imagine this is possible in thinking in my own but as what i have searched, he did it real and his one of the most influential person in internet nowadays. I really admire him especially because i am an aspiring blogger.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

The road is definitely not an easy one because it takes a lot of dedication and a lot of effort to reach really satisfying results. However, the possibilities exist and they are no longer as restricted as before (which is obviously a very good thing Online writing can make you a millionaire).

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You need to sacrifice blood and sweat for this kind of achievement. This really depends on personality of an individual also if he is really interested. There are people who are good in start but after few a lot of try and failure they will eventually quit and stop dreaming about their goals and this would not help them. All successful people nowadays gone through several trials and for sure it is one of the reason why they are now in good situation and status of life. We can say that dedication is wealth if we talk about incomes and any other life wishes.

Online writing can never make you a millionaire, but can only pay you some little extra cash to take care of utility bills, accommodation, feeding and other basic expenses. There is no writing platform online that pays to turn you a millionaire no matter how great you are in writing. Those platforms that operate on a rating system can only pay a little cash for your writing assignment, even if you are a 5.00 star writer. If you own a personal blog or website, you may possibly earn a passive income.

It is very difficult to earn a decent amount from writing online. I started my online journey 8 years back by joining a writing site. However, it was a bit slow to earn and I started looking for other ways to earn online. Today I am an online tutor and seller and I earn a good amount monthly. I also have a blog but I do not earn much from this. I know some people who are full-time bloggers and they earn a decent amount. As far as I am concerned I am not sure if I will be able to achieve my goals in respect to online writing.

Pixie06,
This has been my experience so far with online writing, but i can't complain, because I have only been doing this for a few months now, so I still have so much more to learn! I have made some good money though, not a lot, but money that was enough to help me with my expenses and to even use a bit for leisure and some of my savings. If I were going to try to write fantasy books, though, I think I would go to a more conventional publisher than the online and blogging route, but I guess this does work for some people, and I think that is awesome.

I have to agree with you it's not going to make you a million are. But it can make you a passive income just like you said. Online writing for what i know usually pays little. Well this guy must be very lucky for hitting the jackpot getting paid million for writing online. It will be rare case that one can be a millionaire with this method but it is not impossible. I believe there is a chance for one to have fate like this chinese guy if only articles will be given attention to. There are some site that pays $50-100 per article, but for you to pass those sites, you must submit real good one article.

Yup there are site which one can apply and submit article to. Some do it as part time job since they cannot rely on the payment they can get through writing article. Some make their own blog site and aims for higher income. It is not that easy, it will be a make or break to be on this field, you can never expect success right ahead, it takes time.

You can make a good living writing stories or scripts and selling them to the highest bidder. Just be warned though, once your work is sold it is no longer yours. It becomes the property of a publishing house or movie studio. They can butcher it, or hire other writers to do small or major rewrites. Then your lovely work is turned into a mess sometimes upon being released to the public as a book, novel or film.

I think story writing and the book writing stuff is a bit harder. Not a lot of people can do it easily. And in fact most of the people who choose to do it end up doing it the wrong way. So I am not sure how it's possible to get into story writing. Instead freelance writing can be a good start. And also the transcription. There seems to be a lot of boom for the writing those stuff.

What's the difference between online writing and offline writing?

Does online writing mean that you do the actual writing while online? Would it still be considered online writing, if you did the actual writing and then post it online?

If the difference between the two is where the writing finally ends up, then I don't think there's much difference between the two. Either way, you can make a lot of money or waste a lot of time for nothing. It all depends on what you write and where you sell it to.

The basic question, as I see it, is whether you can make a lot of money at all through writing. And my answer is yes! Yes, you can make a lot of money through writing. Millions or even billions. However, I doubt if that's going to happen overnight or to every single person who writes.

Just as food for thought, look into the history of the author of the Harry Potter books and see how long it took to get her into the millionaire class.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I don't think many people write offline anymore. In the old days, books, novels and scripts were typed up word for word. Every page. Now there are two great screenwriting and book writing programs out there. FINAL DRAFT and CELTX. So anyone whose writing their next script, masterpiece, or even a weekly editorial - is doing it online.

