You will probably just have to teach him that he can not pet strange dogs because you never know when a dog will bite.

Well if your son really loves to touch strange dogs try to tell tour son that he needs to feel first if the dog is willing to be touch because some dogs don't like it but good thing if the dog have a vaccine he will not not be infected by rabbis but the most secure why is not to touch strange dog it might bight your sons hands.

I think that there are certain humans that have that weakness in dogs that it is hard to see dogs bite them. So, I think that your 3 years old son is just one of those persons that feel calm whenever near a dog. Getting a cure for a dog bite is no other than to visit the hospital once it occurs to get an injection that would make the dog poison not effective anymore.

If you are that scared of him getting bitten, then I think it's best to caution your son to stop petting stranger dogs for his own safety. But what I can tell you is that these dogs tends to know who is afraid of them or not right from their approach to them.

I think it's more of a psychological thing, the dogs knows the person means it no harm and thereby feel comfortable in allowing it get touched by a stranger as well. Some dogs are good in reading people from just simply looking at them in the eyes.

I agree with this one, don't just pet any dog strangers, you need to like get to know them first. You can ask the owners of the dog if it has one, and also don't make anything stupid that will probably trigger the dog, they can totally bite you if they do feel like they wanted to, so be careful.

Dogs are man's bestfriend. We can't afford to lost our bestfriend right? So we do a lot efforts to take care of them. But there are times that we just want to play with them not knowing that we hurt them at the same time. They response maybe is to bite you. So to prevent this accidents, we must be careful in playing with our dogs. And inject them with vaccines and anti-rabies for more precautions.
