Vinegar – the household cleaning hack you will love!

My mother taught me about using vinegar for cleaning and it is the most amazing thing ever and when I tell people they seem surprised by it.

Not only is vinegar cheap, but you usually have it in your home anyway. Added bonuses are that it is cheap and it will clean just about anything.

Here are some cool ways to use vinegar in your home:
-If you have a stubborn in your home fill a bowl with vinegar and leave in that room overnight
-Keep a spray bottle handy filled with half vinegar and half water. If you spill something on your carpet soak up as much of the liquid as possible with a sponge of a cloth. Then spray with vinegar and leave it to soak for a few minutes. The blot it with a cloth or sponge.
-Use vinegar to remove stickers that kids have stuck all over. Just moisten it with vinegar and leave it to soak for a while and the sticker will come off easy as can be!
-If you have an ant problem just spray that area with vinegar and leave it. The ants won’t be back for a long time!
-Prevent mould in the shower by spraying the walls and shower curtain with vinegar
-Unblock drains by first pouring in ½ baking soda and then ½ cup vinegar and it will bubble. When it finishes foaming rinse it with warm water.
-Use vinegar when you do your laundry too. You can use it as a stain remover by rubbing the stain with vinegar before putting it in the wash.

There are loads more things you can do with vinegar and I use it regularly for just about any cleaning job in my home!

Thank you for sharing! I have used vinegar for lots of things! I have used vinegar to help clean my youngest's cloth diapers, clean my floors and i have even used it to help clean those stubborn buildups in your microwave!!! The best part about using vinegar as a cleaning agent, is that it is safe to use with pets and young children in your home!!!

Yes that's it! Safe and natural.

It is amazing how much more focused I am on using things that are safe now that I have kids. Pre kids I would have just grabbed the Jik for most things... but now I grab the vinegar instead!

I don't know that vinegar is this so cool all the time. I didn't expect that rather than cooking, vinegar can also use for cleaning. How amazing is that? I should try this at home. And for the record, vinegar is cheap than other cleaning materials that can be bought on department stores.

Vinegar is not just good in household cleaning but also a good momentarily remedy for a toothache. Whenever I have a toothache I always look for vinegar because it somehow eases the pain.

Here is one of my favourite use of vinegar.
If dandruff is giving you hard time, it is time to use vinegar. Wet a cotton ball with vinegar and sub on your scalp. wash your hair after 15-20 minutes. If you repeat the process every time you want to wash your hair, your dandruff will be gone in a month.

I have been using vinegar for cleaning purposes but was not aware that they can help to get rid of ants. We are currently having an ants problem over here. I have tried to use some ant spray which didn't work. I will try this hack and hope that it will help in repelling ants.

Just to add, Vinegar is also a very good in getting rid of insects all you need is to mix 1 part vinegar, 1/2 part water plus your favorite cologne or scent mix and spray it in your home and insects like cockroaches would disappear.