Interesting assumption. True, it may seem like everyone we know is using a computer or at the very least a smartphone. However, the truth is that everyone we know only makes up a very small percentage of the total world population.

Likewise with writing. I have been writing via a computer keyboard for years but I am very sure that the number of people who write without using a computer is still in the majority. And let's not assume that anyone who doesn't write using a computer is not worth counting. Writing is not measured by how we do the writing. It's the ideas which make a piece of writing great, not the pen or computer keyboard which is used to write the idea down.

I am not sure how that is going to be. I can tell you that currency conversion does play some role. And that can lead to the changes to become the millionaire. You can see that some people mostly rely on the foreign currency. And that is what makes them the most money. And they end up being millionaire this way. You don't have to use this formula. But raising the rates of writing assignment bags more money than anything out there. I guess on that basis, it'd be reasonable to do online writing.

I tried a lot of blogging but seems no chance to be discovered and gain profit from it. I think the Chinese guy is very hardworking and has lots of guides and well trained before he gets into an online writing. I know it is really inspiring and shocking to hear that news, but i assure that it is not only about online writing he is doing, there are some alternatives that helps him became a millionaire. Maybe if one is a regular script writer for blockbuster movies, being millionaire for writing would be easier. But for writing online, this could be hard. I dont know
how this chinese guy did it, but reading his story can inspire a lot of writer to pursue their dreams, just like you Online writing can make you a millionaire

But like what you said, maybe his wealth did not come from writing alone, i am sure there are other businesses aside from it.

It requires a lot of effort. You have to get a lot of backlinks for your content. And you also have to work on small details. Like content and the monetization. Like say adding adsense or affiliate links. If that part works out then surely you can get yourself closer to the earning from blogging. But this part takes time though. It's not like you are going to be making a lot of money with this.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I 100% agree with overcast, it takes a TON of work and he is so right your not going to make a lot of money. And I think this is where a lot of people make major mistakes. They think oh hey look this guy is making it rich so they dump $1,000 (example) into a website and they sit back and scratch their heads wondering why they haven't made any money. And the simple facts is most people don't know that 98% of the websites on the internet don't make a dime. They only look at the success stories and not the failures. If they focused on the failures then they wouldn't be so quick to dump a bunch of money into a website.

Yes imitation in blogging hardly works. You can see that some of the people who try to imitate other bloggers have very low chance of success. And for this reason i think it's reasonable to approach blogging with what we know and have. That seems to be one way of fixing the things. I hope steemit changes these things though.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

What deos he write? A regular blog? It seems really interesting! There are many bloggers that got very rich because many people read their posts. I think it's a matter of both good content and some luck. It is definitely possible to make millions from a blog.

I think regular personal blog is less likely to earn that much. He must be into niche which has the advertisers and the people who are likely to pay. And that means you can see that online writing can be good enough on the sponsored post side too. And if you are aware of those things it'd be reasonable to say that he must be in some of such options. That's how he could be making more money.

I think that you can become a millionaire by doing almost anything... not just writing. You just need a bit of luck, a lot of hard work, time, effort, perseverance, determination and more. I do find such success stories to be inspiring though since I'm a writer as well but I know that just because a few become very rich it doesn't necessarily mean that I will as well. My success depends on my work.

If we go by the logic that there is a millionaire in every craft, then you can become a millionaire by doing literally anything, online writing can be decent to earn some income, but you shouldn't expect too much, of course that doesn't mean that you shouldn't set your goals high, however going with the idea that you're going to become rich, because some dude in China did it, you're in for some fun.

Any skill and talent that you are blessed with, can be a potential earning for you. I used my talent before in teaching voice and piano lessons. I also used my English communication skills in teaching Korean exchange students while I was a student in UP as well. But to be a millionaire is a slim chance, but possible.

If you believe in your talents and skills, and you have a determination and you work hard for your dreams, you can be one.

