Actually I'm not good at this things about referrals. But it's so bothering me because I get jealous when every time those other people made their referrals. Especially about earning money where you just share your link and you get paid. Jeez, so really bothering me. Hoping to learn some methods of doing about this thing.

Jealousy will get you nowhere What are the most successful methods for marketing your referral link? Take the success of others as inspiration, not as a threat.

Affiliate / referral links can also be a very sore subject, as some feel like they'd be "cheated" out of something if another person was to profit from their actions, so the medium which you use to share the links is an important aspect to consider.
But the good thing is that in most cases once the link is up, it will stay up for years to come, meaning that you will keep on earning commission even after you move to other ventures.

It really isn't all that difficult to learn once you have a basic understanding of social networking. For one thing, you're already posting here on ListingDock, so that alone is a pretty good start. When it comes to sharing and getting clicks on your referral links, you have to learn the different methods of sharing your links with targeted demographics. If you target a demographic which you know is going to be interested in what you're sharing, you're significantly raising the odds of having your referral be used. For example, if you want to provide a referral for a website where you can make money online, you'd be far better off posting about it in a community like /r/WorkOnline (a sub-forum of the Reddit website about earning money online) as opposed to /r/funny (a sub-forum dedicated to posting funny pictures). That's the fundamental side of it, and most else comes down to luck and diligence.

I think earning referrals and retaining them from one site or product to another. That is one of the harder things out there. And many people try it with their site. And so far I have noticed not a lot of them succeed in that case. It depends on how the people are landing on the referral link. And it can be really harder in either case.

Try creating a YouTube channel and post your link there. Using YouTube is very effective, to get good traffic to your site. Also you can put your link in your fb profile page and include it in your social media posts.

I find this a great idea though and I also thought about doing this before, however I kind of hesitated because of my confidence. YouTube, I guess, especially with vlogging needs a lot of confidence to look at the camera and talk to your self. It's also hard to maintain image especially when you're not that fashionable, stylish, and good looking. Most viewers nowadays actually prefer fun and entertaining people and it makes some introverts (including me), inappropriate for YouTube. However, YouTube can also boost your confidence and if you want to try and get out of that introvert zone, then YouTube is a good platform especially with sharing your referral links.

From what I have learned from recent updates. The youtube does not like affiliate links. And it is catching the people who are using that. And so it's always better to avoid the affiliate links. You can use the bitly links though. It may work out to find out if the user is running those type of the links. So I am sure using the affiliate links other than amazon would be risky on youtube.

I advertise my referral links on all my social media platform especially on Facebook and other forums. To make the best of most referral programs especially those that has to do with referring people to a new forum it good to always be the first to find out about an earning site first, people would join the site through your reflink but for products it good to write reviews about the products and emphasizing more on the values and then embed your reflinks, it will help to make more people be interested in the products.

It's great to read that you share your referral links on most social media sites which is really good for you. I think that is a great way to go about it.

Yea,it one of the good ways to really get people to signup through you.you get people more that way that posting on blogs since people mostly get to blogs to just find out information about a specific thing and might not seek out another thing but with social media people pay more attention to what is shared to their timeline and feed.

I haven't tried yet posting referral link in a forum. I think some forums do not allow their members posting of referral links. Writing reviews is a good way to promote products because people like to read reviews before making a purchase. Buyers would want to know what others thought or have experienced on the products that they want to buy.

I think including your referral link to your forum is a very effective way of getting hits. As a forum user myself I am attracted when a signature of another forum member is about a topic that I am interested in. If I make a website, I'll surely add the link to it in my forum signature. I try to talk to some of my friends on my social media sites on my referral links and try to educate them on the need to go about it. I also try to advertise with retweets on Twitter for which is good and nice.

Talking to friends and family and also trying to convince them to signup on a certain platform in a way to promote a referal link isn't such a bad idea. It's in fact one of the best first move which I recommend for anyone looking to grow on the said subject. I've done the same in the past and it did go down well.

Yes, Twitter is a great platform to market your referral link. I would search tweets that are related to the product, converse to the person talking, then it is up to the person if he/she buys. Another is on forums that are related. You can market there very high because most will be interested in what you are trying to sell.

I have never tried banner ads but I guess you need careful study where and how much to invest in it if it really has better FOI.

For free promotions, I joined Facebook groups with the same interest as mine and that would allow me to promote my offer. But if I want to reach more specific people, I used Facebook ads where I can run a campaign for as low as $1 per day. Not sure if $1 is also allowed in other countries. Here in the Philippines, it could reach from 500 - 1000 targeted people.

I am not sure if facebook allows referral links in ads. I think they used to ban in past. I guess they prefer the landing page in such case. In that context it seems like a bad idea to get your ad unapproved. I think we have to learn that part.

I mean I create a facebook page where I can share my post on my blog that contains a referral link and create an ad campaign using Facebook business manager. FB does not really allow referral link in ads.

Yes that seems to be the case. I have also tried to use referral links in post and then bump the post. But that too gets rejected. It seems like FB is very strict on that point. It seems to be hit and miss.

