I'm very optimistic that I will be owing a popular and a must go to site especially when it has to do with my niche. I'm not leaving any stone unturned as it comes to putting in place all that my sites need to be what I desire it to me.I'm looking at living off my freelancing or online career in no time and in the coming (five) years,it should be stable enough to rake in decent income either weekly or monthly.

I'm seeing myself leaving very low paying niche to higher niches, at least with my effort now which is trying to learn new skills and horn existing ones. I see myself moving higher in my freelancing career.

Whatever happens, I think we always have to stay optimistic for the future (despite the ups and downs)... After all, no one knows what's coming around the corner, right?

Looking to the future with strength and determination makes all the difference in results.

This is one good goal. It's just that you have to watch the trend in the industry. And also have to pay attention to the online spending that you have to do on the jobs. I think service based sites are good. But living completely off such sites is not going to be that easy. And so one has to be super understanding about how you approach it. I don't know how good those are going to be in that context.

In the next five years, I want to make sure that I've joined a community of the most successful entrepreneurs online. Presently, I have been able to join a community where I hope to become highly successful in the next six months. I have already created my WordPress website and have started writing articles on it gradually. I was made to realize that the best way to make money online is by owning a website. I never knew I could create a WordPress website, but have been able to achieve that now.

You sound very optimistic here, and I wish you all of the success in the world. I would also love to see that kind of success in five years from now. I am not exactly sure how to go about it, but I have been getting a lot of ideas from blogs, forums like this, and from networking with people who are also very successful in their online endeavors, so I learn a little bit more every day.

I also want to open a wordpress account after school. I tried last year but the platform seemed to be complicated.

I read recently how to own a successful website using wordpress and this is what I intend to do.

Recently I joined wealthy affiliate marketing on the behest of my online webmaster mentor and I must confess that it's not easy but I'm starting to get a hang of the work. I have actually succeeded in building my own first website making use of WordPress and it's free. In 5 years coming time, I definitely see myself mastering the deal in affiliate marketing.

I'm not sure, to be honest. If I could correctly predict or see what my online career would be like in the next five years, it would be amazing, but unfortunately, we cannot do that. If I had to have a bit of guess, I would hope that within the next few years that my gaming site grows a bit to a point where I can use it almost as a second job in terms of revenue.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

JoeMilford
I totally understand your response here. I was asking the question, which I could have phrased better, in a way that forces us to think of "long term" goals or hopes for our online gig(s). I am not sure where I will be either in my freelancing world, but, like you, I would love to be able to make enough money to really consider this freelancing stuff to be a second or a viable career instead of what i would just call a "side hustle" at my level right now. I do think that I will still be doing this in five years, but I am not what capacity I will be at by then--hopefully better off financially than I am now!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That would really be NICE, I would be so happy if I could turn my website into a second income because I am dirt poor. Even if it just made $100 a month that would be really nice and help me out a lot. But I am very optimistic about stuff like that because I see so many failure websites and so many websites not making a dime.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Tronia
Exactly, I think that making a website getting to the point where it's generating revenue isn't as easy as some people think. It takes a lot of time but more importantly, effort and energy. Just stick in there and I am sure that you will make it happen. You seem to have realistic expectations and that's what sets you apart from many other website owners! That's a really good thing.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have been making websites since the early 2000's and I have seen so many mistakes that people make and my own included. I know I had the if you build it they will come mentality when I was younger and I built a small network of forums and blogs and it was a complete waste of time and money.

Thats why my current blog/forum is a hobby of mine and something that I have a passion about. I am not out there to make money. I am here because I love what I do and I want to help people if I can and I love great conversations.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I am with you here, Soulwatcher. Even a $100 a month that I don't have now from working online would be a great welcome to my income. Then, if I learned how to get $100 from one of my sites, I could apply this to other sites and try to get several of these income-earning online avenues pulling in revenue for me simultaneously. I am also optimistic and hoping to expand my monetization in the online world as I progress and learn.

I have worked as a technical writer and trainer for clients in the utility, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries. I have also worked with schools implementing tech education programs for students in grades 3-12. I have also done quite a lot of volunteer work with various nonprofits. I'm currently volunteering with the American Red Cross as a disaster responder. I'm having trouble deciding on a direction to follow, as I have many things I'm interested in. I think most likely I will have my own consulting and life coaching business-I just need to choose which direction to specialize in.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I would suggest you own a website where you can teach upcoming freelancers things about technical writing. There are those that will be willing to pay for that.

