Would you give jewelry as a gift?

Is jewelry an appropriate gift for anyone? Let's say you wanted to give a gift to your best friend, would it be alright to give jewelry as a gift? Would it matter if the person was a man or woman or are their etiquette rules about these things?

Yes, some times When Our Familiar person get marriages So, i am giving jewelery as a gift. For Example: Ring, Pendant etc

It really depends who is this person It will be given to and whether I have the money or capacity to buy the jewelry hahahaha. But for now I will not because I'm broke Lol, maybe someday when I have already my stable life and job I will surely give jewelry to the person would is celebrating his or her special day. If you are thinking to give gifts to a woman, jewelry will be the best thing you can give her because most of the women love jewelry. I have never given jewelry to any man (even though men's jewelry are available and some men love wearing jewelry), however, I have given jewelry as gifts to many women.

Sure, you can if the person is a jewelry person.it will be a delight for the person to own a piece. I know most females like jewelry a lot,so for the females it a perfect gift.

I strongly believe that jewelry is an appropriate gift for anyone. In fact, if I am thinking better I don't think I have ever seen anyone who does not wear a jewelry, a ring, gold chain, gold bracelet, or even a watch...something.
Making a gift as a jewelry is the best solution when you don't have any idea what to buy anything else!

There is nothing wrong with giving one a jewelry as a gift especially when it's ones best friend. The person even deserve such gift as long as he or she is truly a good friend.

Jewelry is quite expensive and anyone it's gifted to must really be someone special. As long as the giver can afford to buy a jewelry, I practically don't see anything wrong in giving it to someone as a gift.

I don't feel like giving jewelries as a gift to someone. I like doing things like handmade gifts. I think it is better than jewelries. But for some people, they prepare to give jewelries as a gift. Maybe the person they want to give that gift loves jewelries.

To my wife or if I was still single to my girlfriend the answer is of course, I would give jewelry as a gift. But i won't give jewelry to a friend because it's not appropriate.