I think with the way internet is going on. I think it'd be reasonable to say that being millionaire is more or less luck. And it'd be harder to be making more money in near times. And people have to limit their focus to things that are working. I personally think people should be realistic about making money online. Talents often don't work out. It's the exposure on the internet that matters.

Yes it can. I do believe this. Though not from the beginning but a good foundation in online writing can be very rewarding in the long run. With good advice, support and never giving up in your skills can get anyone to where Zhang Wei is now.

I agree with this.Writing is a very valuable skill. If you write well you can earn a lot of money from it. The beauty of writing is that it is a very wide field. They are so many niches that you can write in. You can also write for different mediums like newspapers, magazines, blogs, online content, ebooks, books. The options are endless.

In my opinion, the fastest way to reach millionaire( in dollars I hope) status is by writing a book. With a book, the sky is the limit with sales and there is limitless earning potential. A good example is J.K Rowling. The world's richest author worth close to 1 billion dollars. Remember she was once very poor.

In online writing, i'm not sure you can reach millionaire status. I know though you can make a good income. They are people that earn $500 for a 1000 word article in online publications and copywriting. I know proofreading and editing also pay well. I suppose you can reach millionaire status by hiring other writers to write for you at this level.

Like you said, it's such a large industry that you can almost guarantee making money from becoming a professional money. There are so many different things that you can do with writing which makes it such a safe industry to go into if you have an interest in writing. Regarding the millionaire status, it is possible but it will take a lot of time, effort and hard work.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Not necessarily. Everyone has their own luck it also depends on your level of skill. They are writers who have years to be successful. Others have made it on their first attempt. Look at J.K Rowling author of the Harry Potter books. As much as it took her years to finish writing her book, because of her personal struggles, it took one year for her book to be accepted by a publisher. She immediately began to make money. Her Harry Potter books continued to sell series after series breaking the previous series records. Her books grew into a global brand.I would encourage people to read her story. It's really encouraging especially for aspiring writers.

I have not heard about Zhang Wei, who makes millions by writing fantasy online, however, I believe you can really make a big money by writing online. If I did not believe I could make good money writing online, I would have never continued writing online since 7 years. I don't say I am very rich or have made millions by writing online, however, I am making my living by writing online. I know how to become a millionair by writing online. You publish an ebook on Amazon. You price your book $3. You earn $2 as a royalty. If you manake to sell 500,000 couppies you will become a millionaire. 500,000 copies is not unreachable considering the numbers of buyers on Amazon.

I took a little digging into his (Zhang Wei) biography. And I'm going to repeat what I'e posted earlier in the comments. He's been writing since 2004. Thirteen years and 150+ titles later, he's earned $16 million in royalties. A lot of his works has been made into movies, video games and web series. He's been China's Top ranking richest online writer for 4 consecutive years. So for those of you who says this is impossible several years ago, this is your proof.

He didn't do it overnight of course. 13 years! He most probably didn't do it alone either. He didn't earn those millions solely by writing too but with royalties to his work. But these all stemmed from his creations from writing. What I am trying to point out is there is always the possibility. He did it, and many others too. So why won't we? Offline or online writing, it doesn't matter. Selling or whatever legitimate way we find these days, it is still possible.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Zhang Wei is a millionaire. Did he earn all of his money from his online publication? Obviously no. His books have been adapted into movies, his books have been made into games. Movies and games brought him most of his money. Of course, online medium provided him a platform to showcase his works, however, he did not make most of his money from online.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

AmieBotella
Well, yeah, obviously, every millionaire did not gain the money from their sole hardship. Name a millionaire who did it on their own. Seriously, You really think one can do it on one process alone? No! It's a combined accumulation. But my point is, it stemmed from his works. Therefore, when you have the talent for writing, it can also lead you to a promising outcome.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

he, of course, has a talent. If he did not have the talent he would never sell so many books and attract movie contracts. His books made him home when the books were adapted for the screen. He did not make all of his money from selling books. My point is you cannot make millions from books unless you get movie contracts. Writing alone cannot make anyone millionaires unless he is a celebrity sort.

