    I never get gifts from others, usually only buy myself something. Or, if it's a gift, I ask for something small like computer speakers. I'm more than blessed in other ways every other day of the year without physical gifts on my birthday. So I don't expect much more than that anyway. As you say, having family present on your birthday is the gift in itself. c:
