Do you do any arts and crafts?

Do you have any hobby that is arty or crafty?

Have you ever sold some of your crafts or art here or anywhere else?

I have made quite a lot of knitted and crocheted things before but only ever for myself. I once made the most beautiful jersey and it landed up being too small which was heartbreaking so I gave it to a friend.

I've also made some lace bookmarks which were really pretty.

I have never sold any of these things though because the time it would take to make them in return for the money I could sell them just wouldn't be worth it for me!

What is yout experience?

When I was younger I use to do this craft where you take strings, and a piece of cardboard. You would cut little lines at the top and bottom, and tie a string to both ends on the cuts. Then you would get some yarn and weave the yarn back and through. I don't know what this is called, however it seemed to occupy a lot of my time when I was younger.

I use to make small blankets with this craft, but never sold them. The blankets I made were for my cat, but she never wanted nor liked them! LOL.

Oh that is soooo cute. I know what you are talking about and I can't remember what it is called either.

Just remember that when it comes to cats they will sleep only where they are not supposed to sleep, you know like your good clothing that you washed and ironed and set out for the next day for a really important meeting? The clothing that cat hair sticks to like crazy? That is where a cat wants to sleep, certainly not a handmade blanket made specially for them with love and care.

Yes i tried selling my crafts, about a year ago just out of curiosity i am not really a craft artist expert but i just give it a shot so i tried to make a home made key-chain with using my keyboards press key that are suppose to be thrown away but i didn't expect i made around 10 style of key-chain someone notice it at school a girl then she likes it while i am making it then she offers that i will buy all my keyboard key-chain parts and boom she pays me with just few bucks so i was so amaze on how i get in to it. and now i am thinking of making new craft and try to sell it on online websites market.

I probably did do some arts and crafts but it's not for business though and I remember doing it just for my own self like to take away my stress or some problems. Maybe the main reason would be, creating arts give me some feeling that when I finished doing it, I just feel like I'm a man without any problems in the world.

Yes I do make my own greeting cards, toys and decorations with recycle items at home. I don't sell them because I do not know whether it is worth it or not since locals in malaysia do not buy handmade crafts. My family members and friends loved my greeting cards and gifts which they thanked me with a smile .That is sufficient to make my day happy.

I only done making arts during my school days but after, i never did it again because it is not my passion. I know arts is very interesting but for people who have time to spend and who have the talent and guts in imagining best designs for the audiences. Art brought us to some places and in different emotions based on how historical it is created.

I do arts and craft primarily as a hobby, making pot designs, candles and arts from different materials. I actually made some profit with it. I'm still trying to make it as a steady source of income, and i have been thru ups and downs doing it. One thing being a craftsman, its a different space being an entrepreneur. But of course we all have to be patience , it will come just don't give up.
