Isn't there a sweet potato pie? I am pretty sure I had that at my grandmother's home once. It's not something we eat in the house a lot though.

Maybe I will try it out, if sweet potatoes are so healthy.

Sweet potatoes are so dense compared to regular potatoes, maybe that's why they are nutritional, but it's not a vegetable that I would remember while I'm shopping, I didn't find yet a recipe for to include it on my shopping list.

One of my favorite snacks is sweet potato fritters. It's a sweet potato deep fried and coated with caramelized brown sugar and skewered in a bamboo stick.

I have two favorite method in terms of eating this sweet potato, the first one would be eating it fresh from the steam. Steamed sweet potato are the best it just not give you sweetness but also gives you all kinds of vitamins you in your body. And the last one would be the fried sweet potato which is my moms signature and favorite dish in terms of making desserts or any other sweets. The extra sweetness it gives when you coat it on sugar and fried it for just a minute.

Sweet potatoes are traditional foods in our homes. We usually boil them and eat them when cold with tea or chocolate drink. It is mostly served for breakfast, most people prefer to have it for breakfast instead of having bread. I will have to google more new or different methods of preparing the sweet potatoes.

Here in the Philippines, It's not a common thing to eat sweet potatoes or casserole or anything. The only common food that's been made in potatoes are mashed and french fries, that's it. I cannot think of any other dishes aside from that. But we're open to taste this casserole delicacies.
