Automatic discount for valued clients

Automatic discount for valued clients

From a successful businessman I have heard the term auto discount. One good way of getting hold of your valued clients is to grant them automatic discount when they transact with you. One vendor in the Sunday Market would always give me a discount and even if the discount is not much but that gesture would have a positive effect on me. When I would go to the Sunday market I would be reminded of that automatic discount and the feeling of importance has an urging on my subconscious to check the wares of that vendor. That is one lesson that is beneficial to a small business in developing a good relationship with the customers.

I feel that this is a very good idea. Everyone likes to be thought of as a valued customer. I like the idea for a business. It is nice to be rewarded. Customers that feel valued will be more apt to tell others about the experience that they have with you, which is great for your business.

This technique is applied in greater scales in malls and other establishments. The give away membership cards in which you earn points or discounts. This marketing strategy may seem complex but it all boils down to the idea of loyalties.

Yes. I have several rewards cards. I love using them. In fact, at a certain store online, I purchased a great deal of Christmas gifts for my husband. All of the stuff was on sale, so I was able to get quite a bit. Everything that I purchased earned me cash back points. Last weekend, I just happened to log into my account, and saw that I had a $52 credit! That was very nice. So, of course, I purchased about $75 worth of products and it only cost me about $23. And then a few days later, I logged into my account again and saw that I had a $21 credit! So that reward system was very nice. You can not earn cash back on everything, but I was able to get a lot of products for a small amount.

It's very strange how some companies wouldn't appreciate their loyal old customers and wouldn't reward them. That's very odd, and kinda even rude. I think companies shouldn't always be too pragmatic, because showing humanity will on the contrary bring more customers who will be satisfied with great service.

In theory, a loyal customer who buys rarely, but constantly, is always better in terms of profit to the company than someone who is new entirely. Moreover, a loyal old customer may buy things that are expensive without any fear.

This is very true. It doesn't have to be a big discount but just a few off the price. These little amount counts and the customer would always think about how you always gives him discounts and this would make him go to you every time.

Automatic discounts for valued customers: It was great idea and i agree on this. Your loyal custoner deserves a reward ofcourse because having a loyal customers is more important than the creating new customers and i believed on it. Be sure not to take advantage of you loyal customers while busy creating new one.

That certainly is a great strategy for retaining customers. There is also the likelihood that satisfied customers would probably tell their friends about the discounts they get for loyalty and would translate to more profits for the business should these new customers also end up being loyal customers eventually.

It is something anyone who sells anything online should try.

This is accurate. For valued customers, you have to give discount even if its just a small discount so that they will always look on to your product or services. They deserve it as they are loyal to your service and just to give them more good impression about you.

Exactly! The valued customers have proven to the business company that they deserve everything they should be given as appreciation for their loyalty to the company products and services.

So, if it's the discounts that should be given to them, they fully deserve it.

That's an excellet prospect and idea. Loyal customers should be rewarded with permanent discounts and gifts. Imagine a starting company who treats their first and early customers poorly. It's highly unlikely that they will succeed, because their marketing campaign would be very poor. I mean, those early customers helped to get YOUR business started! Without them you'd be a goner.

Once we treat those valued customers better, there is that possibility that they will even be the ones that will help to advertise the business is something that will help to boost sales at the end of the day.

A lot of companies are doing this and this is an effective way to make sure their client stays with them. It's not only automatic discounts, but there's also gifts and freebies. Maybe it'll be in the form of coupons or maybe even a planner and pen. But this is really good marketing strategy to ensure that their client stays.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Exactly! Discounts and freebies are like legitimate bribes from companies to entice their customers to keep purchasing their products and services without looking at any other companies that might offer the same products and services.

Discounts are the best business strategies used to keep your business selling better and better.

Well, I'm of the opinion that discounts should be for both old loyal customers and the new ones. It's true that the old customers deserves more attention and better treatment as well as more discounts but giving it to new clients would influence their decision to keep their loyalty to your business.

I agree. Discounts must be given away to the both parties. Either which, it can make a customer loyal to you as he knew he would be receiving discounts again on his next transaction.

You are right as getting a discount from a particular seller will always make one to go back to the place. It shows that they value the business that you do with them and that's one of the reasons they have better customers as well.

I think this is a good idea because old customers or clients would really be happy about it since they will realize that the company is giving some importance for them. It would surely attracts more customers in the future as they will be motivated to be loyal on a particular business establishment.

It is a good idea. It makes your customer stays loyal to your business in the long time. It might also attract newcomers to your business.

I think it's always a good thing to reward long term customers. If someone has been loyal to you and your business, making them feel valued is a good way to continue their loyalty. I think as soon as you become complacent and don't really care about your existing customers it can be dangerous for you.

