My idea for importing Amazon products and reselling in my country went bang!

I was researching Amazon products to import that I could then resell here locally. Anyway that went bang in my face on Monday and I am so disappointed!

When I was searching for products there were loads I couldn't add to my basket because they were marked clearly as "this product is not shipped to South Africa".

I did manage to find some stunning products that I could buy.I added them into my basket and did some more research.

Then a few days later I went to check out and everything worked fine until I tried to pay. Every single product gave an error saying that they don't deliver to South Africa.

I checked Amazon's list of countries that they don't ship to and my country was not listed... yet it seems I can't buy anything there anyway.

What a disappointment and a waste of my time My idea for importing Amazon products and reselling in my country went bang!

To top it off I can't see where I can send a query to Amazon about this. I get so frustrated with this sort of thing. I thought Amazon was the biggest and best online store that delivers anywhere? Thumbs down Amazon, big time thumbs down My idea for importing Amazon products and reselling in my country went bang!

Thankfully I have found an alternative, not quite what I was looking for but I think I can make it work.

Back to the drawing board and now waiting for my products.

I have never bought anything from Amazon except digital products, mostly ebooks. Amazon does not ship to my home country. I am thinking to open a front store. I have done my research. When I am ready with my front store, I will be buying from ebay. Ebay has cheap products, by cheap I don't mean inferior quality. Another store that I am considering to procure my product is from Alibaba, which is the Chinese version of ebay.

I'm really sorry hearing the frustration that you passed through trying to patronize Amazon and making your own money as well. It's quite discouraging for anyone trying to start up a business of his or her using online stores as their buying market to experience such setback, if such person is not determined to carry out the business would eventually end up giving up on the business.

I think you should try eBay and see if they can deliver your goods and products in South Africa. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors, and good luck.

Amazon doesn't ship to my country as well, When I got to know about this, I have disgusted. Most African countries are not listed on their list and I wonder what would be the problem, are we not paying for the products or what.I don't just get it.

This is actually sad and I probably haven't done or experience anything about the amazon like this before. I actually don't buy products on them due to the high taxation that my contry would make me pay or would cost me. Like a 1$ product here would be 3$ dollar if we would receive it or would get it from our local post office.

Aw! I feel your frustration about that situation. I have never bought anything from amazon, but I always visited their websites. I am an online seller here in our country, Philippines. I already knew that suppliers of such items I've selling for so many years are from Amazon, ebay and alibaba. Even though I have money to buy for bulk items, I never try to place an order because here in our country, items ship from other country is well checked and if the items you order is not allowed whether it's fake or don't have the quality, the customs not allowing your item to deliver to you unless you give them a part or share. That is all I know therefore, i never attempt to buy in any online sites outside Philippines.

Back in 2015, if you wanted to buy a good led flashlight with a brightness of 1000 lumens, you had to pay at least$100 that way. And now, after 4-5 years, the situation has changed dramatically. This brightness has become well, quite normal and quite feasible for budget flashlights about$15.

I think that if I'm telling you about this, it would be wise to recommend some interesting models. So catch my personal ideal vont 'Blaze' Tactical Flashlight (2 PACK) that's right I really liked its compactness and mobility, as well as very light weight, which is a huge plus in hunting.

Hmm.. actually, it's very strange that you have such problems with Amazon. But you should not despair, because there are a huge number of other ways to deliver a package from Amazon, even in those countries where there is no official delivery. Now there are intermediary services that can be used to deliver a package wherever it is convenient for you. Look in Google for something about such services, I think you can quickly find exactly what you are interested in. Of course, they charge a small fee for delivery, but you can use Don't Pay Full to find coupons for various products and use the money you save to pay for delivery. Good luck, I hope I was able to help you!

Yeah, man, I perfectly understand. I lived in the US for a couple of years, and I loved ordering from Amazon. I bought so many amazing things there. The best was a kitchen scale, lol. Just check it out. It's soo good https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Beauti...es/dp/B08SW6F5SZ. Now I moved to South Africa for a couple of years because of my work, and I can't order anything anymore. Such a big Company, and they can't ship anything to South Africa. Such a disappointment! I was so mad at first. You can't even imagine.

Everything can be done much easier. I also sell products on Amazon. And I am constantly expanding my range of dietary supplements, even without my own production, but in cooperation with a dietary supplement manufacturer