You have a good experience. You can definitely start your own sourcing agency in that case. I think that would be a good business model. You can see that it can be good for both networking. And it can be good enough for the future considering trends are going towards that. That's what I can suggest based on your description.

Well, I am very willing to do something different in my life and to experience anything new as much as I could. I think one of it would be an online career. This, for example, is actually one good example. I am very opinionated woman but it never cross my mind to post it and get paid out of it. So, I guess somehow I am willing to venture more of this.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

JoeMilford
I am also totally to trying new things and new and creative ways of expressing myself or of using all sorts of media. There's nothing wrong with being opinionated, just as long as our opinions are educated ones, I think. There are a lot of people out there who do have online careers, but so far, I have not reached that level of income and security. In the next five years, I hope to have at least doubled or tripled my online income, and I am working hard on that goal.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

With Internet neutrality in trouble. I wish to reduce my online income. And I want to go more offline and provide the offline services too. I am guessing that in near future this may help me to some extent. I have spent a lot of time on the web. And it's time now to go back to the real world and enjoy the life. And also going to do the freelancing that works for the offline world. Like say gardening, photography, small shop etc. I know there is more money online but more frustration too. I don't want to be frustrated anymore for losing the online income. No more that strategy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

JoeMilford
Great point here, overcast. Who knows how bad this attack on internet neutrality is going to hurt all of us here. I think that it is totally heinous and an attack on our liberties. I think that all of us have run into frustrating moments with our online endeavors, but throw the neutrality issue into the mix, and things are going to get even more difficult. I am trying to stay positive about this, but I am definitely a bit worried.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
The issue by making it harder to have open internet. They may limit the online earning for small players. And this results in the option of limiting online earning too. So I think this will surely affect freealncers and many others who are relying on the internet as a career. It all comes down to how to handle from here onwards. I guess that those with the offline jobs are now more safe.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I am on your side, I had been online for the past 9 years, wasted my time with pennies and dollars. It is time for me to step into the real world offline too. I am doing it now.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
Yes. But the things is that offline world will have more competition. And more people will be jobless too. And lot of them have to work for the pennies. So it all sounds easy but it may come harder frm here onwards. People have to be really patient on this for things to properly work.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

The internet neutrality thing is a huge shame really. I can't believe that it is even a debate but that is for a different topic. I actually disagree with you about more money being available for online work. I would say that it is actually the opposite, for the moment anyway. I think that if you can get a job in the real world, chances are it will be a lot better in terms of pay than most online work

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
Yes. it's sad that when bandwidth is huge and there is no issue with space or even the people. They are trying to control people and their views on the things. So it is shame that they are having the issues so far. I am not sure though some of the time freelancing is a bit hard. And some of the time setting up a career is even more harder. If internet becomes costly freelancing will end.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

There is nothing wrong with having a mix of online and offline income. And I will be honest when I use to work I had A LOT OF MONEY! I worked 2 jobs, one job at a steel company and my other job was delivering pizza. And I LOVED delivering pizza, I use to work 20hrs a week and make $300~$400 a week. Plus I had my income from the steel company. As far as online goes I haven't had too much success making money online.

P.S. boy does I miss the days of walking around with $100's in my pocket. Now I walk around with an IOU and lint LOL.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
Yes those days are now long gone. Though some people will continue to earn from adsense and other channels. Not saying online income will be completely lost. But those days of earning like say 1000$ a day are long gone. And that much fast earning is a bit harder now that systems are getting matured.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Soulwatcher
I honestly think that earning online its self is in major trouble. Because social media is taking everything over and before too long websites like this will not exist or will be a shell of its former self. Because everyone will be using social media and not make new websites.

Also, Amazon pretty much has the retail market on lockdown they are even a threat to Walmart. So the odds of someone starting an online business and succeeding is worse than slim to none. So in other words, the days of making money off the internet as we know it today are numbered.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
Yes. If you have checked steemit and other cryptocurrency. This online money making thing is going on different direction. So that's I think going to change the world. I would say that new problems will come in too. And more new changes is going to be there in short time. I guess we have to wait for 2018 to see how it all works out.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mildredtabitha
I never intended to work online for that long but I see myself being in that position where I am able to hire other writers. Probably owning two to three websites or one forum generating income. All this will be achievable if I don't completely quit online work for offline work.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

peachpurple
Even though if I have a full-time job offline, I won't be letting go my recipe blog yet, maybe reduce the time online. Still, Hubpages is the best site that I had been hanging on for the past 9 years, still earning but I am inactive.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
Yes that is the right approach. After some time when you start to make decent money. You should start to hire other people. That's the way it should be. And you should think few years ahead in that direction. That way many people can get out of the regular work routine. I am sure if you can manage this then in few years you'd be giving other people jobs.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Making an income off of websites online has always been a dream of mine and at one point in my life I kind of went crazy and put a lot of money into one my websites. And I started to get some results and then the website started growing too fast and I didn't have the resources to handle the growth. So I had to sell the website and I lost a lot of money.

Keep in mind that was 2006 and if you fast forward to today it's a billion times harder to have a successful website in today's day and age. So my advice is never to spend any more money then your willing to lose and count on a ton of hard work. And don't give up because a lot of new webmasters fold up shop in 3 months or less because it's so hard to get a website going!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mildredtabitha
I am glad to learn about your experience and thank you for this advice. I will keep this in mind when starting a new forum or website. I intend to focus on only one and to invest on it when I have enough resources or someone I can depend on for advice and solutions. I also agree that making a website successful in today's life is really not easy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

JoeMilford
Soulwatcher,
I think that your perspective here is really interesting. You actually point out the problem of being TOO successful TOO fast. This is a welcome problem, I guess, in the minds of some, but it can also devastate a business. Years ago, I was in the furniture import business, and our company took off, and we just kept filing orders up and down the eastern seaboard. Well, the containers from Indonesia where we were getting the furniture would get stuck for different periods of time, give or take, in the processing of the shipping yard, so our orders kept getting filled late, and we ended up having a lot of disgruntled and frustrated and lost customers. We could not handle out growth, and that can be a problem in any business, online or not, of course.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Soulwatcher
The same can be said about websites and hosting. You're serving a few visitors and your hosting is $9.99 a month. Then you get more visitors and now your hosting is $20 a month and then you get even more visitors and now your hosting is $50 a month. And then you get even more visitors and now your hosting is $300+ a month and it just keeps going up. And you're going to be screwed unless you know what you're doing or have very deep pockets to handle the growth.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You've got to hold onto such goals and work towards achieving them. It's not that easy, but that doesn't mean that you can't make it happen.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I am glad I came across this topic because I never made any goal. The topic made me to think critically and so I came up with that goal. I might change it next year after finding a stable freelance job but I won't hesitate to try and make such goals to come true.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think it will die off. I am planning to find a full time job now because my online job does not fetch much money, hardly enough to but a cu of starbuck coffee and I am draining my eyes out. Hence, my blogging online job will reduce significantly as in the next 5 years.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
No matter how tough it gets, do not compare that with what you make online. Let the offline job be a platform to make it better.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

overcast
It won't die off. It's just going to earn less. Same like most of the jobs you know which are desk based. I too am stuck with offline full time job. But the freelancing was much better earner. It's pity that it is earning low. I am not sure how that can be solved over the period of years. I think the thing about freelancing is that it is going to be slow and harder in few years.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Soulwatcher
Online income use to be great around 2003~2008 and things started to slow down because more and more people started getting into making money online and people kept underbidding each other and if you fast forward to today. People work on the internet for peanuts and people still underbid each other and it blows my mind!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes it is starting to replace real jobs where physical work mattered. And now due to virtual jobs. I think it's possible that this may create a bubble. And this may end up making more of a issue for those who have no real world skills. You can see that freelancing skills and career takes time on that front.

Five years ago, a writer friend interviewed me and asked the same question. I said, in five years, I will have my books published, my websites and blog launched and I will be earning enough royalties from the book and revenues from the websites so that I can travel to Europe. Five years down, I have published two boos and I have launched half a dozen websites and blogs. However, my books and websites are not earning me enough and I still can not travel to Europe. Thus, I still have that dream, to earn enough from my books and websites so that I will generate good income.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Wow. You are making progress, though! You published the books. There is something called "The Pareto Principle," which refers to the 80/20 rule, such as 80% of your net profits come from 20% of what you offer. (Google it for lots of articles). The jist is to focus your energies on the things that bring you the most amount of money-the main tasks, customers, etc., as you get the most return on your investment, rather than trying to do too much.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

