Will you have a Guinea Pig for a pet?

I love my Guinea Pig. Her name is Althea. She's very sociable and loving and less maintenance than a cat.

I don't think my dogs would appreciate a guinea pig in the house. Then again, they stay outside now, not indoors so maybe it would not be a real issue.

They remind me of my kitty cats, so maybe. Then again, I have cats so probably no. :/

Awwh, it looks so cute and adorable but as much as I would desire to have it as pet, I wouldn't see it happening because I'm not a fan of rodents pet. I'm more of a dog person than any other pet even cats included. Dogs are more homely and comfortable being around to me.

Honestly most people see it as a game here in Nigeria and would go to any extent to having it killed and used to prepare hot pepper soup. Lol.

I have always owned hamsters and gerbils.
You're going to laugh, but I had even taken my hamster (Stewie) to the vet to get his nails cut. I was too scared to do it myself...lol (I know I know!...lol)

I would love to have a Guinea Pig, just like this one. I would call her Maggie!

They are cute but I would not want to have one. I prefer cats much more.

I don't see why not, They are really cute and easy to take care. Guinea pigs are really cute that you can't say no to them when you look at them in the eyes.

Well I do not mind per se. But I do own a lot of cats and leaving them alone might just lead to a series of mishaps.

I really want a Guinea pig home. But my daughter is allergic to wool and animals can not have. As a child, I always had Guinea pigs. They lived with me for a long time. One lived seven years and the other eight. When the second Guinea pig died I thought it was because I fed it the wrong way. I gave her strawberries. She liked it very much. I've been thinking about it for years and I thought she died of strawberries. But already in adulthood, I came across an article that described why Guinea pigs eat strawberries and it turned out that they do not have enough vitamins or water, so they eat it. I calmed down. Here is this article, who is going to start a Guinea pig, I advise you to read https://petpls.com/
