What type of food do you like to eat on a date?

I don't mind going to a very casual diner for a date, nothing fancy as that's not my style. I like eating burgers and french fries with a milk shake. Do you like to keep it casual or go fancy for date night foods?

With my husband we do both. We go to fancy places but also enjoy going to a burger joint as well.

Burgers are good if it's a casual date. You don't have to really get too dressed up for that. And, I think it depends on the person as to what they like to do. Some people like to get dressed up and really go all out for a date. And, that can be sweet too. Though I just like a very quiet and secluded cafe for a romantic date, ideally where there are only a few people in the place. That is the best place for a date, whatever the food they are serving. We went to a very casual but sophisticated Italian style restaurant for a date. Such amazingly delicious foods! A very relaxxed atmosphere, so I did not feel nervous at all.

While on a date, I like to keep it casual with a bottle of soft with a plate of pepper soup made with cow meat so as not to get drunk and start acting funny on a date. I do not know what everyone thinks but on my date, especially my first dates, I don't like spending big to impress for all I desire is to know the other person more while we talk about whether the relationship is going to last for a long period of time.

I am that free thinking type that likes keeping everything simple on my first date to avoid raising expectations high.

For me, any types of food is fine with me. I'm not the kind of guy who wants an expensive food for a date. Anything that comforts me is fine with me. It is not the food what is important to a date. It is how you will make some happy moments at that time. Make that day a memorable one by making your partner happy. Just eat what you love to eat.

For me, any food that my date would be comfortable with would be the best option for a date. Like any thing, even though it's not that fancy but a decent restaurant would be a awesome. And also, as long as we both enjoyed the night having each other. What type of food do you like to eat on a date?

I go with what my date can offer but I know it always something yummy.Fried rice, salad, and fried chicken wouldn't be a bad idea but if we find our selves in a Chinese restaurant then something entirely different would I go for.