I market my referral link through forum signature and email signature. I also post the referral link on my blogs and websites. I once managed to bring a half a dozen referrals for The Forum Wheel by promoting the referral banner on my website. I also sometimes share the referral link on the social media sites like facebook and twitter.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Well, I don't use any such email signatures for promoting my referral links. But I use other mediums mentioned in your comments. I'll to add that the point you made on using forums or blogs like that of forum wheel to promote your links is a very effective method. I spoke about such mediums in my previous comment below. Paid to click (PTC), get paid to click (GPT) are another great mediums of promoting referral links.

The time I shared a referral link and it became successful, was on Facebook groups. The thing about referral links is that you should get real people to register on it. If you share on PTC sites, your referral link will be banned.

I think swapping the link with the forums can be one way to market the link. You can see that you can refer each other in the forum. And for the same you can have some level of exchange money. That usually helps around with the money as well. I'd surely say it can be a good option on that front. I am not sure how good it is for marketing though. But for some programs it works out.

I saw a lot of ways on how to be successful when it comes in marketing your referral link. Some of them use social media like Facebook, Twitter or even Instagram. You must have many followers so that many people can see your referral link. You can also join in some groups Facbook. If you have an account in YouTube, you can use it that way. If you are a blogger and have your own website, you can post it there. It is your choice in which way look easy on you.

Hows your conversion? I mean does the posting of social media pages helps. I mean how many people get under your link. And how active they remain. From my experience it's something like not much conversion. That's what I have learned.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

This is my question too. How's the conversion from the top social media? Since this is the most common site to post referral links, users tend to just ignore it since it's somehow saturated. The conversion is low and they do seemed easy but the returns are not so good.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes as facebook and twitter change their algorithm every now and then. And it can be really hard to be around some of the successful marketing campaigns. So on that note you can see that referral link based post may or may not work out.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes, Facebook and Twitter change very often. Just this 2018, Facebook announced another change in their algorithm. Zuckerberg states that they will be focusing on helping us find relevant content in order for us to have more meaningful social interactions. Meaning, they will be screening posts from businesses who spam and uses similar spamming tactics to bait and lure users. These types of deceiving ads will finally have a significant drop in their reach. I just don't know how this is affect those who are legitimate and harmless ads though.

Yes that is something that needs to be taken care of there. I have found out that referral links based work needs to be thought out. I think it works in the groups. But it may not work out in the pages. I have yet to learn how this works better as of now.

In order to market your referral link effectively, you can simply leverage some simple methods such as posting the links to online communities as your signature at the bottom of each of the posts you make. You have hundreds of Ad posting sites which are free to use. You can leverage those Ad posting sites such as Craigslist and many others and you will get a lot of backlinks to your site in no time.

Just as a lot of commenters stated above, social media platforms are the best and most effective way of promoting a referrall link.

I've used facebook severally in the past and every time I try, it never fails. I don't do much on twitter so am going write my recommendations on other means.

Forums, blogs, affiliate sites, paid to click or get paid to are a few and very efficient just as facebook's effectiveness in promoting links via targetted audiences. But then, it all depends on what you are trying to promote, I mean where the links go to - if it interests your targetted audience or not.

For me the most effective way of marketing your referral link is through YouTube. You need to review first the product then add comments about it whether you like it or not then leave your referral link down bellow the description of your product.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think it would depend on your product . The most successful strategy is to target people that would probably be interested in your product. Facebook is a good place to start. Don't pay for ads. Post your link in Facebook groups that are relevant to your product. However do this in a tasteful way or you may be accused of spamming.

I also recommend Pinterest. It is very simple to use, just type in the relevant search term and you will find boards related to your product. You can then post your link and get other parties to like your post.

You can also post your link on forums related to your product. Again you need to be careful or you can be accused of spamming.

I recommend generating your own traffic instead of paying for it, especially if you are starting out. Use google to do your research. Nothing is impossible and the sky is the limit. Good luck!

Referral links are very important and it helps you earn. What I do when I started was to insert it in my blog where I post with pictures and then place the link with it. It started good but after a while became lame and is not moving. I got into You Tube and created my own channel where I get to insert my links underneath my description it went really strong and good. That is just about it just finding the right social media where you can insert your referral links for others to click. Just make sure you put some interesting notes to so encourage them to click it.

I don't think any specific site is the best way although some may be better than others at conveying your message depending on what you are good at. If you are better in front of a camera or with video then it's better to use Youtube, but if you feel like you are more systematic when you are able to lay out your information in words then blogging might be better. In most cases, what people are really looking for is what they will get out of being your referral so if they see value in what you are providing they are more likely to sign up with you regardless of where they find you.

I think some people making use of swap. And I share mine you share yours model. That seems to be working. Again it may change depending on how people approach it.

I think facebook bans people posting bit.ly and other ulr shortner based links. Lot of affiliate linsk are banned too. So not all the social media sites ma allow this. So people have to be really understanding of how they work around with the marketing. I have learned my lessons and based on that choosing forums and blog posts.