If I join a company and get a regular job, I will earn more than what I am earning now. I have even been offered good jobs. However, I enjoy being a freelancer and I am happy with my conditions. I do things not just they bring me money, but also because I enjoy doing that work. happiness matters most. I could have eared more if I had written on the topics, however, I would not be happy by writing on the topics that I did not love.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think you have some very good goals and you have met your goals and you should feel proud because not everyone can make their 5-year goal. But the important thing is you have self-worth because you have met your goal. And money is not everything, its nice but it cant buy happiness and that's why so many rich people kill themselves or die of a drug overdose.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have been able to fulfill some portions of the goal I had five years ago, and hopefully, I will be able to fulfill the goals I have made currently in five years. I am an optimist man and I always hope for the best. Money is not everything but being able to sleep on a cosy bed is better than sleeping on the sidewalks.

I am a writer too, like you, and I have had similar goals and experiences with the things I am doing online. I have not given up yet, but I do realize that I need to keep my other job in order to stay afloat and to pay my bills! I am trying to keep advertising my books on my blogs though, and I have some purchases trickle in here and there, but they are not enough to become the sole source of my income. That being said, I know a lot of people who right and can't find an audience for their work, so I should not complain!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
I am not complaining either. However, when you are a writer, or a freelance writer to be precise, it is very difficult to make a living. You work 12 hours a day, and still cannot earn a decent living. If I was not based in Nepal where 1 USD translates into 104 Nepalese Rupees, I would have never earned a living. However, there is something that you keep on hoping, I could earn better if I opt for a regular job. I have education, I have experience, I can easily get a good job, however, I never wanted a regular job.

I am hoping that I have established some form of online presence in the future. I have my current blog/form and I would like to open another one in the next year or so. But that's all going to depend on how good or bad my current website is doing in a year. As it is right now it's off to a slow start and I am in the process of rebuilding the website in hopes of attracting new members. I just hope it works or I am going to have to go to plan B even though I don't know what plan B is at the moment LOL.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I'd say that you already have a presence as an administrator and a contributor to many forums. That's already a good foundation to build upon. Like everyone is always telling me in these forums, just don't give up. Of course, I have gathered from some of your comments that you have been at this for a while, so you already know this, lol.

I am so very positive when I do something. Being negative is not helpful to me and also to everyone. So even though it's hard to be in online business, I don't give up. Because I see myself a successful online businessman in five years. So I must work hard to accomplish it. We just need an inspiration to do something so we can continue to achieve our goals.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Five years?

Actually, five years in cyberspace is a very long time. I prefer to think in terms of one year at a time. Why one year? Well, one year covers a complete cycle of seasons, both climatically as well as business-wise.

In one year's time, I expect to have completed my first ebook. I am currently in the process of creating an online course for learning English. So far I have completed more than 50 chapters already. Still, a lot of revision needed. So, in one year's time, I should have a mature product for the market.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Aree,
That's a really good point--I guess that, as fast as the online world moves, are goals all become more and more "short term" goals and things which we are trying to in order to keep up with a rapidly changing and mutating market. Sure, there are some things which will never go away, like some forms of social media, but I like your perspective here, and I wonder how different the responses in this thread would have been had I asked about one year goals versus five year ones.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Thank you for your vote of confidence. However, I would like to say something about social media. Yes, Facebook is very big and strong. Now. Once upon a time, there were other social media services which, at that time, were just as big and strong. Now they are gone.

It's hard to imagine a world without Facebook but it's not immortal. So, one day, Facebook will be gone. And something else will take its place.

I'd like to look at it in a more optimistic point. And I'd say in five years I'm making more money online than in my offline job. I will most probably be writing in a European country, preferably in Norway.

Within the next five years, I see having so much business that I will outsource most of it. My goal is to turn this into a real business. There is only so much work one person can handle, Moreover, doing my own sales and marketing limits me further.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

This sounds like a good plan, and I wish you all the success with it. I can see this happening for myself as well, and hopefully in sooner than five years. I am already taxed to keep up with the workload I've already set-up for myself currently, so, if things started really taking off, I would at least need an assistant. I am already an online instructor, so my correspondence is pretty overwhelming in that way, and I would someone to help me with the correspondence just with my side gigs in the freelancing arena. However, i do foresee a long period of time where I will be doing all of it until I can afford to pay someone to help.

I'm one of those people that don't really look that far ahead if I'm completely honest. Throughout my life, even though that I'm still relatively young, I've learned how unpredictable life is. You can plan something for next week and then the total opposite happens.