That is cool but sometimes I believe writing is a talent. Anyone can actually create a story and write them down but the real challenge is if it would be interesting? I used to create stories for my little ones from fantasy to scary story but most of them are short and my kid often get bored because they know already the ending. I may not have the talent but I can create a story. But stories just don't come around you have to be creative and a kid at heart to create an interesting and wonderful story and it is a talent.

If he earns that much I don't think he is sorry for the money he lost on that drink. I doubt I could ever earn so much money from what I write, you must have writing skills to earn a decent amount from this, is not easy to write if you do not have talent at writing.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I disagree with the comments that if you don't have talent you can't write. I believe we can all do anything if we want to do it badly enough. Writing is a skill like any other and can be learned. We just have to practice our craft and we can become perfect at it.

Your brain is a muscle Like any muscle it can be trained and strengthened to be creative. If you talk to writers or read their stories you will realize that for them to come up with the stories they do, they go through an agonizing process. Some lock themselves away for up to a year to be able to create stories. In my opinion, it's not necessarily about talent, but the belief in yourself and the hard work you put in.

I'm sure you've heard about Abraham Lincoln one of the greatest presidents the US ever had? He advocated for the abolition of slavery. He taught himself law. Nothing is impossible.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

AmieBotella
We are on the same page here. You can learn it. If you are willing, then the hardwork will eventually pay off. Sometimes too, you have to push what you think you like and then somehow that path will just be a way to see the other path for you. You get what I'm saying? When you open yourself to learning, doors of opportunities will open. Some will close too just so you will see that it's not for you. But the idea here is open mindedness on the things that can be achieved even without the talent.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jaymish
I absolutely agree. We sometimes limit ourselves with our lack of belief. Before we start on on a journey we've already reached our conclusion. Very often this conclusion is that we can't do something because we are not smart enough, or talented enough or don't know enough. This makes the difference in my opinion between those who succeed and those who don't. The successful just go for it, even if what their doing seems crazy and impossible.

It depends on the person's fate. If the person has the talent to write because of his wide imagination and experience it is not impossible for him to be a millionaire. If you seek on the internet there are many successful writers who start on a low life then suddenly have a wealthy life. Everything is possible if you just believe.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Of course the focus is on the power and level of writing you have, but there are more things behind it, such as: dedication, patience, planning, knowledge (people who can make things easier for you) and other things also very important.

"It depends on the person's fate. If the person has the talent to write because of his wide imagination and experience it is not impossible for him to be a millionaire."

I think a big part of it has to do with fate, and by fate I mean luck. Yes as the old saying goes, "Fortune favors the bold," but a lot of it still does indeed come down to fortune. Gaining success through any endeavor--especially on the internet--is much like winning the lottery. If you play, you have an okay chance of winning some smaller cash prizes, but only a lucky few are going to win the grand prize. The sad thing is that you might be a better writer than someone making millions, but luck just happened to favor them over you.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

DenisP
While I don't doubt that writing online can indeed make you a lot of money, and you should always set optimistic goals, I think shooting for millions isn't really a realistic goal for most people.

I like the way that a famous YouTuber once put it. He said that him telling you to follow your dreams and you'll be hugely successful is like a lottery winner saying it's a smart idea to invest in lottery tickets. The fact is that 99% of people aren't going to make it huge, and the 1% that did usually did so thanks to mostly luck.

This isn't to say that hard work doesn't pay off. Depending on how much work you put into your career, you can definitely start earning anywhere between hundreds to thousands of dollars. But I wouldn't go into anything expecting to come out a millionaire.

Online writing can really help you out if you have a website of your own and know how to keep your audience fully engaged. By regularly relying on your audience whenever they post comments to your posts and pages, they get amazed and love to share ideas, thoughts and information through your posts and pages. This automatically increases targeted traffic on your website or blog and you eventually make money for real.

It is not the writing that can make you a millionaire. It is all the behind the curtain things like marketing and networking that will make a person a millionaire. There are many people out there creating great written content, but their stuff is rarely seen or read. It is all the infrastructure stuff that is really important.

