Buy Cleaning products or make them yourself?

Hello today im going to be talking about making your own cleaning products around the house. Me and my wife have been looking into this for a few weeks and we have found a few NON Toxic safe cleaning products that are all natural. One of the things we use the most is Dishwashing soap. We use Unscented soap with no petroleum distillates. We sue warm water and mix in the soap with 2 or 3 tablespoons of vinegar. We have so many ideas of how to make homemade cleaning products with oridnary household goods like Baking soda, Vinegar, corn starch, Lemon, and more! What do you think about this is this something you would try? Do you guys buy your own cleaning products or do you make your own? I look forward to hearing everyones feedback and ideas.

As always thank you for reading please dont forget to follow me.

I would prefer to make my own cleaning products, whenever possible as most times they do just as good of a job without harming the humans/pets in the household. I learned not to use bleach many years back when my cat walked over the laundry room floor that had recently been mopped with diluted bleach and he became very ill and almost passed away. Thankfully, he recovered and was fine after that, but I learned my lesson never to use chemicals on the floor. Now I know that it's just as easy to sanitize with a non-toxic cleaner on floors and surfaces, (even counter tops where cats love to jump onto) and safer for the family, even the furry kind Buy Cleaning products or make them yourself?

One thing that works for me, is to mix hair shampoo with baking soda and create a scrub for the tub. The shampoo gets off many of the oils that stick to the shower walls and tub surface while the baking soda provides grit for removing stains.

Lately, I'm trying out Apple cidar vinegar. I have heard it's not only good for cleaning but can be taken internally for a variety of ailments including high blood pressure. Would love to learn if that's true.

Oh here's something interesting you might enjoy Beverly.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I suffered really badly from heart burn. I read that drinking apple cider vinegar can help with that and it did. Well usually I vomited immediately after drinking it and then my heart burn went away for a while.... but I was vomiting a lot all through that pregnancy so I am not sure it was the apple cider vinegar that made me vomit... oh well TMI?

I didn't read through the posts I missed before I added a discussion today about vinegar being like the best household cleaning product ever.

So anyway I am sure you will love that post! I ran out of time but I wanted to write a long explanation of all the things that you can use vinegar for. It top of the list for me when it comes to cleaning my home.

Yes I like to use natural products, for starters it is safer and cheaper. I just love the fact that you can use something natural. I really don't like all those chemical smells.

Hey the more elaborate we can get on this subject the better of the discussion will be. Using organic cleaning products need to become the new popular thing. These chemicals we use in our houses are just horrible. My mom use to use bleach growing up and i remember getting migraines from it. I couldn't imagine cleaning with bleach especially with three kids and two dogs. i agree with you and thanks for your new post its very informative.

My family runs a detergent business, so it's definitely upon us to make our own washing and cleaning products without looking to buy from others. Every member of our family is tutored in the secret of the family business. It's lucrative and well effective in generating the family a reasonable amount of money on daily basis.

We run supplies to several to hotels for their laundry, dry cleaning services, church, even hospitals and outlet shops. Our detergent is very good in all sorts of washing and cleaning, even some car wash companies request our supply services.

So therefore, I really won't have the knowledge to make my own detergent to use for my cleaning and washing and still have to go buy it outside. That is good be most foolish thing I would ever do.

Growing up we mostly buy detergent to use because my mum wasn't really into making soaps for the home but I grew to see my aunt makes her detergents and it helped her saved money and customize it to her she really loved it, so I follow suit and I found out it was a lot better that way than trying to buy store sold.So yes I make my detergent myself, it saved money and help me make just the way I like.

What awesome information. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Indeed, regular cleaning solutions are toxic, and it is a great idea to make cleaning products at home.
I have a question. How could I clean the grouts without putting too much effort in?
For me, tile and grout cleaning is pure torment.
Luckily, I found a tile and grout cleaning company, and they help me whenever I need it.
By the way, they also provide carpet repairing services, so if you want, go ahead and check their site or call them on the number: 493 849 492.
