    What type of microphone do you use?

    Currently, I have only the integrated mic in my web cam which is used for both audio and video for Youtube. What type of microphone should I be using for very professional audio results?

    You should check out Youtube channels as the channel owners will usually mention which specific brand of microphone they are using. This can give you a good lead as to equipment you will want to use.

    Overhead lighting is really not the best for video production. If you use over head lighting, be sure to offset with lights from various points of view in the room, but not behind as this can cause glare.

    I use small and comfortable microphone both mobile and laptop, generally i prefer mobile`s microphone for listening.

    I use the headphone of moserbear. It's very good for listening and microphone is also at satisfactory level.

    You can probably search it on YouTube, where some famous vloggers reviewed or showed you where they buy there microphones and other gears. I've also heard and seen about RODE and I think they're actually pretty good, like my friend also recommend it so better checked and try it for yourself. What type of microphone do you use?

    I'm yet to get a mic for my webcam though I have read some good reviews about Philip product, I might be going for it.The thread was also useful, I will check out the features of some mentioned here and make a choice.