Good point and what I am also pointing out. He did harvest his millions not entirely because of what he wrote. But from different sources stemming from his creations. He learned the process and he made use of everything available.

Yeah I agree! Without good marketing strategy you will not make lots of sales on your content. I knew a lot of people making great content but do not earn big money. Some of them didn't know that they could make bigger sales if they have a good system in place that do the marketing for them.

The comedian Kevin Hart has this mantra that he chants before a show: Everbody want to be famous, but nobody wants to do the work. The only this people ever see is his show, not all the work that goes into it. It is the same with writing. People think we just sit here playing on the computer all day.

Absolutely! I have also once watched a video on TedX where the speaker says "Everybody wants a good life, but not everybody gets a good life". People who really gets great opportunity are those courageous to get started and are also courageous to endure despite many failures.

If you ever pay attention to US politics, there is this debate over "economic inequality". Basically, there are people who feel it is "unfair" that a person flipping burgers at McDonald's can't earn enough buy a home and raise a family. The thing is, those jobs are for those just entering the workforce. It is a job where you learn to have a job. It is not supposed to be where you plant roots unless you actually are moving up through the organization. There are too many people without drive and ambition wanting things handed to them.

A lot of people should realise that talent isn't the only thing and you looking happy and successful isn't something that just happens by default. You have to put in a lot of work and study your field of work so you can be successful.

I think most things can make you a millionaire as long as you take the right steps. However, I do agree that writing can be a good path towards being successful since it is fairly easy and it doesn't really cost much to get started. I have come across a few blogs that have a very simple premise but are extremely successful and they get tons of traffic and ads and sponsors. I have to admit when I saw their blogs I got very jealous, even.

Working hard and working smart can really get you on the way to becoming a millionaire, and writing really can be one of the best avenues to do this since your education mostly covers the essentials and you've actually been practicing writing your entire life, it's just a matter of refining your skills for public consumption.

I do believe you can make your fair share of money with online writing but to make you a millionaire? I have my doubts about this statement. You'd have to write a best seller of a handful to be able to make that ammount of money

If you could help many people and produces valuable content, there is a possibility that you will become milllionaire in writing online. I actually knew someone from our country that became millionaire by writing and selling e-books.

I think all the possibilities are on the table. The problem is choosing the right one (even if it's not something you're familiar with... which would obviously be easier and more enjoyable) so you can do your best and make it profitable.

It's not easy, but it can be done. Online writing can make you a millionaire

Yeah No matter how hard it is to become really good in writing, I think if you just keep on learning, you'll arrived at the point where all your exerted effort will be paid off.

That's why in this game you'll need to have a lot of patience, because things may not happen as you wish (at least not initially)... So, it may take a little longer than expected.

I am really experiencing frustrations and sometimes I felt that I almost want to quit in this writing online journey but I reading what other online writers have gone through, I realized that this endeavor is not an overnight success and requires hard work, perseverance, and strong determination. And I would lose if I choose to quit.

when you think about giving up again, always keep in mind that you are definitely not the only one who goes through this kind of frustration (and in fact, it will never be).

The ups and downs are part of the building process.

I do not know whether writing online could make me a rich millionaire but i am sure someone out there had already became a rich person. If one concentrate a full time on writing online with affiliate and ads, I am sure you will be rich but not a millionaire.

Actually, I find it a bit strange to set a million dollars as some kind of goal. What should be more important is what you can do with the money.

For example, if to write to make that million dollars requires you to work day and night non-stop for years, by the time you make that million dollars, you may have lost your health, your friends and your family along the way.

So, the way I see it, the better approach is to write at a pace that comfortable for you. Write and have time to live. If things work out, you may make that million dollars. If things don't work out that well, you will still have a good life.

Merely working for someone will never make you rich, unless you literally spend your whole life not doing anything else but working, and where the fun in that? Luckily one doesn't need to be a millionaire, or even rich, to have a decent lifestyle, so it's much more essential thing to find a perfect balance between work and free time.

