My mother taught me about using vinegar for cleaning and it is the most amazing thing ever and when I tell people they seem surprised by it.
Not only is vinegar cheap, but you usually have it in your home anyway. Added bonuses are that it is cheap and it will clean just about anything.
Here are some cool ways to use vinegar in your home:
-If you have a stubborn in your home fill a bowl with vinegar and leave in that room overnight
-Keep a spray bottle handy filled with half vinegar and half water. If you spill something on your carpet soak up as much of the liquid as possible with a sponge of a cloth. Then spray with vinegar and leave it to soak for a few minutes. The blot it with a cloth or sponge.
-Use vinegar to remove stickers that kids have stuck all over. Just moisten it with vinegar and leave it to soak for a while and the sticker will come off easy as can be!
-If you have an ant problem just spray that area with vinegar and leave it. The ants won’t be back for a long time!
-Prevent mould in the shower by spraying the walls and shower curtain with vinegar
-Unblock drains by first pouring in ½ baking soda and then ½ cup vinegar and it will bubble. When it finishes foaming rinse it with warm water.
-Use vinegar when you do your laundry too. You can use it as a stain remover by rubbing the stain with vinegar before putting it in the wash.
There are loads more things you can do with vinegar and I use it regularly for just about any cleaning job in my home!
