Keep Your Gutters Clean With This Incredible Life Hack

Are you uneasy about cleaning your gutters from a ladder or from your roof? I'm sure you are, I would be really nervous!

I have a possible solution to your dilemma! Attach a piece of a PVC pipe to a leaf blower, and use it like an extension so you don't have to risk the chance of falling from the ladder or the roof!!

Sounds like a good trick, but wouldn't this force the blower to work even harder to blow the air and doing so for too long might burn the motor out quick quickly. Keyz is right in that a good quality one might be able to deal with it, if only for 10-15 minutes, but those basic standard ones you can get from Walmart and the like would probably burn out quick quick if you was doing this all the time.

If you had a long enough ladder, and you had someone at the bottom holding it which you should, and you're quite strong enough, you can just climb up above the gutter or be head high with it and then just use the leave blower as it is to do it for you. Provided you don't have years of leave build up it should be enough to clear it out quite easily.

Another thing you can do is get a really long pole and attach a mop head or a dustpan brush to it and just run it along the gutter. Doing this isn't the cleanest ways of doing it though and you'll get a lot of crap fall out. Although I think you can buy these as well that are specially made for the job at hand.

This is very awesome! The only downside to this would be loss of power. When your using a leaf blower it comes with a standard attachment. If you make it longer it will not work as well the leaf blower is not designed to have that long extension. If you have an expensive blower that does 250+ wind speed then this will not be a problem. I do not recommend this for a $40 Walmart leaf blower though. They are weak and really are useless, buy expensive or don't buy. I cant wait for snow already these leaves are killing me really! Thanks for sharing this when i get a better blower i will be sure to try this out!

I don't clean the gutters, not because it is dirty work, but because I don't have time for cleaning. I always hire a professional to clean the gutters. However, the hacks you have mentioned here might be useful to me someday if I decide to clean the gutters myself.

I always hire someone to clean my gutters. I do this every month so that my gutters are always clean. But with this life hack is cool that I would like to try it by myself. I will try to do it so that I can lessen my expenses every month and save more money. Maybe I should ask my brother for some assistance.