That is also true that one doesn't need to be a millionaire to have a decent lifestyle. I don't think that most millionaires, when they were just starting up, that they don't aim for the millions. I think the common traits of the successful people is the passion to work with the talent that they have. They've found the way to work contentedly. In this way, they don't feel strained with too much work and not enough time. When you enjoy what you do, you don't look for balance.

To some people, becoming a billionaire with online writing seems to be an impossibility. I recently joined a community of online entrepreneurs whereby I saw people making between $12000 - $15000 in just two months. Initially, I was shocked at this because I never knew anyone could make $100 a month online. Online writing is misconceived by many people thinking that the exact way to make money as a writer is to write for freelancing platforms such as Fiverr, freelancer, Hirewriter and so on.

The best way to make money online writing is to have your own website and get your audience fully engaged. You have a lot of writing tasks to do with your very own website and wouldn't have any chance to write for any freelance writing site at all.

Writing a book or anything that you want to write is a passion for me. We see some people who loves writing and they also make it as a job also. It is the same in online writing. You can earn money in writing online but I am no sure if it will help you to be a millionaire someday. Maybe if you become a famous online writer, you can be one of the millionaires.

Online writing can definitely make you a millionaire, but the journey has to be gradual. When you get started, you first experience some difficulties and later get over it. Consistency is the major secret to any online success and trying it will make you glad soonest. To make the most out of online writing, it begins with your very own website or blog and can turn your life around in the nearest future. Invest much time into online writing and you will be glad you did.

Nothing is impossible if you put your mind in it. But in reality earning a million by writing online is like hitting the lottery. Odds are 1 in 10 million. Its more feasible to earn that much offline by writing would be best selling novels and scriptwriting for movies.

Online blogging and content writing could earn you that much if your a movie star or celebrity in which you have a legion of loyal fans. But if you're just a simple blogger or content writer, I'm telling you that the chances are the most you could earn in a year is around $50000.

What I've been telling on here is it's a good start to do. When you keep your craft and develop it, there's a high chance you'll get offers for other merchandise based on your creations as a writer. This is how this writer got his millions. It seems to be in an instant but in reality it isn't. It's a long process and you are right, it is a gradual step. He just knew what he was doing and things get going from there.

Wow, making so much from writing fantasy stories, he should be a very creative and talented person to earn that much from it.I always knew people to make decent money from writing but not to that extent,I believe I can make some reasonable amount if I sharpen my writing skills,I just need to learn more about a good style of writing and check my grammar a bit and I will good to go.This is really inspiring and motivating.

As long as you have the skills and actually take the time to work hard and build good relationships with other people at the start of your career, any job can really pay off in the long run, even online writing. It helps to practice and just keep on working and accepting potential jobs as you never know when you'll catch your big break.

Wow, a millionaire writer online that's so cool. I haven't heard about this story and Zhang Wei. He must be a good writer that he had able to get millions through his writings and earning in royalties. I guess there's nothing really impossible if you're going to put your 100% in your craft. There's no shortcut or magic for sure but hard work and perseverance to pursue your dreams will drive you in a long way.

Well in my opinion to earn millions writing online really depends on 3 things:
1.Skill - you should be the best writer on a given niche.
2.Opportunities - you should be at the right place at the right time with the right person who needs your skill set.
3.Luck - you really need to be very lucky to earn millions in writing.

Luck indeed does come calling from time to time and it pays to be prepared for it. If for example you believe that some day you'll be that novelist whose books is purchased by millions of people, you need to have that novel written so you can submit it should someone request to see the manuscript any time.

Also in order to be seen by the right people you need to be willing to make sacrifices. Write something and give it away free. Having your book out on the net, someone, maybe a literary agent or filmmakers looking for interesting stories could stumble into it. It' takes lucks yes, and hard work.

I also heard about such a job but I didn’t know that it is so well paid.
Anyway, I already have a job that brings me pretty good money and I wouldn't change anything else.
I started to do some passive income streams and even if at the beginning it was harder, now I already have beautiful results and everything is easy.