But still, I would hope to be in freelancing still but making, even more, money so I would be very secure and stable. Besides that, I got high hopes for my blog which is doing great - beyond my expectations.

I actually haven't put much thought into what my online freelancing career will be in five years. I'll probably still be doing some survey work, a little writing, and a little forum posting maybe, but my main focus has always been my offline freelance work.

I'm going through grad school with a friend currently, and we're putting together a plan of action for a video production company we hope to start after we graduate. So in five years, I hope to have our feet off the ground with our new business and have some good clients under out belt to work with.

Good luck to you on your video production project--that's awesome! I am a bit like you as well--I do have certain hopes for more online pay coming my way, but, like you, my offline "day-job" work is much more profitable, and that's what keeps the wolves at bay in terms of the bills. I will also, most likely, still be doing survey stuff and forum posting, like you, but I plan on shifting the bulk of my writing time and expertise to offline projects which pay more (hopefully) than the online projects I've been doing so far.

I see myself progressing in this field of work, because I love this kind of job. I don't have to deal with bosses and colleagues that gives you stress from daily job. I am thinking to grow my knowledge to put up my own website.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I totally understand what you are saying here, but i do think that this freelance thing comes with a lot of its own stress as well, though. At my other job, I do have a boss (he is an awesome one though), and there are workplace stressors which come with the territory, but I trade those off for the added job security which I get--this security is not yet procurable for me in the freelance market as of yet. I love being my own boss, but it is not exactly paying all of the bills so far, so I still depend upon my day job for the brunt of my expenses.

I can still see myself doing some online freelancing career in the next year. Even I find a regular job, I will still continue earning money online since this is really a great help for me. I do believe in the potential of this online industry and I'm sure that when most of the countries have an easy access to fast internet, all of the work is now accessible online and can be done with the comfort of your home. When that happened, it will definitely lessen the traffic because most of us now are doing their work at home or our economy will grow since most of us now don't spend the money for transportation, meal allowance and all sort of stuff since it's much cheaper to eat at home and any other extracurricular activities will be gone. The more money that we save, the better.

Over the limit, with the pace at which am going right now, i expect nothing short of going over any of my set targets or goals in the next few years.

I just branched into freelancing not too long ago. And in this short time i've been able to gain some great achievements. Drawing from this, am pretty certain that in the next five years, my freelancing would have gone beyond any boundaries shattering whatever obstacle or barrier limiting my intended goals.

Put aside my self prediction of freelancing in the next five years, am generally predicting that freelancing within the next five years will become an all too familiar channel as we've seen a tremendous rise and show of interest in the freelance world over the past few years.

In the next five years, I really want to have my financial freedom and this is what I have been struggling for all this while. I really want to live a life of fulfilment and know I have to work hard towards achieving that. I have begun the journey already to financial freedom which is the goal I want to achieve in five years' time.

I am very optimistic about my freelancing life, because it is not a short term thing but rather a long term thing, freelancing is an important thing in my life that I do and I take it more serious than any other thing in my life.

When I first became a freelancer, I was just too desperate for the earnings and most times I didn't do my work well, I got really depressed because I wasn't sharing the same testimonies as others and I wasnt making much gain. Outwardly I was seen as a very aggressive and angry person, that was all because I didn't see freelancing as a way of passion rather than a source of income, but now as I find joy in freelancing despite the pay I see it as a long term career and it only gets better with it.

I am currently an online seller but I don't have my own site. I hope that my business will further grow over the coming years. I also want to have my own eCommerce site. I know that I will have to work really hard to achieve those goals.

I am a freelance programmer, and also a homeschooling and stay-at-home mom to 3 kids. My husband and I have been talking about our plans about web design. We really want to have our own web application to be ready, and then he can find users/clients for the application, and I will continue to maintain or enhance the application. This is our goal, and I hope it can be done in 5 year time. Though we are excited about this plan, I have to take into considerations where I still have to homeschool my children and take care of the home. These definitely slow down our plan, but they are my highest priority.

Besides the web application, I am planning to set up my blog and work on affiliate marketing. I do hope I can earn from affiliate marketing. A bigger goal is actually to be able to consult or come up with a product about homeschooling, though that's still far away from now.

Fives years is not a close one in my opinion, so any freelancer that pitch in hard work, dedication, persistence and passion into the work would definitely be successful in the field. Personally, looking at myself not being up to 1 year into freelancing work online, I can say that I have improved quite well and considering the space of 5 years, I'm absolutely going to triple max my success already.

