Hello today im going to be talking about making your own cleaning products around the house. Me and my wife have been looking into this for a few weeks and we have found a few NON Toxic safe cleaning products that are all natural. One of the things we use the most is Dishwashing soap. We use Unscented soap with no petroleum distillates. We sue warm water and mix in the soap with 2 or 3 tablespoons of vinegar. We have so many ideas of how to make homemade cleaning products with oridnary household goods like Baking soda, Vinegar, corn starch, Lemon, and more! What do you think about this is this something you would try? Do you guys buy your own cleaning products or do you make your own? I look forward to hearing everyones feedback and ideas.

One thing that works for me, is to mix hair shampoo with baking soda and create a scrub for the tub. The shampoo gets off many of the oils that stick to the shower walls and tub surface while the baking soda provides grit for removing stains.
Lately, I'm trying out Apple cidar vinegar. I have heard it's not only good for cleaning but can be taken internally for a variety of ailments including high blood pressure. Would love to learn if that's true. I would prefer to make my own cleaning products, whenever possible as most times they do just as good of a job without harming the humans/pets in the household. I learned not to use bleach many years back when my cat walked over the laundry room floor that had recently been mopped with diluted bleach and he became very ill and almost passed away. Thankfully, he recovered and was fine after that, but I learned my lesson never to use chemicals on the floor. Now I know that it's just as easy to sanitize with a non-toxic cleaner on floors and surfaces, (even counter tops where cats love to jump onto) and safer for the family, even the furry kind :) One thing that works for me, is to mix hair shampoo with baking soda and create a scrub for the tub.