Imagine what would the customer feel if after 12 years of service a company would refuse in rewards and discounts? I speak that from my personal experience, as I recently had to change phone operator. To be more specific, other phone operators offer discounts for long term users, and mine didn't. I had to change from one company to another. Oddly enough, the new one treats me better.

I always experience this when I ger back to the market or some store I usually buy. I won't ask for some discounts and they will be the one who will give it automatically and it was effective that I would really go back for my next purchase. There are also times at the store that even though they don't have much discounts or sale they still give those extra service that still other stores that don't have. They are good in taking care of their customers and no wonder I always going back to the same store.

Exactly. Better service makes me more likely to come back to a store even if its prices are higher compared to its counterparts. Being treated nicely is something that money can't buy.

Actually, that's a good marketing strategy. Although, how can you be so sure that she's really giving you a discount? What if she's just saying that she does but in reality its really priced that way. I'm kidding.

This is a good advice. Giving discounts no matter how small would help you build relationships with your consumers. They would remember your business and would more likely come back for more the next time. This could applicable in all businesses albeit in different forms, like for example in food business, instead of giving a discount you can give more servings to valued customers.

I think giving discount is a good idea. But the thing is that discount does not make people loyal. You have to instead give people some idea on what makes them come back. And you have to repeat those things in your routine. That's what most people do and should be done if you ask me. Because discounts often create free mentality among users.

I think this is a fantastic idea especially this holiday season when everyone has so much to buy. I think that if you get a discount from somewhere you keep buying from you are bound to be more loyal in my opinion. Who does not like a discount, however much money that you have, everyone likes to feel special and to feel like they have got a bargain.

That was a brilliant idea. No wonder why even largest malls and businesses using this scheme to take care of their customers. One of the most inspiring business quote that I saw in a hotel where I worked before states that, "If we don't take care of our clients, somebody else will." Anyone can be a great salesman but if you don't know how to take care of your clients, then you are nothing.

Oh yes! The discount trick is “old school”. Many people buy on credit and sometimes they will get an invoice that says “PAY within 30 days you get 10% off the total bill” and then they show you the amount to pay, Some go further and do a scale like: Pay within 20 days, get 20% off bill; within 10 days, get 30% odd. In other words, the faster you pay us our money, the better the bargain is for you, because the less you will spend! Some vendors will say you get 25% on your next order under $50 or something like that. There are all kinds of ways to give discounts and incentives to keep the customer coming back. It's business!

I remember amazon recently did the trick of raised the price of the product. And then offered the 20% of the price. And that price was old price again. So they were still in the profit. So something like that can be good. It is business. But raising the price and then giving discount is a good option.

I have seen this kind of strategy from other business establishment before and it is really an effective way to establish and maintain a trust and loyalty between the business and the customers. I think this kind of strategy is really a good move if business establishment want to have more profit as they can attract more customers by doing this simple tricks.

Giving discounts to your customers will really make them patronize more of your products. They would prefer buying cheaper but already tested ones than products from ta new store. Also, they will feel valued and special since you are treating them with care and generousness.

Sounds like a smart way to keep your repeat customers coming back. People like to feel valued in whatever they do. This is especially true when what they are doing is spending the money they worked hard to get. Giving them discounts is a great way to make them feel appreciated. On top of that, it feels like a good idea to buy from a place where you will save some money, no matter how small it is.

Whenever I want to buy something for my entertainment, and I don't want to pay money for it, I wait for the discounts to appear on that object. For example, When I wanted to buy myself a Play Station 4, I waited for the discount on a site, click here, and then I ordered it. Now I have my own Play Station 4 at a very good price. I usually buy things from that site, not only for the discount, I also like that it is easy to use and the delivery is very fast. I never had problems with the delivery. Also when there are holidays gives very profitable discounts

That's a great business initiative you got right there for sure your client base will grow over the time. Most entrepreneurs that have start up ideas never consider the great advantage of promotions at the start of their endeavor. If they do it for sure most of them would have much higher profit in the first year. Another thing a lot of them do is thinking that is OK to avoid handing out invoices or being late on payments. That being said, it's a terrible idea with brodmin.com being around as I have seen a lot of famous companies having negative comments in regard to payments and invoices.

Hello. In my opinion, the most important thing after a crisis is to automate business processes and inventories, because this will help the business to develop further. I have been working with Makini https://www.makini.io/ for some time now, and I can say that it is one of the most flexible and user-friendly CMMS I have used. This system has helped me find and understand the causes of holes in my business, and track where my already important inventory is going

If you want to know more about it, send me a private message and I'll tell you more.