Freelancing will be much bigger in the next 5 years. Younger generation are slowly starting to realize that freelancing is one of the best ways to earn money while working on your free time in order to earn some money to support further studies, complement current work, or just to help contribute in the daily financial activities of the household. It is easy, hassle-free, and only requires a relatively basic level to start building your portfolio.

Like most startup online freelancers it's a bit hard to earn good money when your just starting but I believe that if I put my heart and mind in it, that I'll be a successful freelancer in a year or two.

Probably doing the same old, same old. Been on the grind for nearly a decade now, and while I'd like to get out and just work for someone else, get rid of all the responsibility, the money and the hours are simply too good to pass by. But I'm not looking to scale the business up, as I'm very happy at where I am right now.

I've already set my goal that in five years time I'll be earning $1000 per day working freelance online. I know it's a daunting task but I have my plans all made-up already and slowly but surely with hard work and focus I will persevere and I'm confident that I would hit my goal.

That one is actually pretty difficult to predict just because it tends to hinge on what opportunities are out there and those things can change pretty rapidly, which I have experienced here in the last few years. I hope that it means more opportunities to come and things can flourish, but who is to say at this point.

Five years from now, I see myself running the most popular tech blog in my country, whose Alexa rank, domain authority, and daily traffic will get the attention of Advertisers. As a result, there will be a significant increment in my monthly income. This is because my blogs are built on long-term goals where investments have been made. Investments in the form of time, effort, and finances.

In five years time, I also see myself completely disassociated with any offline business I am currently doing. I would've boosted my online presence with the relationship built on trust with other popular bloggers in my niche, and hence, made myself relevant. I also see myself as an employer of labor, where I'll have my online business being managed by other professionals in the field.

Lest I forget, I'm currently developing my programming skills, in hopes that in the near future I will be able to develop more Android applications and games, then market them on Android Stores such as Uptown and Google PlayStore.

Graciiaa,
Your ambition and enthusiasm is awesome! I think it is awesome that you know enough code to create games and apps, and I am jealous of that expertise and talent. Also, it seems that every time I think I have come up with an idea for a cool new app, I do a little research, and someone has already beat me to it! I think that, if i did not have so many offline responsibilities, in terms of my other jobs, then I would be able to devote more time to inventing concepts for apps and maybe I'd get ahead of the curve on that finally.

I'm very optimistic with my imaginations of the future and my hope that those imaginations will really come true. I am actually a freelance writer and I imagine as a online content writer (full-time, preferably) so that I'll have more earnings and have a stable salary. Also, I envision to become an online writer whose skills are at par with most professionals in the field. Hopefully with my experiences in the present I can be the person that I am imaging in the future.

I've barely scratched the surface when it comes to freelancing but it has been very rewarding at this point. Three years after leaving a high paying but a very stressful full time regular job as finance head of an advertising company, I am earning so much more and enjoying my time as a freelancer. On the side, I am honing my programming and web designing skills to make the most of online opportunities.

I see myself operating my own full time, online-based business within the year and I'm quite positive about it. It's a mission+business venture and profit is not the primary motivation in it. I hope it will set the standard in the industry and eventually, I expect that it will provide passive income and allow me to slow down in my freelancing work.

I believe I will have a great career doing freelancing. I think I have a lot more potential to be a great freelancer than to be a corporate slave. I will have flexible time and I will be working towards financial freedom. I see myself learning how to do proper investing and doing a stock trading business as my main source of income. I hope to be financially free with the 15-20 years to come.

I guess I see myself as better off compared to how I am right now. I don't think that I'll be drastically different in terms of money. But I'm sure I'll have improved and learned more about earning better for the future.

I'm still a newbie to an online world I started joining some communities last year hopefully for the next five years I will be able to level up my skills. I see great opportunities online so I will continue to learn so I could have a better career in the future. I've been dreaming to have my offline business someday and hopefully, I could also link my business in online world.

In that time I would have been retired from my office job and unless I will be extended with my tenure then I will be a full time freelancer. When the happens the quality of my life will be lowered because I am presently earning a good income and freelancing just couldn't match my salary. But that is life for us so I have to be prepared. My take for now is affiliate marketing with my own website to house the products that I will promote.

Personal growth is an important goal for each of us. It is very important to choose a career for yourself that will not only positively influence your growth as a professional, but also solve social problems. I advise you to take a closer look at the job board in climate change