@overcast In my experience they don't ban bit.ly or google shortened custom links. But then again I don't post a ton of affiliate links one behind the other. I normally space them out and make them look like professional advertisements. Not just spam.

The best resource ground to market your referral link with huge success is through the social media, especially ones you'll are very active on. Facebook and Twitter happens to be my favorite social media platform for marketing my referrals links. I can still remember vividly when I was into ponzi networking, the social media helped me a lot in getting people make use of my referrals link in joining the networking site and I made cool cash off my referrals.

You should never spam your referral link pointlessly, because no one likes that, you should always cover it with something creative. If you want a good place, you can always look at various social medias and even forums, in your signature especially. If you have something to offer, like good content, people will want to follow you.

The thing is that in order for people to use your referral links, you have to be addressing an audience that is actually going to have a use from the product or service that you're referring. The key to any online marketing endeavor is to absolutely understand your targeted demographic. Take the site Postloop for example. You're not going to provide referral links to a writing service to someone who either doesn't own a blog/forum or isn't interested in writing. Know your demographic, and target it appropriately.

Well, the best way to share your referral links is through social media. Facebook, Twitter can help in targetting referral links towards the target audience. In addition, discussion sites such as reddit, posted under the appropriate subreddit can help increase visibility of the site, because of the number of active users there. Just make sure that the referral link is legitimate.

One method I can suggest to you is to make a video. The video must be with regards to what kind of marketing you are in. Do at least a tutorial on how your business works. You can also introduce yourself as one of the successful users of the one you are marketing. Encourage them to join by citing several instances like this guy earned 100 dollars in a day just by joining in this kind of business something like that. Then in the end, you can give them your referral or link. You can post your video in YouTube or other social media platforms. This is a good networking strategy though. I have seen some YouTubers gaining money by sharing their referral links in the description of their videos.

In our modern world where technology is rampant, I think the most succesful method for marketing a referal linkwould be the use of social media accounts like facebook, twitter and instagram. Millions of people are currently using these social media accounts so this methods is the most succesful. And also, the use of youtube is a good way in marketing your referal link because if you ha a youtube channel with many subscriber or you know someone who has then ask them to put you referal link in the description of the video since there will be many users of youtube witll watch and look in the description of the video.

One strategy I always implement in getting referrals via a link to a website, product, or business is by writing about it on my blog. Promoting the link this way enables me to convince my readers on why they should join the program in the first place. They get to see the outcomes in terms of my image proofs and then they may decide to be a part.

By writing about it, they also get to know what the site or product is all about, and as such, the probability of them registering for is higher. Most people tend to ignore referral links because they do not really understand what the program behind it is all about. On the other hand, readers can ask questions on how to go about it on my site, this way, I can use their interest to my advantage.

Another effective strategy I've used is by advertising on Facebook. I set a daily budget for each Ad and ensure I use an eye-catching and unique image, because like they say, 'An image is worth a thousand words'. Active Facebook groups especially groups related to that product you are promoting are other places you can share your referral link as long as you are not spamming a lot.

You spoke about retweets on Twitter being helpful, but you could always get that from sites that offer the free social media exchange service. But then, I wouldn't really settle for retweets unless those retweeting have a large user base as followers. Promoting on Reddit might be more effective too, and if you're that serious about it, you can always try Google AdSense because the conversion is impressive.

I actually don't know a lot of things about this, but based on my observation most people who earn a lot of money with referrals are those people who are popular. People that has a lot of followers tend to outshine everyone with this type of thing because their followers will always believe them and some of them will just easily believe the referrer because of course he/she is a popular person. Therefore, I guess enable for you and others to earn a lot with referrals you must also work hard in advertising yourself on twitter so that you'll have a lot of followers that could be your potential referrals.

Definitely, you should work on your social media presence first and interact with other people rather than just link your referral immediately without any rapport, because it will just look like asking for attention rather than marketing.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Exactly. That's the mistake of most people I saw on social media and on Youtube. They don't exert effort on advertising themselves. They just copy and paste what the website says and then they do nothing. Some doesn't even bother to answer questions and so their potential referrals lose interest on visiting their links.

The best method would be to create blog posts about the site that you are promoting and insert your referral link somewhere within that post. Tell them the pros and cons of the site that you are linking to. You'll get traffic to your blog when they search reviews about that site and you might also get genuine followers if it is your blog's niche.

The second one would be to post them on forums. Within your signature, posts/threads, and comments.

I have mine on forum signatures. It has the best chance of getting clicked because members of the forum will always see it whenever you post. If they are interested in what the message of your signature is, there's a very good chance they'll your referral link and register.

First of all, you should calm down and not be jealous of others' success. Secondly, it’s not that hard to do. You need to find out your target audience and focus on what they would expect to receive. For instance, you are promoting an earning online service, then your target audience would be unemployed people, people who are seeking additional income, stay at home parents, and maybe teens and students. Then you need to post your link where those people are “gathering”. If you are interested in digital marketing, online platforms there is a lot of info online. Check it https://findfocus.net/kartra-pricing/ there is also something about digital marketing.
