Great drink for the adults on holidays

Hello guys as you know the holidays are approaching us and even though i don't celebrate i wanted to share a traditional Puerto Rican drink that we make once a year. This recipe is over 100 years old and everybody has their own different version of it. This was passed down from my great grandma all the way to me. This recipe is so dear to my family that i had to actually get approval to write this post. Below im going to provide the instructions and ingredients you will need to make this delicious beverage.

Ingredients you will need to make 1 gallon:

  1. 2 14 ounce cans of sweetened condensed milk
  2. 2 14 ounce cans of evaporated milk
  3. 1 14 ounce cans of coconut milk
  4. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  5. 14 ounces or to taste of Bacardi 151 Rum
  6. 6 egg yolks

Directions to make this are super simple anyone can do it. First take the condensed milk evaporated milk coconut milk vanilla extract and 6 egg yolks and mix them in a bowl. Once nicely blended add in the Bacardi and blend again. Let chill in freezer overnight serve cool.

Please drink responsibly and remember don't drink and drive. As always thank you for reading please don't forget to follow me.

Yes! I absolutely love this specialty drink! I was introduced to this drink about 6 years ago. It was the best adult drink I had ever tasted!

You must have met me! I tried to explain how everyone has a different recipe because sure you can find this on all kinds of websites, but you will NOT find this exact directions or ingredients. Some people put cinnamon in and this is a big NO NO. Becuase of the eggs. It is a heavy drink and it fills you up but its perfect for those cold days when you have to be outside lol. Being sauced in the cold while you shovel is probably one of the best things to do in winter. I didn't know you loved this drink so much i will be sure to make it this month coming in November. Thank you for sharing i appreciate your time.

Thanks for sharing this recipe, sounds very festive indeed! I've never had rum before or most alcoholic drinks. Is there a non-alcoholic version?

I'm not pretty much into cocktails, especially anything involving milk and egg yolks. Give me a good quality glass of whiskey and I'll be happy for the holidays.

Me too, I wonder if girls do really like having a milk and an egg yolk on their cocktails, it seems off for me. But I would probably taste it for sure, out of curiosity. And also, anything that involves whiskey or anything about beer would be actually perfect for me on Holidays as well.

I have never tried this recipe, is a bit hard to find all those ingredients here in my country, but I like the ingredients and I think this drink would taste well. I would try it in the future weekends, I have some friends coming to a barbeque and I think I will try it because it seems to be a special drink.
